A previous AC contractor inspected my son's heat pump and told me he needed a whole new unit. I called Johnny's Air Conitioning and they came out the next morning and did a thorough examination of the unit. The previous contractor found some Freon oil near the compressor and told my son he needed a whole new unit. Johnny is amazing. I called ready to accept the payment I'd have to make to get the air conditioner working in this hot summer, and he told me days. Big facts. He said my batteries might be too weak and go get some juicier ones. I figured that was right cuz Amazon isn't a battery company. I swapped it out with duracells and it still didn't work. I called him back and he told me how to take off the thermostat and replace it myself because he was on the other side of town. Lo and behold I got it off, saw what was wrong (the battery wasn't touching the terminal), pushed the battery into place, out the thermostat back on and BAM my A/C works. Unfortunately my AC went out yesterday. It was getting pretty hot in my house, even though it was one of the coolest days we've had in weeks... I called around to a few places and the soonest I could get in was the next day. I figured that would be fine, but the temperature kept rising. In a panic, I continued my search, and found Johnny. I gave him a call, and he immediately started running through the diagnosis with me. He gave me information so that I would hopefully be able to keep my house cool overnight until he could get out the next day. He then called me back and said he and his business partner would like to come take a look at the system. They showed up within half an hour and immediately got to work. Unfortunately, the person who replaced the motor on my AC unit previously did a terrible job. There was a wire that was missing and the fan motor had burnt out. They were also some stripped bolts. Johnny and his coworker spent the next 90 minutes drilling out the bolts and had the fan motor assembly replaced within the next hour. My AC was blowing cold and I was happy again! Great service. Our AC unit stopped blowing air this morning. I called Johnny's about 7:45 AM and they were at our house before 9AM. They got right to work and diagnosed the problem; the fan motor had died but they had a replacement motor in their truck. They tested the other components of the system, and it was blowing cold air again within the hour. They also looked at our second AC unit and tested the components. They were finished by 10 AM. I was impressed that they were able to arrive within 90 minutes of my phone call and then got the AC working quickly. The cost of the repair was reasonable. Called them as my AC died on the hottest day of the year. Told them clearly it was in a very nasty area on my roof. Two old guys came in, I was frankly worried about them climbing and getting hurt. They did climb up, called me after 20 min that they couldn't access the electrical, charged me 60 bux no work done. *** Update: they had damaged my unit when they went up there to check, pried the door open, bent it, instead of taking it apart, and they had left it open and left, I have pictures from my other mechanic. *** I don't know what their objective is, this is vandalism at best, scam/ criminal behavior at worst. read more

We had an emergency issue with the heaters in our VRBO. We called several companies and due to the drop in temps we were told it would be next week. I called Johnny and he was amazing! 7/17/22 Sunday 6 AM - A/C unit is trying to kick on the compressor but shutting off within 2 -3 seconds. Have Service contract with Goettl and they could not get here till Wednesday. Meantime the house is heating up. Called Johnny's repair service and he got here within 2 hours. Found the problem - potential relay so disconnected the hard start capacitor. Now unit is working fine. Will have to call Goettl again to schedule regular service to get the potential relay replaced and check compressor for any damage.
