I am extremely happy with this addition as it was sorely needed and helps feel the old weights area feel less cramped with people. Speaking of, that area has also seen some additional benches added (thank you!) in place of the relocated racks. That being said, this place is still ridiculously overcrowded all the time. 1:30pm here feels like 6pm at basically any other Chuze, which is mainly why I can't give this gym 5 stars yet. Also the air circulation is still strangely not great. It still gets way too hot especially in the new side yard/turf area I mentioned. But again, very pleased with the improvements so far and I hope they continue to listen to their members to make the experience as good as it can be here. Part of the reason I pay more each month is to have access to amenities like the LIFT Lab. Recently, access to the LIFT Lab has been opened up more broadly, which already makes me question what I'm paying the additional membership cost for. Tonight made that frustration even worse. The gym is advertised as being open until midnight, yet at 11:45 PM I was told I needed to leave the LIFT Lab so staff could have 15 minutes to close. I completely understand that employees want to leave on time, and I have no issue reracking my weights, cleaning up my area, and being ready to leave the gym by midnight. But if the facility closes at midnight, as a paying member I expect to be able to use the amenities included with my membership until the posted closing time. If certain areas actually close at 11:45, that needs to be clearly communicated as the operating hours for those amenities. Otherwise, members are essentially paying for access that isn't available for the full advertised business hours. I've continued paying more specifically for the additional benefits of my membership, but experiences like this seriously make me question whether the Premier membership is worth keeping. I hope management takes a look at both the LIFT Lab access policies and how closing procedures are handled so that paying members are actually receiving the services they're paying for.

Before joining King Cobra, I had him enrolled in a jiu-jitsu class, but I could tell he wasn't thriving. Making the switch was one of the best decisions we've made. What stands out most is how welcoming and dedicated the coaches are. They make every child feel included, and even with a large class, they take the time to work with each student individually. They don't just lead the class--they genuinely teach, encourage, and help every child improve. My son also trains privately with Isaac, and he has been incredible. In group classes, Martin and Jess have also been amazing coaches. Their patience, knowledge, and ability to connect with the kids have helped my son's confidence and skills grow tremendously. If you're looking for a gym where your child will be challenged, supported, and truly cared for, I highly recommend King Cobra. We're so grateful to have found this gym.
