I started with NRG mid year of 2022 and it has been a great learning experience. The coaches are great, they truly care about teaching the proper form to avoid injury and maximize results. It's time to wake up!! 5 am class is about to start at NRG fitness! It's not easy waking up but it's worth it and my body thanks me every time. I truly enjoy the atmosphere at NRG. Starting from the trainers to the members. It's a place where you want to be, where you get to learn the stuff that an average gym does not show you which are the techniques of how to squat, how to use a barbell, how to use a kettlebell, Dumbbells etc, and most importantly how NOT to hurt yourself. Went there for a day and the next day the trainer messaged me saying he didn't want my business cause i said something offensive. I only talk about the Workouts I did previously and commented when I asked him why i was cancel and responded with " I found your comments last night very insulting to the effort that me and my partner have put into our business." Avoid the place, owner won't let you train in the group sessions if you do not do private sessions with him. He did not let me continue my group sessions if I did not attend private sessions with him. He claims that he did not wanted me to get hurt, but did not give me a choice to do the private sessions elsewhere, they had to be with him. He claims that the trainers and him decided that I needed private sessions, when the trainers would teach me and correct me when needed. He was never around, he only went to 2 of the classes I attended. I never do bad reviews, but I had to. I should of read the other reviews on Yelp before attending. Learned my lesson. read more

This place is honestly one of the best things that ever happened to me. I was referred by a friend and went in with no expectations, but it has become a second home to me. The fun competitive atmosphere and personalized coaching has always kept me coming back for me. Its not just a gym, its somewhere i come to learn and ti become better physically and mentally. I joined NRG Fitness approximately two months ago. Before I made the jump to join, I would drive by this little gym and wonder "That place looks cool!" "I wonder how much it costs?" "Could I do what they do?" "What type of gym is it?" One day, I was laying in bed and just feeling tired and so unhappy with myself (both mentally and physically) so I Google mapped the gym to figure out what it was called and how to get in contact. I sent a message through Yelp to the owner and sent an inquiry- to my surprise, that same night I got a response from the owner of NRG Fitness-Jorge, basically saying "Come on in! We have an opening for our 5:30pm class"- I drove in the next morning, had a conversation with Jorge and joined that moment. Since that day, I have not turned back. NRG Fitness and what it stands for keeps you coming for more. The coaches, the workouts, and the members make this place more than just a gym. I cannot stress enough how joining NRG Fitness has challenged me, motivated me, and kept me accountable. You're not here to be applauded for the bare minimum- you're here to be challenged and push yourself. You're here to get out of your comfort zone and do the thing you THOUGHT you couldn't. So glad I started my fitness journey at NRG! Jorge & Jessie are extremely dedicated and educated in what they are doing. They both noticed something was off with my knee when I landed or did squats & all this time I thought I was doing my squats right lol. Former gyms/trainers never payed attention to my form. I've been a client of NRG for about a year & half now. With zero gym knowledge, what convinced me was how the trainers Jorge & Jessie always have their workouts/stations set up beforehand & demonstrate how each workout should be done. That should be enough of a reason, if you're lazy like me. Both are very attentive & walk around class to make sure we are doing the workouts correctly. They emphasize form to avoid injuries but push you when they know you're capable of more; Jorge makes sure to get to know you as a client! If ever necessary, they're able to modify the movements Or show the "badass" version (like Jorge says) if you want to challenge yourself. This is what makes it possible for everyone of ALL fitness levels to get a good work out in! Because my job is sedentary, my current fave is Recovery Friday's with Jessie. We stretch/recover the body in ways we typically don't but should be doing at home/work/gym. Check out NRG! I am not retracting from my previous statement but I did see that the trainer decided to reply to my review. I am not ok with him stating my name since I did keep his private. I am not going based on what my son told me but what a member said. Yes I asked him to change one routine and since the first time I met him I told him my son had a stomach condition. I decided not to get down because my son performs better without my presence. Me staying in the car was discussed with you and we agreed it was best. As you yourself stated that my son did better when I wasn't present. This was discussed when I did get down. It was also discussed when I signed him up that he will work at his pace and go the days he is willing. You said you don't judge, well we can see you do! Every time I spoke with Jorge he said my son did great. I told him he will not be coming everyday since he has his condition and school activities. We both agreed to build it up as we went. I had no problem with Jorge until I was told about that incident. Again my son told me nothing but another gym member. Which I was shocked because I did consider Jorge a cool guy. But his way of replying to my review shows you the kind of person he is. Putting my name and blaming my son when he never told me my son was lacking. You say my kid will do anything not to work out but to inform you he is already in another exercise routine which he goes everyday and is very happy with. I did not force my son to do anything because it's my money and my time I will be loosing. My son has been in many different things as a child and they weren't forced but thanks for judging me! Yes I did not take him daily my decision, yes I did text Jorge and talked to him that the weights couldn't be too heavy due to my son's condition. I suggested we both keep and eye and we agreed. I had no issue nor problem. If you would have asked me a week ago I would of rated him better. In fact, I had suggested to some friends to sign up their kids. The issue is what is done behind close doors. My only suggestion is not to work with kids Jorge! But thank you for replying and defending your gym by blasting me and blaming my son! I paid for a service and he brought my son down instead of helping. I was then told he continued his class and forgot my son was still doing his mile run. Don't bring your teenagers here they are left unattended. He says you work at your own pace but brings you down and is only interested in bringing more people. Jorge is very passionate about what he does and encourages you to try your best. Each class is approximately 45 minutes. For the most part, the routine is as follows: jump rope warm up, stretching exercises, running a mile (since I'm overweight, he would make some accommodations for me - I would run about 1/2 mile), and last it would be a combination of different workouts. The classes are never boring because Jorge always has a different set-up, that way you're also learning new workouts each time you go. I have gone when there were only 2 of us in the morning and also when there were as many as 15 people in one class in the afternoon. The group of people who attend these classes range from very active and fit to not so active and overweight (such as myself). Regardless of what extreme you're in, you will enjoy a great workout while you're there. A lot of the people are familiar with each other because they frequent the same times and days so the atmosphere is very welcoming. Excellent!!! Jorge has brought out the best in me, he encourages and motivates me when I feel I can't he says yes you can. I let him know from day 1 I had surgery on my knee and not only did he say he could help me, he has and it feels awesome to feel this energy again. For many years I have been unable to run, bend my knees, let alone jump rope. I can run a mile non stop, I can bend my knees for long periods of time (went paddle boarding for the very first time, you have to start off on you knees). I was shocked when I wasn't able to jump rope but he never let me give up and now I can jump rope with ease. Not only has he helped me but my daughter who plays soccer at a D1 level has benefitted from his classed. Jorge has taken the time to teach her proper posture and different techniques to better her performance to maximize her workouts. She betters her PR every time she runs the mile. I can go on and on with not only me but with friends and family who have joined and have seen positive results but most of all the encouragement to feel good about yourself. This is a GREAT fitness facility. I think good customer service is important and it's hard to find facilities that offer this level of service all around. I started when they first opened and Jorge assured us he was getting more equipment to provide more options. This had no impact on the workouts we did as we still had amazing group workout sessions (as promised, more equipment keeps coming in). Jorge listens to your goals and provides guidance to help you accomplish them and pushes you to keep going. I recommend this place to everyone and any age. There are kid classes and if you're just starting or have pain points, Jorge provides alternates options for your workout. The membership pricing is also very reasonable! Honestly this gym is truly BOMB and so different from a regular gym. The coach is very attentive and knowledgeable. The workouts are hard and effective, I have seen the difference in myself. I have more energy, my clothes fits better and I still have a long way to go. The classes are so much fun and even when is a big group I honestly feel like I have my own personal trainer. I honestly love this gym so much.. I can honestly say at first I hated going to the 8 o clock class and I hated working out in general but throughout time Jorge and the other people in the group have made this journey so fun for me. Everyday I look forward to going to my class and that's something I didn't think I would ever say.
