I will never rent from another company but Penske, their trucks are in better shape, they price matched Budget and U-haul and the loss damage waiver covers damage that is typically not covered by other companies. They have a million of other things to rent, almost anything that you would never need.

Plenty of moving tools and accessories for purchase at their office 3. The 15' rental truck comes with an extended gangplank for loading. 3. Gated parking for your personal vehicle with access codes to get in and out. 4. Afterhour customer support if you're trapped in their gated parking lot. Expect to wait 45 minutes or more. Cons: 1. This location closes early so don't take the employees word for it. Google said 5pm but the cashier guy told me it was actually 6pm. When I showed up at 6, the whole place was shut down. 2. Return the rental truck before the office closes or else you'll be using the self checkout process. The website was sluggish when I used it and can give the false impression that the check out process was completed. There's a $20 fee otherwise. 3. Another reason to return the truck before the office closes is the gates can malfunction and lock you in their premises.

Rep said we were out of luck and, with much attitude, asked if we were the kind of people who'd show up 3 hours late for a 2:00 haircut. Here's how it should have went: The clerk honors the pre-confirmation and gives a 6-day reservation a pick-up grace period like every other company does. Or ... the rep apologies for the confusion, explains the policy, and finds us another truck in the area. You left us without a truck for our move, coupled with an unforgivable bad attitude with everyone involved in your customer service. Never will I use or recommend UHaul. Inexcusable.

We did run into a bit of a snafu with firing it up, only because we'd not used one like this before. I called the shop and was walked through how to get it going. I appreciated the guy on the phone not speaking to me like I was a moron. The grill got hot quickly and didn't quit. We cooked burgers for 2.5 hours. The pick up was great the next day, too. Pick it up from them, (35$ for a full day!), and the condition of it was awful. I inspected it visually before renting and gave them the benefit of doubt that it just looks a little beat up as it is a rental. But I get home, plug it into the wall and this "beauty" produces half of the torque my handheld, battery, compact DeWalt impact does. Not to mention that Pin Detent on the anvil of the corded impact was completely pressed in so you couldn't even properly lock an impact socket on the dang thing first and last time I'll be coming here, wish I took pics and vids of the tool performance because it was hilarious. No idea why they rent tools that don't perform as they should and leave it to the customer to find out after spending money renting the equipment!

My first experience here was really easy, the truck was $39.99 + Tax and suited all my needs. There was some confusion over my method of payment, they authorize a card for $250 for deposit then you get charged after the rental is returned for whatever the cost is plus mileage, gas, etc. The $250 then gets put back on your card, well in my case they accidentally charged my card, luckily they were able to refund it and there was really no harm done. My second experience was just as easy, I asked for the same thing I had a month ago and there was no questions asked. Once I payed I notice the rate is suddenly $49.99 + Tax. There is no price listing I can find on the web site and when I asked about the change I was told they just moved their rates on the 1st of the month. Seemed a little fishy to me especially since it was May 1st and I was specific in asking for the same thing I just had less than 30 days ago. I would think at the time i was filling out paper work before actually renting the truck someone would have mentioned, "Hey, by the way our rates changed starting this month and it is different from your last rental". I didn't really feel valued as a customer who came back twice in a month to rent equipment and was a little upset I wasn't informed about the change in price. I'm so glad to out of the dark side and into the light. Every single container with clothing was full of bugs! All my clothes had to be tossed. The elevator is unsafe. Dose not work half the time. My friends would not go onto elevator for fear of being stuck in it. They charge $5 or $10 to pay your bill by debit or credit card. They try to raise the price every time the bill is due. Three contact is shady. Make sure you read every word, and know they will follow through with every unfair charge they can get away with. I believe they make more money on unfair charges then they do renting lockers. It feels like dealing with a street dealer I feel a weight lifted from me finally getting tie cut. The boxes seem sturdier and of a higher quality than those for sale at other retailers. Even the roll of packing paper was superior to those found elsewhere. Had plenty of time to get everything unpacked once moved. We weren't in a mad rush to get everything unpacked--definitely helped ease the stress of the move. Once all the boxes were unpacked, Joe came out the next day and picked up all the boxes. It's great not having to worry about disposing of all the boxes I needed. Highly recommended!

After I was done with the move I gave his service a call and they promptly set up a time to come pick up the boxes. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone facing an upcoming move. This service is a cheaper alternative to purchasing boxes outright while also being environmentally friendly as the boxes are re-used. Bottom Line - Great Experience!!
