So far so good. We got our text, that the room was ready, while we were in the park, and when we were done, we went to check in. We got some food from the To-Go Chicken restaurant, we got to our room, and no utensils. I walked down to the restaurant, and they were kind enough to give us plates, napkins, and utensils. I am assuming that we are not the first, and will not be the last. The room was pretty basic, two beds and a bathroom. For the price, it seems like it is worth it. This is by far the worst front desk service at a hotel that I have ever seen. The front desk clerk was extremely rude and continued asking for a valid ID even though my ID expired in 2028. I asked for a manager and the manager was even worse than the clerk. After they finally agreed on their mistake they deliberately gave me the last room furthest from the elevator. Does it have anything to do with me being of Mexican decent?? I think it does!! read more

Sometimes I feel like I give too many 5 star reviews, because then I have service like Knotts hotel and I think it really puts all my other 5 star rates to shame. From the second we stepped foot on property we were taken extra special care of. Diana the young lady at the counter knew the start of our vacation had been rough and went out of her way to do what ever she could to put a smile on our faces it isn't often you get service like that and she should be recognized with a gold placard or a huge raise. The room was one of the best hotels I have stayed in and it's because they pay attention to the little details. Good job Knotts, you have made a fantastic for life. read more

Came here for thanksgiving lunch. The food was pretty great! However the service was mediocre at best. I had an empty drink and our server just neglected me. After a while he finally brought back the boysenberry punch drink. BUT IT WAS SO SOUR AND DARK. Like jeez, okay making me wait just for it to be nasty. Anyway everything else was good. read more

The hotel looks better than ever. They have completed renovations of it. The location is ideal because it is right on the property, and you don't need to even cross the street to get to the park. It's the best amusement park! Prices are competitive to stay, especially if you book in advance. The hotel parking lot may or may not be secure. For more information, please reference the Knott's Passholders Facebook group. This is not necessarily anyone's fault because it's just the area and the state. If you stay at another hotel in the surrounding area, it might be less safe. I've stayed there twice, and last time I walked into my room to find an employee snooping through my things. But that was just my experience, and I came back for another stay after that. I understand a manager needs to stop by if you get no cleaning service, but that wasn't the case for me. Anyone can just walk into the hotel. I haven't always seen security at all times. They have a newly renovated restaurant on the property, too. You might like it. Check-in staff can exhibit better manners and be better trained to listen about customer concerns, at least in my circumstance specifically. Stayed from April 6th to April 10th. Absolutely loved our stay! To say the staff was friendly and helpful would be an understatement. Top notch service. The location is great. Two minute walk to Knotts. They have a free shuttle to take you and pick you up from Disney. The restaurant and bar has really great food. The breakfast buffet has biscuits/gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, waffles or French toast (alternating) yogurt, cereal, pasteries. Great happy hour drink deal. The pool is a good size. Hot tub is piping hot. The pool says heated, but a bit on the cooler side. The shower has boysenberry soap and shampoo, and was very hot. My only minor complaint is the mini fridge is infact very mini LOL and wouldn't feel completely confident storing food in there due to temperature issues. Only a minor issue, and my only issue. Overall, i give Knotts Hotel 99.99% approval rating. read more

Our room is always clean. This stay we were in the first floor and I would request not staying in that floor next time. You could hear the laundry room and the flushing of toilets. They still get a 4 because everything else was awesome. Bought the 699. Package. Dinner and breakfast was good. The early entry was awesome. read more

Visiting from out of town and was chose to stay here because we were going to knotts berry farm. The room was clean and average size. The water pressure in the showers is very low. All hotel employees were friendly, from the front desk, waitresses and housekeepers. This place has a lot of weddings in the ballroom and it's beautiful looking. Didn't make it to the pool but it's kid friendly and lots of people using it. This is a very kid friendly hotel. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was very good and lots of options. Let me start by saying that I L-O-V-E the renovations they have done to the rooms! But that is not the real reason that we decide to stay here. Honestly it's the exemplary service provided by all of the workers from the front desk to the bellmen to the cleaners and everyone in between that has made each stay here P-E-R-F-E-C-T (and if we do have a problem the staff always does a great job listening to our concerns and coming up a solution). Also it does help that they have free shuttle services to Disneyland and we can just ride our scooters to Knott's Berry Farm next door. The layout changes to the Oversized One King rooms are greatly appreciated! The couch is no longer right in front of the A/C so the flow front the unit is not blocked plus with it against the wall creates much more space in the room. The coffee maker that we had was a Keurig which made it easy to utilize it more. While some of the renovations can be an inconvenience like when they were working on the area where the elevators are located but it's like a night and day transformation (I wish I had taken pictures of this in hindsight). We got to see the remodel from stripping everything to painting and putting in the new furniture. The area is so much more brighter and warmer now. Honestly I can't wait to see all of the new changes the next time we go back for vacation! read more

Location was awesome for being right next to the theme park, but there are barely any extra perks to staying here beyond FREE HOTEL PARKING, 20% DISCOUNT to the Amber Waves restaurant downstairs, and being WALKING DISTANCE TO THE PARK. There's no separate guest entrance or line to enter the park. The GOOD: Oh wait, you can get DISCOUNTED THEME PARK TICKETS here and they are reserved for hotel guests at the front desk. At the last minute we ended up having a child come with us and luckily they had tickets available for purchase there because the website ran out of reservation spots and we couldn't buy it and were panicking. We were celebrating birthdays so we were able to call ahead and order SNOOPY DOLLS with our reservation so that was nice and made our trip better. We also got the 100th anniversary upgrade but unless you are a collector, the tote (made of paper), refrigerator magnet & 2 bottles are NOT worth the extra $50. The BAD: There is NO FRIDGE and NO MICROWAVE in the hotel room so we ended up buying a cooler from the local target to put ice into for our perishable food. That was really annoying. There are NO THEME PARK VIEWS according to the front desk. The WATER PRESSURE got so LOW after 2 people showered. The also NO WINE OPENERS for hotel guests to use. We called for room service (busy signal) so my friends went down to the restaurant and asked for them to let us use their wine opener (they said the hotel doesn't allow them to lend the bottle openers because "it's a liability") and they asked my friends for $15 to OPEN THE WINE FOR US so BRING YOUR OWN or get one from Target with your cooler. The WALLS ARE THIN so you can hear inside other rooms and BEWARE OF THE CONNECTING DOOR ROOMS. We had one that had it and the people next door reported us for noise even though we were just talking past 10pm (it was 11! and we paid for our room so why couldn't we laugh & talk to each other?!?) So definitely ask for a non-connecting door room if you plan to talk to each other past 10pm. The staff said they walked by our room from the hallway and just heard us talking but to be courteous to the other guests, meaning GO TO SLEEP AFTER 10. They only gave us 1 shampoo, 1 lotion, 2 soaps, and that's it (for a room that sleeps 4 people). We tried multiple times to call room service and the front desk but they either rang and rang or was busy so we gave up. The only time we got to speak to anyone from the phone was when they called about the noise complaint and we made do by that time. The POOL was SMALL & OVERCROWDED even with them having you make reservations to go into the pool. There's no one policing that policy anyway because there were people with different arm bands in the pool so I guess once you're in there, you won't be kicked out but the door key may not work coming back in. We went so we can watch the lighting ceremony at 8:45 pm... it lasted barely 2 minutes but at least we saw some fireworks. It's better than nothing during this pandemic era. OVERALL: Most of the staff are nice, but there were some that just made the hotel look bad. They have issues with answering the phone. Would I come back again? Probably not because I'm a local, but it was nice being able to go back to our room to drop off merchandise that we bought, rest when it got too hot, and change when it was getting colder. Then again, a car would probably have done the same. It was worth trying but for a staycation, it was disappointing. read more

Booked our stay here through the Knotts web site, and booked the bed and breakfast special for two nights over the Martin Luther King holiday weekend. I asked for a top floor room, first time here and was not sure what the above the room noise would be. Check in was fast and easy, but wait, as we pulled into the parking lot, a very nice lady greeted us, asked if we were checking in, we said yes, she directed us to where to park our car during check in, so we proceeded to go in, after check in, we got our tickets, asked if they would hold our luggage, they would and when our room was ready, they would text us, this was about 9:30am when we arrived. Got to the parking lot, less that an hour later, we received the text, but we didn't go back until much later, around 4:30 that evening. When we got back, same level of courtesy was given to us, got our luggage, went to the room. Looked the rooms just went through some refurbishments, and it was very nice, but you could still tell it was an older property. Now why the four out of five stars, being on the eighth floor I expected no noise, wrong, floor nine has a ballroom, and they were moving chairs and tables until after midnight. Future reference, well ask for a top, end room, the ballroom isn't above those rooms. The temp in the room was very comfortable, but when we went to take a shower in the morning, no hot water, we called downstairs, and were told to give it about ten minutes, kinda a waste of water, given that California is water poor, but the desk was right, about ten minutes later, we had steamy hot water. No outside noise was heard surprisingly being so close to the Theme Park. The soaps in the bathroom all smelled of boysenberry's, which was way cool! The hotel lobby was very high end looking, with a bar and gift shop that were right next to the restaurant. The buffet breakfast at Thirty Acres Restaurant was very good and flavorful, they had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, Denver scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and French Toast. Check out was fast and easy as well, in fact, your parking pass will work for the whole day until midnight of the day that you check out. All in all, had a great time for our anniversary, just a few things that they need to work on to get those five stars from me. read more

Part II: I forgot to mention that since the renovation it started with ice machines on every other floor. Now it's only on the 6th and 8th. I'm sorry but I am too old to be riding the elevator to see if they have ice. The room and bathroom is large and spacious. I don't like the bathroom set up, they place the folded towels on metal shelves above the toilet. When you flush, you may get toilet water spackle on clean towels. Im using my knee scooter. Theres plenty of room to roam around which is a plus. The shower is handicapped accessible. The walls are thin. You could hear the people next door. The Kitchen restaurant closes at 10:00pm. We ordered a pizza for pick up. Vending machine sell $6 drinks. AC is on full blast, our room is good and cold. The bed is alright. It's not a luxury comfort bed. Hotel is pretty quiet. read more

We purchased the Classic Package which includes hotel accommodations, a one day Knott's Berry Farm ticket, parking, and breakfast buffet. It was so convenient to be right next to the park and able to go back to the room during the day to rest a little and then return to the park later in the evening when the lines died down. We stayed on the newly renovated 8th floor and found our room comfortable and sufficient for all our needs. The water in the shower kind of alternated from warm to hot and the soda machines didn't work on our floor but there were no major complaints. They have a sign in the lobby notifying guests there are some moderate construction sounds during the day. We were also impressed with the breakfast, which had several hot dishes as well as oatmeal, cereal and pastries. read more

We stay here when the Boysenberry festival is going on. They offer a great package room, parking, tasting card and park admission. The hotel this year (2023) is going through a massive remodeling. All new rooms, decor, furniture, lighting, fixtures and amenities. Our room was great, new furniture and bedding. Much better than last year. Sad that Amber Waves and the bar was closed because that area is under construction at this time. The artist drawing we saw show some nice new views of what to expect. read more

The hotel is clean and attractively decorated. The room was a single queen and was quite small. The bed was too firm and sloped to one side. honestly not sure why the reviews are bad, my group had a wonderful stay! yes they were doing construction but they tell you that at booking. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and ready for us when we got there @ 10 am! The rooms were so worth it, including the admission for the park. It made our experience so much easier being so close to the park and parking was so close to the hotel as well. The outlets are kinda hidden and loose but that was our only concern. read more

Booked a hotel, tickets and breakfast buffet package a few months ago for the family for summer and was very excited to surprise my son. Overall staff experience was great and front desk staff are very nice and kind to my son who has autism. Our room was very cute but for a family of three and only one outlet working in the room we struggled to plug things in on the desk. We did find more behind the curtains but your phones were on the floor to charge and not easy to access. Please beware if light sleeper or small children, the walls are very very thin and you can hear everything happening in the rooms around and above you. Worst nights sleep ever. Considered calling the front desk a few times but didn't want to be that lady. My son had a great time so that's all that mattered in the end. Our room came with some Snoopy plushes and this absolutely made his stay. read more

We actually loved staying at the Knotts Berry Hotel! It's very clean and nice throughout! The staff are very helpful and friendly as well! The room was a double queen. It's a little small,but very nice! And made it work just fine! They offer a shuttle for Disneyland,which was great! We ended up not using the shuttle,and they called to check on us,which was so kind of them! They have a fantastic pool area! It's spacious and beautiful! The pool is very big and they even have a splash pad. Gym was great! They also have a sauna and steam room. It isn't loud from the park like some people mentioned. Maybe it was an off season,but it never bothered us. We will definitely consider coming back! The only reason I don't give them a 5 star rating is because they don't have a microwave in the room or anywhere downstairs. That was a little inconvenient with children. And then there was the fact that we were there during the Boysenberry festival,and they ran out of Boysenberry syrup throughout the whole hotel during our entire stay. I am very disappointed with this hotel. I booked through Get Away Today. 2 months prior to my arrival I tried to communicate with the hotel to be sure my family would be comfortable. They assured me I would. I tried to pay for an upgraded room and they said it was not possible. I accepted this as true and didn't budget for upgrading the room. Upon arrival I was treated horrible, they kept calling me a third party guest" telling me all the stuff I did Not get because I was 3rd party. We went into our room and we of course we didn't fit. There was no room for 1 member of our family to sleep. I was then forced to upgrade and pay over $600 that wasn't planned for. On top of that they charged me for a day I didn't even stay and didn't refund the money. Charged me for 1 extra plush, I bought 4 and was charged for 5. I have stayed at every Disneyland Resort through Get away today and have NEVER been treated so poorly. I will not ever stay at Knottsberry Hotel again. Beyond that I will tell anyone I hear saying that they are staying at your establishment NOT TO!!! RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL AND ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE read more

Okay so I revisited this hotel and it truly is a good hotel. The snoopy rooms are very cute and definitely worth the price difference. The pool also was supposed to be closed at 9pm when I was there. Which was nice because we would have had no late night noises from it. The pool did close early due to inclement weather. I loved how the front desk called me to inform us of the pool closure. I also noticed that every time we passed the lobby the staff was very friendly and greeted us. The only downside to this hotel is the rooms are cute, but it is a standard hotel room. For a theme park hotel I was still expecting more. I would definitely stay here again and it is a good hotel! read more

Remodeled rooms are a nice upgrade ... even fresh Knott's art on the wall. They tried to improve vanity lighting, but I think I they missed the mark. The new vanity has lots of lighting options, but there isn't one with really good bright lights for putting on your make up. Most hotels have issues with this, thanks for trying. True story .... My dentist said she didn't know Knott's was a theme park ... just thought it was a berry farm. Boysenberry festival continues through April 16th. So many Boysenberry options to try. PS: You can also buy boysenberry plants. I bought one last year and it is really growing well. The first year they don't produce any fruit so this year I'm looking forward actually getting some boysenberries on my vines. read more

Kids approved! This hotel is super convenient walking distance to theme park. The hotel parking is only 10 dollars a day and they allow you to stay in the parking after check out so that was nice. 1. The check in staff was very courteous and accommodating, since our room was done early they allowed us to check in a little early. Then at check out they didn't have late check out available, however they gave us a Pool key so we could use the pool even after check out. That was everything to us! 2. The rooms are a bit out dated and nothing fancy. I wish they were updated a bit. 3. The lobby was nice and clean, however the bathrooms by the gift shop had an awful smell 4. We also dined at their restaurant and our discount was only good for lunch and dinner and of-course we had breakfast lol 5. The pool is nice and has a kids splash area which was really nice, I just wish we could get food from hotel and eat by the pool that would Be nice. Maybe like a pool menu. 6.
