The first time I got the corn beef sandwich It was great - like so good so I was pumped for lunch today. It had sauerkraut, light Dijon, Swiss on rye. This time it's gross. They coated it in mayo and stuck pickles inside of it. Last time they didn't do it this way and it's nasty with all the Mayo. There is no sauerkraut either and it's not even on rye. Honestly I'm super disappointed. My car is currently in the shop getting an oil change so I got delivery and I have no option to get a new one. I will be calling the shop to let them know. The inconsistency is disappointing. I did call to ask if I didn't eat it that I could come when my car is finished to get a new one and she was very nice and complied. Very fresh food and the bread is to die for! I had the Philly and my wife had the Italian. Both were great!

Just had lunch at Knuckle. First impression wasn't too great as I was left standing at the counter for what felt like a solid 10 min before anyone presented themselves. I contemplated walking out towards the end of the wait. I ordered the Knockout (Large size) B.L.A.T.T (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Turkey, Tomato) and substituted the standard brioche bun for a pretzel bun (since I saw other sandwiches on the menu use the pretzel). Only heard the total and paid but when I added things up after, noticed I was charged a $1 for the switch of buns. Ok, not a huge upcharge but I do wish I was notified before paying. The sandwich comes and the first thing I notice is the bun, which doesn't resemble any pretzel bun I've ever seen. It pretty much looks like a standard white bun with a flaky outer crust. The amount of meat included for the large size was satisfactory but my biggest complaint is the rest of the toppings were pitiful compared to the massive amount of meat. I would guess maybe a 1/4 avocado was used, a little mayo, two bacon slices, one tomato slice, and some shredded lettuce. Overall the little amount of other toppings made for a pretty dry sandwich. And for the $13.80 charged, it was filling but overall not up to what I was expecting as an overall sandwich experience. A little more mayo and avocado would have gone a long way. If I returned, I definitely would try another sandwich and would think twice before ordering the large in anything, because it's apparent only the meat portion increases with the size change and not the rest of the toppings (which isn't much to begin with). read more

I was going to be nice and save the other half of this sandwich for my wife, but the struggle is too real!! What she don't know won't hurt her. I, however, will continue to reap the amazing benefits of this sandwich. My brioche bun is buttered and toasted perfectly. The turkey is that type of turkey from a leftover Thanksgiving turkey. Here's the best part: we ordered the Dagwood and the Heavyweight sandwiches as they come. The Hot Stuff Chicken Sandwich is their only "spicy" sandwich, but the sandwich itself wasn't spicy; only the jalapeños were. Despite the bland food, the service was good. The cashiers were very knowledgeable about their food. We were told all the meat is made in-house, as are the buns. Now, the ambience and atmosphere. The music was a mix of 90's songs which was nice. Was super pleasantly surprised to find this sandwich place right down the street. They had sooo many fresh sandwiches to choose from and they were all unique in their own way. They had a seasonal one which was a turkey, cranberry, and stuffing one that I absolutely loved. My boyfriend got a pastrami sandwich and it was to die for! Found this sandwich shop on Yelp and received excellent reviews. So, my wife and I went to have lunch. This is no fancy place, but comfortable and clean. I order the Philly cheese sandwich, and my wife four vegetable sandwiches. It took about 5-10 minutes to get our order as we were given a number and sat in the lobby. I have to say my Philly cheesesteak was very hot and very good. My wife's four-vegetable sandwich was also good, I'm not into sandwiches with protein added, but it was also very good. Our order was about 24 dollars, and one meal was a combo. They have a fancy beverage machine where you can mix and match sodas. Nice, but if you are waiting to get a drink, it is a wait for the guy in front of you to move on. Overall an excellent visit, and our lunch exceeded my expectations. It features homemade spin on sandwiches you know and love, and some you've never heard of (but will love when you try them). I've tried the following sandwiches: * Hero- italian meat sandwich * Meatball sub * Dagwood - ridiculously monstrous taste-fest * Cuban sandwich * Knuckle sandwich- pot roast on a bun * Meatloaf sandwich * Turkey Cranberry Sandwich- Thanksgiving on a bun I also tried 2 of the soups (clam chowder, chicken tortilla). Everything I have tried was wonderful. Great tastes. Plenty of options and flexibility with how you want things done. And MASSIVE portions. I ahd to bring home portions half of the time. Too big for one meal! The people are kind, and pricing is reasonable, in line with other local specialty sandwich shops. The shop has plenty of seating and good drink options as well. When the Rona really started, I was trying to find new places to dine without having to leave my house. Lucky for me, Door dash was able to help me find locations as well as Yelp. This was a newer restaurant at the time, and I really didn't know much about them. But boyyyyyy am I glad I did!! Food: I have tried a variety of sandwiches here, but what I love is the breakfast burrito they have in the mornings. They load it up with all the fixings and they're totally customizable. If they can fit it, it will go!! Dining area: I really haven't sat in the dining room as the virus has kept me home most of the time. When I would pick up togo, it looked like plenty of seating inside. Big, easy to read menu and super friendly staff! But out of no where yesterday I had a craving for a blt so we discussed stopping in for a late lunch after shopping and I was presently surprised by the experience here. The shop itself was very clean and the customer service was very good at this location we ordered 2 BLATTs on a pretzel bun and they were definitely 5 stars sandwiches the bacon was cooked just right and the pretzel bun was soft and fresh the lettuce and avocado had a nice color and wasn't old our experience here was definitely worth coming back they have definitely changed my outlook on eating sandwiches again. First time going there but I cannot rate them for their food as I wasn't able to place my order. Got there and when started giving my order, was told it was too late for breakfast as it was 10:35am. I said was a wasted drive from Apache Junction and she offered to see if the people make 2 steak bagel breakfast sandwiches but they said no. Food was promptly brought to our table, which was delightful as I have the patience of a young child. My professor told me the owner of this place was her childhood friend from Chicago so I had to come through. Roscoe was super cool and friendly! This was the first day we could eat out finally in AZ but we sat outside since we weren't sure. Roscoe actually came out to invite us in to tell us the inside was open! As for the sandwiches, I love they way they size it. Instead of increasing size of the sandwiches they just add more meat. Spectacular. I got the knuckles sandwich, B.L.A.T.T, and pastrami Reuben. Very impressed they make most of their deli meats in house. Besides the bologna and the cured meats for the Italian hero, everything else is made in house. The knuckles sandwich was a shortrib sandwich with a horseradish cream sauce. Very decadent and flavorful with the spice from the horse radish to balance it out. It was quite heavy but pair with the complimentary pickle spear it was a great combination. B.L.A.T.T is a BLT with avacado and turkey. First I want to say it was such great sandwich that ate half before snapping a pic. I do have to say tho, if you are expecting a BLT, remove the turkey as personally I think the turkey turn the flavor profile of the BLT to an entirely different sandwich. Flavor wise, it was fantastic just a different sandwich. The pastrami Reuben was the last one I had and again another delicious sandwich. They offer two options, corned beef or pastrami, both of which are made in house. I never understood why you would go corned beef when pastrami is available as it's just smoke corn beef so more depth of flavor. And like the other sandwiches, it knocked me on my ass. The Reuben is my favorite sandwich so I knew it would be hard for me to dislike this one and it was my favorite of the three. They have a great selection and I'll definitely be back!! read more

I unexpectedly enjoyed one of the best Reuben sandwiches I have had in many many years! While all of the ingredients were delish, their gluten-free bread is the absolute best I have tried yet!
