This place is top tier. Small, only a few tables and a real smooth casual kicked back vibe. The service was great, the two man team served and tended bar and both were extremely friendly and engaging and expediting the food very well. The cook is top tier. This food was South Korea quality and reminded me of the food I ate there . Fresh, flavorful and true to the roots. The drinks complimented the menu very nicely and the price point allowed for trying several things on the menu.

We live really close to Kogi and I like going there for convenience. Several years ago, I used to adore the food here, now it's hit or miss. I've notice their fusion dishes are where they shine now. Whenever we do come, we're able to get a seat immediately. The people who work here are kind. Do know that service can feel a little slow at moments. The space itself is cute and the paintings on the wall are nice. The best thing I've tried here recently were what my friends ordered which were the bulgogi loaded fries and the bulgogi quesadilla. They have a fun time with fusion here! I got the shiitake mushroom savory udon noodles on my last visit and wished they had a bit more flavor. The time before that I got the japchae that was way too oily for me. My fiancé likes this spot a lot, so we do go a couple times a year.

Wow!!! Everything we had was beyond flavorful. The spicy udon with the beef - best udon stir fry I've ever had. It was the perfect combo of heat, sweet, and savory. Bugolgi kimbap and chicken kimbap - the beef one was my favorite as I felt it was more flavorful, but they were both good Pork lettuce wraps - pork and Kimchi had a nice kick however, I wish it did come with more lettuce.. Bugolgi bowl - one of the best bowls I've had. It was loaded with meat and veggies. Service was beyond accommodating and so nice. If I'm ever back in this area, I will make sure to be back

We were at a cheer competition and decided to explore places to eat Walked in kogi was greeted right away I had questions about menu the host was pleasant and answered all questions The food was so good we ate there twice in one day First time we had cocktails dumplings shrimp tempura and udon noodles today I'm still thinking about the noodles they were sooooooooo good I had the ones with mushrooms and garlic absolutely delicious Then we came back had more dumplings, chicken wings and fries everything was so good the second time we came back it was packed so we had to be patient both times seemed like only one young lady was working her little butt off I wish they had a location in Maryland I really enjoyed the food

This is a hole-in-the-wall Korean place. Atmosphere was cozy and it has limited seating. Kimchi pancake was savory. Corn cheese was sweet corn torched with onions and mozzarella. Bulgogi bowl with egg was flavorful. Food was very good. Though our server was very nice, she was also busy working the bar and it was a little hard to get her attention.

Good Korean restaurant food is very authentic. The only downside is that they are all very sweet. I had the chicken wing in spicy flavor, it's not that spicy instead it's pretty sweet, it's very juicy inside and crispy outside, comes in full wing size. I also tried the tofu Soondubu. It's very flavorful, again there's too much sweetness inside which is a bit unnecessary. Service is fast, the place is casual and more divy vibe

Got me a lil bento box for take out and it was a great balance with a lot of flavor. The ambiance looked cute and the girl who took my order was super nice ! I'll definitely be coming back to sit and dine in. I also got this box for about $18 with tax !

The food here is a 5 out of 5 and the waitress we had was very helpful and fast. For some reason they were playing gangster rap and it is hard to have a nice meal while people are yelling obscenities and singing about killing people. Also 2 employees were wearing socks and sandals. A little more professionalism would make this a 5 star spot.

was craving korean food and tried the jigae, kimchi pancake and wings. While the jigae flavors weren't quite the same as what I'm used to in LA, overall the food was still tasty. We went on a Monday evening so it was pretty quiet inside, but they had a steady stream of takeout orders and the service was great

Good food, hole-in-the-wall small restaurant. Let me start by saying that we went to Kogi's just as they got slammed from a conference around the corner. Wait times in the area were up and we were hungry. The service was excellent - while the wait was long and the waitress was solo initially, she was very, very nice and kept going with a smile and tried to get everyone seated as fast as she could. The food took a long time to come out also - luckily we weren't in a rush. The food was very good. Menu available here https://kogirva.com/house-bowls We had the bulgogi bowl and the Katsu chicken bowl. The bulgogi bowl was delicious! The only thing I wasn't as crazy about was the kimchi. While I have the occasional kimchi, I'm definitely not a connoisseur. I think we'll need to give Kogi another shot when they're less busy.

I found this spot as it was a casual place near our hotel. J Kogi has great happy hour specials, great beers on tap, local brews. We ordered the tofu wrap and hubby got the bulgogi rice bowl. I loved my tofu lettuce wrap. There was a perfect amount of spiciness. While the food was good, the restaurant interior really left nothing to be desired. Inside looks rather tired with vinyl floors that didn't look like it was ever mopped. Overall, food is good, hh drinks even better, however don't stay too long inside the restaurant.

I love Korean food, so came here with some friends. It's a hole in the wall, with a nice vibe. Limited seating, so we sat at the bar. I ordered the bulgogi bowl with an egg. It looked great, but tasted pretty average. There was not much rice, and the rice wasn't done right. Normally the rice on the outside, next to the bowl, cooks to a crunch. Not so here. I think they added too much water. In fairness, there was a good amount of meat. And the egg ($2 extra) was executed well (runny yolk). I walked away very full. But there were too many key negatives to offer more than three stars.

Went here on a Sunday night, right before closing but thankfully they were accommodating to our rather large group. Menus are done on your phone via QR codes-- only wish is that it would be on one page with tabs for different categories (kinda like meal delivery service) rather than 3 separate pages. Ordered Soy Garlic wings-- came with 5 very sticky wings-- the flavor was really nice, though it could've been crispier. And the price was not bad either!

It says there are vegan options. I was wondering if someone can tell me what those are besides the veggie dumpling?

I believe the veggie kimbap is vegan!

The cauliflower wings were HUGE and the whole table enjoyed them. My partner got the vegan artichoke ("GWARtichoke") burger with tofu ricotta and that was awesome too. Our friend got the tofu banh mi and enjoyed it as well. And there are several more vegan options we didn't get to try this time. Will definitely be back. The atmosphere is.. GWAR! Very neat. And they have a parking lot which is so convenient. Did not love the plastic silverware in little disposable packs. (For dining in, real metal utensils are much appreciated pleeeease). Service wasn't super friendly but maybe it's part of the GWAR schtick (they weren't mean at all, just not the most hospitable). We didn't mind anyway. The food came out fast and they got all our orders right. You order at the bar so it's not like you have a server anyway.

There was not enough lettuce to match the onions that they piled on. Also everything was in single use containers, they really could be better about using better dishes. Service: A dive bar, you order at the counter and they bring to your table. Mostly a QR code and difficult to track down a menu. Ambiance: A dive bar, again. The walls are covered in decor from Gwar and it was decently busy on an early Saturday evening. Loudish music, but the people were friendly. Would come for a drink if I am in the area, but skip the food.
