Popped up to Acworth recently on the search for some nice dress pants for an event and of course Kohl's is on the short list of places to swing through. This Kohl's is off to it's self and sits directly on Cobb Parkway. Parking is not an issue, as this Kohl's has this ginormous lot all to itself! So, if you don't find a parking spot, you didn't try at all. Like most Kohl's the store was well kept, organized and clean. Condition wise you could see the age of the store on the flooring, ceiling and in the dressing room, but it was just your normal wear and tear of a retail spot. Speaking of dressing rooms, that is the only place that was a little off, as it was piled with clothes that had not been ran back to the racks. Not sure if they hit it once a day, but if so...that makes for a long night for whoever gets that duty! I have noticed that Kohl's has dropped stock in Men's formal wear as they majority of the items available are flat colors and separates instead of patterned and sets. The sets don't bother me, but I did want a little pop in my slacks or jacket, but sadly could not find it at this location. Overall, I am a Kohl's fan and even have the credit card to prove it. I do not frequent this part of town, but when in need or in the area, this Kohl's is a solid spot to shop. read more

First visit was on Black Friday we were dreading it. We drove down from Denver NC (20 miles NW of Charlotte) to spend Thanksgiving with my Son's and their Families and to kick-off the Christmas Holidays. Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Kennesaw which is close to Town Centre Mall where we go each year (except last year because of Covid) for the Grandkids to meet Santa. My wife says she always forgets to pack something and when we got up the next morning (Black Friday) we discovered she forgot to pack my underwear or at the briefs. Time for a quick run to the store and when I asked her where she wanted to go, she said Kohl's since that is where the rest of my underwear came from. Quick search on Google and we found this store which was only about 5 miles away and also about 2 miles from Truist (formerly BB&T) which we also wanted to hit. Found it easily. Store was busy but not packed but for Black Friday, they had been open since 5am. Good selection and with six registers open, shopping was a breeze. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not sure if they if they are like this the rest of the year but they sure made a great impression of one of the most hectic shopping days of the year. Very well organized and staffed. read more

Solid Kohls location. They are a smaller store so they don't have as much of a selection, but they are clean and the isles are clear.

I actually visited here twice, the first time to do some last minute Christmas shopping and the second time was the visit I'm describing below. This location is like a lot of other Kohl's, it has great deals on the clearance racks as well as deals on regular racks where the price is marks down a certain percentage. This visit I picked up some pillows for my bed on the cheap and a long sleeve button up shirt that I really like. They have a great selection of candles, especially if you like Yankee Candle. The lines can be brutal but I've discovered even when they are super long you can bypass them with out cutting by checking out in the jewelry section if the jewelry associates are not busy helping other customers. Overall this is a great Kohl's, I definitely recommend it I you're in the Acworth area and I will probably be back at least one more time before I go back to Louisiana. read more

Just stopped in to see what I could get with the remaining $19 on my gift card. Pleasantly, I found something I needed, but didn't know they carried, make-up:). Product purchased was originally $29.50 & I scooped it up $14. Score! Sandra at check out was very sweet. This store has a ton of inventory, so if you're coming to do some serious shopping & you truly love your husband, I suggest leaving him at home or at least dropping him off at Huey Louie's next door so he can watch a game. There are some miserable looking guys wandering around in this place. Well layed out & easy to navigate. Checkout appears to have long lines, but they are quick to get you on your way. The card and my husbands card between the both of us we had a Kohl's credit of over $8000 close the accounts to put in a Gunite swimming pool got the pool finished women today tried to open up another Kohl's account and they denied me. LOL. Obviously they took offense for me closing the card but what I told them was one it was because of COVID-19 not being able to go out and go shopping and number to the bank suggested I close our credit cards with a zero balance. Quite pathetic that they would be holding that against me I guess I'll go back to shopping at Macy's they obviously don't want my money read more

A few days ago, I went to the local Kohl's store to mail back an Amazon return. No surprise, the Amazon desk was in the back of the store. I fell right for the trap and on the way out, I bought two Citizen watches. I collect watches and own about two dozen. As soon as the associate I bought the watches from took out the Citizen boxes, I could tell they were of poor quality - and no relation to the watches (ie, no model or serial number). Sure enough, when I got home and took the watches out, one of the boxes fell apart. Literally fell apart. Today, I went back to ask for a new box. That's all. I was first sent to the jewelry dept who had nobody there. Then I was sent to the return/exchange desk (no idea why since I love the watches and only wanted to exchange one of the boxes). The return/exchange dept sent me back to the jewelry dept. When I got there, there was someone waiting for me whom I hadn't yet talked to about the exchange. The associate couldn't find the keys to the jewelry boxes and then left me for another 20-25mins. When she came back, she let me know she'd talked to 'management' and they would not only not be exchanging my Citizen watch box nor for any other. Sorry. See you later. Where the 'management' was is a complete mystery. Completely missing in action. Note, I don't shop at Kohl's often. Their product quality matches their service. But today, I didn't even get bottom of the barrel customer service. Do yourself a favor, do not shop at this location. In fact, don't shop at this chain at all. There are better options out there that are willing to earn your business. read more

Found a clearance item in toys that had been sitting there for months due to "missing pieces" (marked on package). This week, found it retagged for less than $1, labeled with the SKU and marked final sale due to missing pieces. Took it to the register and they pulled off the tag and said they couldn't sell it to me for that price. I asked why and they said, "there's no way we would mark something that low." They implied that I made the sticker and put it on the toy. They told me they would sell it to me for 25 times the price it was ticketed..."take it or leave it." I left it. Horrible, horrible experience. Don't treat me like a thief when I did NOTHING wrong! Honor your own prices! read more

Despite getting frequent coupon offers in the mail, I am almost always denied the opportunity to use them because they won't discount most name brand products. When I ask the employees why it is that they won't accept my coupons, I hear what you would expect, "That is just what Kohl's and the manufacturers have decided to do." Finding an employee who knows about the department where he is working is tough, just as it is with retailers in general. read more

Got a gift card from neighbor, her son ruined my running shoes. I have no idea why she picked Kohl's for shoes. What a nightmare. Spent an hour, I wear 7.5 womens, trying to find a pair. No one in the department, mostly size 5 or 10, very disorganized. Finally found a pair. Later noticed pair did not have enough lace up holes. Went to exchange - they got me another pair. I put them in the bag and left. Two days later I find that pair does not fit - different then size on box. Went to the Hiram, Ga. store. No luck there. No shoes in 7.5 in like in 6 different styles so back to Acworth, Ga. store today. They brought me back the same shoes I returned with the off lace up holes!! Tried on like 8 pairs of other shoes trying to find a pair (Kohl's will not give cash for gift card so I HADTO FIND SOMETHING! was longing for Sports Authority!). While trying on shoes an elderly female customer plops down next to me with a cart with like 20 pairs of shoes. She starts pushing all my shoes off the bench - the other side of the bench was totally clear. She stated she didn't know they were my shoes and proceeded to tell me ALL the things wrong with her feet. Then she starts waving her feet around asking for opinions on her shoes - wants to know it the are "casual" or "dressy" - Yikes!! - she was barefoot - totally gross feet with long misshaped toes, big discolored toenails, - she was obviously trying to get me to leave so she could have the whole bench to try her shoes on . . and it WORKED!! Why would anyone act like that is public?? I told the sales clerk that the customer was trying on shoes with no socks or hose on. She told me they have foot covers for this situation but there is no way she can force the customer to use them. In short, she did nothing - I could not even see any footies around for customers to use - TOTALLY AGAINST HEALTH CODE. This salesgirl was getting the women more shoes to try on and was fully aware. It will takes weeks to get that image out of my head. I would advise against trying on any size 10 dress shoes at this store unless you bring some Lysol spray. Paid for my shoes and left. Gross. The staff seemed to not care that I could not find shoes, kept suggesting I use the gift card to buy clothes or cookware. Never again, I have no idea how this store stays in business, shoe selection is poor, the clothes selection is great if you like lime green and bright blue and their housewares are way overpriced. I read the other reviews - I really question if they ever really shopped here at all. read more
