All of the people saying this Kohls is a mess are not lying. The clearance racks in this store have zero organization. The sizes and style have no order and many items are on the wrong sized hangers or on the ground or on top of the rack. Still, with a lot of time and patience I was able to walk out of here with new sweaters for me and my husband and a cheap pair of pants for under $30 total, so take the good with the bad I guess. read more

kohls is always about the same. I did learn the hard way not to forget your phone when picking up on online order... 200 boxes and not sorted alphabetical order anything. but, I see that it would have been very easy to find my stuff had I remembered my phone. read more

My fiancée and I just left Kohl's, and let me tell you, the irritation is palpable. First we went into Sephora to find his cologne. We looked around for about five minutes whilst several employees ignored us. Realizing that we would not be getting help from the employees pretending to dust, we went back into Kohl's proper to look at jewelry. Again, no employees felt the need to help us. My experience here was great. I had a short stop in Michigan and always look forward to finding bargains in the clearance racks. I started by going to the customer service counter and getting a Kohl's charge card so I could get 30% off that day. I was able to get it done in less than five minutes. Friendly lady at the counter. I was impressed with how organized the store was. The clearance racks were more or less sorted by size. That isn't always the case. When it came time to check out, the line was 5 people deep but in a very short time, two other registers were opened up and the line moved quickly. Cashier was friendly. I have never taken the time to write a bad review. I have taken the time to write a good review. I had to take the time to write this awful review! I ordered 2 pairs of boots for my granddaughters for Christmas 2 weeks ago. 1 week later I get an email that they cancelled the order because they no longer had them, yet they had them when I ordered 2 weeks ago. Now my frustration is over the top!! Again I was dumb enough to try Kohl's again. I went on line to order the dress, but the shipping was outrageous. So I tried contacting customer service and was told they don't ship to the store. I would have to order from the kiosk at the store. So I drive 20 miles in a snowstorm to order the dress. 5 days later I get an email, they had to cancel the order, out of stock. How can you run a business in this way? I can't believe how difficult it is to shop at kohls when not 100% mobile! Recently tried shopping here while on crutches - it's a joke. The clothing racks are jammed together and there are often rack/pedestal bases jutting out into the thoroughfares that catch the crutches. The racks in the middle of the main walkways made getting around difficult as well. Unfortunately there was no amigo of handicap-accessible carts so I ended up having to kick around/push with my stomach one of the available carts. It must have been a fun sight, seeing as multiple employees were just staring. I don't often shop at kohls (mostly due to limited size options for plus sizes in store) but was there with my spouse for his clothes. Needless to say, I'm going to be trying to get him to shop elsewhere. Really disappointed. read more

I find Kohls to be hit or miss on stock, cleanliness, and service. The store was very clean, clothes neatly on the racks. The size selection wasn't very good, which made shopping difficult. The cashiers weren't very friendly about telling me who was open... So we didn't get much. read more

I would really like to complete a survey based on my experience but I didn't get that option with my receipt (or, more likely, the cashier didn't give it to me). I was in for a quick trip, the place was not busy as it can sometimes be, and I didn't have to wait in line to check out. The girl who was my cashier was talking to another cashier as I walked up, and she did go to a register to check me out but she did not return my smile or seem pleasant toward me in any way. I know she could be a nice person because she was smiling and joking with the other cashier. I have worked retail and I get that you don't always like your customers, but the girl didn't even try to be nice. I told her I didn't want the hangers that my clothes were hanging on, I tried to get them off before handing them to her but she got to some before I did. I think she took 1 thing off the hanger and I found 2 in my bag, so didn't listen or care about my request. I didn't have a coupon so she just set the box of scratch offs down and didn't say a word; luckily I did know what to do, but it was pretty rude. In the end, she was just an unpleasant person to me, enough so that I really don't want to shop there again. Enough so, that I really wanted to come home and fill out a survey to complain about her. I am not a person who writes reviews most of the time, but this was just unacceptable behavior. I'm already not a huge fan of going to Kohl's and this girl's attitude just made it even more unappealing. The sad thing is, as I'm writing this, I realize a very nice person folding clothes said "hi" and was very smiley. I forgot all about it because my last memory, the person who checked me out, was so rude. So is every employee at the store bad? Of course not, but as a cashier you have to remember that you're the last face and final experience a person gets from your store; being unpleasant negates anything that anyone else did to make that person enjoy the experience. I didn't want to write a whole bad review for the store, but I will say this is not the first time a Kohl's cashier at the Brighton store was terrible. I've had worse. This was just the icing on the cake. There may be some employees that need a review on what customer service entails because come this Christmas, I am not going to encourage anyone to shop there, not after being treated that way. read more
