As I was walking towards the door to leave someone finally asked if they could help me and I said it was too late at that point and proceeded to walk out the door. We love this store. Great men's fashion with consultants to help size and coordinate adding some color and style in your wardrobe. We typically visit on Black Friday for the amazing sales. We always get someone that is personable and helpful. We left excited, with a ton of new clothes for my husband to incorporate into his closet. The store is off Lee road in Green Oak Village Place shopping plaza. We always get great service and it's never too busy. Take a trip, get some lunch and let the personal shoppers work for you. After taking my measurements, I would not expect to get a shirt where I can fit 3 pillows under the front. If you just look at me, you can see that I would need a slim fit. I think your process of handing the customer his package and telling them to go in the dressing room to try it on, then having the customer package and hang it all up themselves is very poor service. You are adding no more value to your service as if I was picking up my laundry from a laundry service. To top it off, the bowtie smelled like sweat. Very disgusting. I think your service has gone down the wrong path over the years. read more

Worst shoes I've ever worn in my entire life, I've had better $20 shoes at Walmart that looked better and felt more comfortable. I was late by the day returning my clothes because I'm a fire fighter and had to work a 24 hour shift the next day after the wedding, and they made sure to give me a late fee and would not waive it. They did, however cut it in half. I will never return here, they screwed up so many things among all the groomsmen. read more

The reason to go to a nice store to get clothes is to get expertise on the fit, but almost everything I bought here will have to be adjusted after purchase just to be wearable. I informed the employee multiple times on items I thought didn't fit well and each time was told "I'd get used to it" or "It won't feel that way after XYZ". All the shirts I bought have the necks far too tight, one of the pants is too tight around the waist, and they actually just gave me the wrong box of shoes. "Meh. I've experienced better." seems wholly appropriate. read more

We purchased two suits and rented five tuxedos for my daughter's wedding. The purchase of the suits was a 5-star experience. The sales representative did an excellent job helping us find the just the right suits and they were tailored just right when we returned to pick them up. However, the experience with renting the tuxedos was a zero-star experience. First, the measurements were completely off for two of the tuxedos and another was not pressed correctly. So they had to be redone and we were required to return the next day to pick them up, just in time for the wedding. I asked about these issues (when my husband picked up his tuxedo), the gentleman smirked and said these are common problems, especially with it also being prom season, and didn't see any cause for concern. Then there was a problem with ties not matching (one tuxedo was picked up at the Ann Arbor location), discovered later, so we ended up purchasing bow ties from Kohl's at the last minute so all of the men matched. Lastly, there was the return of the tuxedos. Someone in the wedding party put the wrong shoes in their bag and it was returned to the store. Instead of putting Men's Wearhouse shoes in the bag, he put my husband's personal shoes in the bag. Unfortunately, the store shipped out the tuxedos to Texas almost right away and did not check the bags first to make sure the right items were in the bag. They only felt the bag to make sure shoes were there. This is one is our fault, but the customer service I received from the Brighton store in trying to retrieve the shoes was deplorable. Instead of offering to help with the situation, I was talked down to and quoted the contract three times. Three times. I know the contract and I know I'm responsible. I just wanted a little help. The good news is that when I called the corporate office, the customer service gentleman was helpful and kind. I still don't have the shoes, but hopefully I will soon. He promised to look once the bags reached Texas. I was given a reference number and will follow up if I don't hear back soon. The lesson for me is to rent from local companies. This wouldn't have been a problem with a local tuxedo shop. The bag would have still been in the store. This is our third child to marry. The first two rented locally and we received excellent customer service -- no issues with rudeness, bad tailoring, poor pressing, or wrong ties. We still have four single children and Men's Wearhouse will not get our business when it comes time for them to marry. And, if asked, we'll certainly let our friends know about our experience when they're in need of tuxedo rental. UPDATE: Still no shoes. The customer service representative gave me erroneous information. I'm now being told that it will be three weeks before someone can check the bag for my husband's shoes. read more

I am completely dissatisfied with the shirts that I purchased and had tailored through the store in Brighton, MI. I recently purchased an athletic cut suit jacket and pants for my son's wedding along with 4 shirts, belt, shoes, 4 ties and tie clip. The salesperson suggested purchasing and tailoring a 4x shirt due to needing a 20" neck size. When I picked up the shirts and tried them on for the first time the shirt hung down almost to my knees, it was very bulky around the middle and sloppy under the arms, not what I would consider a good fit. They tailored the shirts a second time and besides shortening them up they are still sloppy under the arms; it looks like I have wings and too baggy around the middle. I would have thought a store that sells athletic cut suits would also carry athletic cut shirts. It's ironic that their rewards program is called "Perfect Fit". In hindsight, I realized a 4x shirt was a terrible choice for the salesperson to recommend, it would never be tailored to fit properly. I would like to return all 4 shirts and seek reimbursement for the shirts and tailoring, so I can purchase new shirts that fit properly. I sent the same concern to MW customer service and was told I need to talk to the manager at the store. What's the point of having customer service if they do not help you? read more

I thought buying the wedding dress was a special part of the wedding planning process but our sales rep made the experience of picking out the right tux a great time for the both of us. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My stepfather rented a tuxedo and fitted not once but twice just before the nuptials. When he put the tuxedo on the day of the wedding it was completely the wrong size. Actually it looked like he was borrowing someone else's suit for his own sons wedding. I had a horrible experience at this location when I went in to set up rentals for my wedding. They assigned a younger, acted like he was new, guy to "help" set this up. Every question I had was followed up by "I don't know". When we finally got the type of suit picked out, we started looking at colors. They didn't have the colors I needed in the store. He then told me to go to Jos. A Bank down the road. I took his advise and went to Jos. A Bank and got everything set up in half the time I spent at Men's Wearhouse with much better service. read more

Eager to solve any issue I had and corrected a pant length on the spot. Friendly, good quality and decent prices during their sales. This isn't a low end shop. ALL 3 tux measurements done at this location were completely wrong and tuxes all had to be adjusted at pick-up time. Pants were too long, shirt sleeves did not even match, jacket was too small. Groom had to rush the morning OF the wedding to get a replacement jacket. We selected Black by Vera Wang, the most expensive tux set there for $250/each and we got poor quality service and product. Groom's shoes' sole came off and tore off as he was getting dressed for event, so he was not able to walk or dance at his own wedding. When we returned our tux rentals and complained about all the mishaps and all the mistakes made by Men's Wearhouse, all they did was give us credit for ONE shirt size being wrong and ONE shoe rental for the shoes falling apart. A total credit of $44 when we rented a total of 6 tuxes and paid $250/each for them. Horrible. At least one tux rental should have been comped or maybe a free dress shirt/dress pants... something! The other men got their tuxes measured and picked-up at other locations and NOTHING was wrong. Nobody at this location knows what they are doing nor are willing to make their mistakes right. The tux rental manager Olivia stated if we had called her from the wedding about the groom's shoes, she would've personally driven a replacement pair to the wedding venue. First of all, that was never disclosed to us as an option for any "day of" emergencies and secondly, WHO HAS TIME during their WEDDING to be making a phone call like that to fix something that should've been checked before the rentals were picked up?! The shoes should've been examined to make sure they were not falling apart, broken or defective. Unbelievable. NEVER recommending and taking back all my recommendations sent to my friends already. NO THANKS. The ONLY glitch during our entire wedding planning, process and event. Too bad. read more

The store is fine, and the people are friendly and helpful. But you have to be very careful about what you buy because the quality is uneven. Men's Warehouse marks clothing up in order to mark it down, and if you're not experienced then you can easily overpay for shoddy merchandise. The "designer" suits use lower quality fabric. The jeans will shrink, even with very gentle care, and even if you follow the washing instructions. A "$40" t-shirt is more like a $4 gas station shirt after the first washing. I'd go three for $10 on the "$70 ties." The dress shirts are actually okay, provided you only buy at a steep discount. The greatest advantage there is the ability to buy several different fitting styles. read more

Went here to buy suits for me and my two friends. We were greeted by a lady who asked what we were looking for. We said suits for a wedding, she then said she would get a sales associate. This young man walks over to us next and asks us why we're here. My friend says he's getting married. The sales person sarcastically replies "no you're not". My friend and I both give each other a confused look, as in "did he really just say that?". A second associate joins us and again asks why we're here, this time we get a more appropriate response when we mention the wedding. But instead of helping us find a suit she directs us back to the original girl who greeted us! This girl proceeds to tell us we can only pick from 4 different suits because we're in a wedding. (There were only 3 of us). We asked them questions as to why we cannot pick from the hundreds of suits they have on the wall... Again it's because we're in a wedding that we can only pick from 4 styles on an end rack. Finally, a 4th lady allows this girl to let us look at the other suits, but instead of assisting us, she just says ok, let me know what you like. This was the worst experience I have ever had shopping, ever. I had better service at JCP from an associate that doesn't work on commission. We ended up leaving quickly and went to the Men's Warehouse in Novi where a more professional associate assisted us in purchasing a great suit. Stay away from this Men's Warehouse. The staff is unprofessional, and not ver knowledgeable. read more
