Had to make a trip inside a Kohl's to make an Amazon return. The store is pretty clean and there is a Sephora right when you walk in. They are smart for putting the Amazon return area at the back of the store, so that you are having to skim through their products as you make your way to the back. There seems to be some cool Holiday gift sets for adults, like whiskey glasses. I may pop back in to browse their gift section and may make a purchase at Sephora since this location was empty, something that never happens at the Cerritos mall. read more

WOW!! Went to Kohl's last week with my mom and we went when they opened around 9ish. I can't for the life of me remember the lady who cashed us out, but WOW! She was fantastic. She was personable, friendly, helpful, attentive, held a conversation all while working. You don't see that anymore! The store was clean, the dressing rooms, too. I usually fight my mom on going there, because I've come across mainly rude employees, but not this time. I will go out of my way to go there again a just to see this lovely lady. When I get her name I will update. I bought 3 pairs of pants on sale from $34.99 to $22, 2 Vera Wang blouses $34.99 on sale for $24.99, 2 bras at $48 each and 3 pair of parties $10ea. Kohls is a great place to find affordable and cute outfits for the entire family. For the summer we took a family vacation and needed outfits for our family photos. I was able to find my dress and my son's outfit to complete the beach vibe. As a frequent shopper, I have my favorite Kohl's stores and this is one of them. The best time to shop would be when they have their clearance sales with an extra percent off their sales. We recently went in store to pick up an online order and their sales were still an extra 50% off clearance. If you are fortunate to receive a coupon during their clearance sales from the Kohl's app, your savings will be the best value for your buck. Coupons are only applicable to selected merchandise. If you are new to Kohl's shopping, you are able to stack two types of coupons a percentage off and dollar off coupons. NOTE: The dollar off coupon is applied first followed by the percentage off coupon. However, not all merchandise is eligible for coupons (usually brand names). Your purchase does allow you to earn and redeem Kohl's Cash and Kohls Rewards on the products. Kohls Cash is an incentive for customers to purchase more to earn a certain dollar amount for your purchase at a later date. Is it worth it? Depends. With kids, I find it difficult to shop in stores. Most of my shopping is done online and shipped to the house. For clothes, I prefer to try them in stores. When an item is unavailable, you can always scan them on the app and try your luck finding it for an online purchase or other store location. Recently, Kohls stores have remodeled all their locations. They now offer self-checkout. At the Cerritos location, they moved their online pickup orders to the front registers. The Amazon returns have been moved to the back location near the restrooms. Customer service is just OK. I had a horrible customer experience with a cashier. There was no one in line for the in-person cashiers and she had her back turned from the counter. When she turned around she immediately said, "Are you paying either credit or debit card?" And I said yes so she immediately says to go pay at self-checkout even though no one is line. I tell her sorry and I just had a question about this item. I say, "I found it in the clearance rack and it's suppose to have three bras and only has one on it. Will the price be $30 for it still?" She seems irritated with me and says the price should be there already. (It isn't) So she rings it up and immediately is upset with me and says why did you say it was on clearance? I say I found it in the clearance rack and it only comes with one bra so that's why I was asking about the price of it. She is still mad and says well it's not on clearance and points and says you can find this bra in the regular section most likely with all three bras. So I put my hands up and say ok well that's just where I found it and I leave. I don't understand why I had to be treated with unkindness due to the lack of organization and placements of items in a store. At Target, they always price match and help figure out prices for items that are missing and apologize for any mishaps and I don't have to look at the front of the store for help. I immediately left and will not be returning. I don't know the name of the cashier but she was an older African American women with a more full body figure at the Cerritos location on a Thursday evening. read more

Kohls is a fraud company! I purchased 2 dresses opening up new credit card to get discount and i returned 2 dresses the next day. I cannot believe I get the bill statement from credit card that i have to pay for the 2 dresses with late fee interest cuz i didn't pay. I called credit card company and representative saying she doesn't know if I returned the dresses, are you serious! , and she said she can wave some fees but pay only $35. After 2 months i received another bill statement that my balance is $95. I never experienced something like this with any other stores. I'm going to kohls again to talk to manager... First time at this Kohls location and it was a good experience. I was able to dim what I was looking for easily as all the clothes were displayed nicely and well organized. The fitting room areas were clean and staff were diligently putting clothes back on the racks. There's a self checkout section here so you don't have to wait in line. Plus I was greeted by several employees and they asked if I need any help with my shopping experience. There's also a large Sephora store inside here so I got to browse some makeup items as well. I shop at this specific store because I live about 3 minutes away. Amazon returns rep Norma was EXTREMELY rude. It's clear she hates being there, however the supervisor JASON WAS WORSE. I called the store about an hour after I was there and told him of my experience, and he said he hates the fact they do Amazon returns and wishes the process was easier. He also made sure to tell me that Kohls does Amazon returns as a courtesy to customers. It has nothing to do with the fact that there is a business deal between Amazon and Kohls. Smh, I will not be returning there. It's too bad, I enjoyed the one stop shop. I typically end up shopping in the store on the way out so this will be better for me to stop going there altogether. Jan 2 2025, around 9:00 am I was there at store (Koh'ls cerritos town center) returning items I bought at Amazon. And I was next in line when I heard the supervisor (Jason) complaining that Patrick is zipping starbucks coffee. Jason said: are you on your break Patrick said: no Jason: why you taking starbucks coffee. Drink coffee only when you are on your break. Do you want to take a break, I can cover you right now! Patrick: no, i'm not going to take a break Jason: ok, put away your coffee I thought that was rude (not to mention the way Jason talk, his tone is sounds very superior) 1st Jason is talking loud in front of the customer (me), this is very rude to talk like that in front of the customer. 2nd is I can't believe you can't take or sip a coffee while you are working (coffee is just like water and it help you keep going) 3rd, it doesn't bother me as a costomer if I see employee drinking coffee or sipping water. I have respect to the Kohl's company (employees) until now. The reputation of kohl's now for me is very low (particular to this store at 12821 Towne Center Dr.). I went to Sephora and received the worst service ever. The lady who helped me claimed to be the manager. She was a heavy set woman named Maricol. I went in looking for a foundation and she rudely told me it was being phased out and they don't carry it in store. I asked her if she could assist me with color matching for a new line. She became annoyed and began to help me. As soon as she saw a customer she offered to assist them and left abruptly, although there was another employee available and the store was empty. I asked her if she could provide me with a sample of setting powder so I could try it at home with a new concealer I was purchasing and she refused. She said, "I don't do that." I asked her multiple times if she could clarify what that meant and she kept repeating to that this is something she does not do. She also said she couldn't give me a sample because there was no way for her to get the powder out of the container. For anyone who wears make up, we all know that setting powder is loose and there's no reason why she couldn't scoop it out of the container. Then I informed her that it was never an issue at my local Sephora and she said it was against store policy. I then told her it was fine that I would go ahead and take my birthday gift (because it is my birthday month) and purchase my makeup that I had. She said they were completely out of every birthday gift. Sephora always has multiple gift types available so for them to be completely out of every single gift was obviously not true and this was not reflected on their display. Maricol was disrespectful and discriminatory to me the moment I came into the store and refused to provide me with service and denied me my birthday gift. I'm not sure what's wrong with her but it seems she had a personal issue. I was never rude to her or disrespectful I just walked out empty handed. I left and immediately went to another Sephora were I received excellent service, was given a sample of the same exact product Marciol said she just didn't want to give me, and I got my birthday gift with great service. Shame on you Maricol for treating me like that when I came in kind and looking for some help. BUT, I walked into the Sephora to ask about this one specific Saie blush that I have been searching ENDLESSLY FOR GOING TO ALMOST 4 DIFFERENT STORES. These past 4 years I've been coming and I step foot into this Sephora and I'm greeted with the nastiest and rudest behavior. Kohl's Cerritos store is very organized and you'll find a lot of good deals. I went to this location Sunday, 09/22/24 as it was the last day for the 40% deal. I had to stop at the restroom before finishing my shopping. To my dismay, the women's bathroom was horrible! There were no toilet seat covers on all the stalls and a couple of stalls were totally dirty and not flushed. Out of all the stalls, only one had toilet paper which was almost gone. Paper towel rolls were on the counter and the floor had some soiled paper towels. I got out and brought the situation to the guy at the customer service desk who was busy tinkering with his cellphone. He said they're aware of the situation and someone would be coming the next day to clean it up and at that moment there's nothing he can do! Seriously? I have been to other Kohl's stores and their bathrooms are well maintained and every stall has toilet seat covers and toilet paper. I didn't see any note in the bathroom regarding the schedule for cleaning the bathroom and a note to the customer to bring to management's attention if the bathroom condition was unacceptable. I just want a reasonable price and not have to dig for coupons, unless your into that..I bought some pricey silicone teethers that I then found at later found at marshals for $7.99 each regular price. They close at 8:55 & Amazon apparently shuts down at 8:55. If you call and ask what time Amazon closes they'll tell you 9pm but you get there at 8:53 in a rush & they're doors are closed they'll tell you that this is a nightly thing that they have never been open til 9pm. So that's great. Drove 15 min to get here in a rush - made it earlier & couldn't do what I was told I could do. So don't bother checking in with them because there's no point since they don't understand how to communicate. If they would have said over the phone that - I wouldn't have bothered. I wouldn't BE bothered. Obviously, if someone calls at 8:40 asking what time you close for Amazon - communicate that you and they close at 8:50ish & gone by 8:55 every night as she said. No one was apparently even at the Amazon counter anymore - they said they left completely already and it was 8:53. Very unprofessional. read more

There is a young white guy (didn't catch his name) today 2/18/24 was horrible and rude. He gave me a real hassle about one of my returns and even cursed while he was speaking me. You can tell he was frustrated like I was inconveniencing him. When I called Amazon about the issue of the return he wouldn't do something about him having a problem of the way the return was set up on the bar code. Amazon said he shouldn't have turned me away. In short: Do not shop at Kohls online! When you return a broken item and take it in a store they do not give you your shipping fee back. You have to call Kohl's customer service and have a 45 min phone call to get back your $8.95 delivery charge. Long version: I bought a new knife set for Christmas online with help from my Kohl's cash. It arrived late, ok, I understand that with it being the holidays. The fancy name plate that says the fancy name, Sabatier, was upside down. I decided it was easier to go in person to return it, rather than call and have to go to the post office. I was wrong. I go to the store and, at the end of the return, get told that I am getting $8.95 less than what I originally paid. Why? I pull up the email receipt. The totals are different. She calls the manager over. She tells me that they don't refund shipping in store, that I have to call customer support. I ask for the number. She tells me to Google it. She can't even give the number. The manager tells me to Google it! Suffice to say that the only ones in stock are $200, so no possibility of a straight up trade. Suffice to say that after a 45min phone call I was told I'd get my $8.95 back in 7-10 days. I left the store after raising my voice and telling the manager that that is a stupid policy and that their advertisement of "hassle free returns" is a complete lie. read more
