Before Kohls came to my hometown, this was the first Kohls store that we went to. Have to say that it looks the same as before. Can't help but compare them to their counterparts. Like the other branches, good deals to be found here especially if you check out their Clearance sections. Staff was helpful. Shop was clean and well lit. Yay! for the percentage off scratch offs whenever I use my Kohl's card. Yay! for the Kohl's cash back whenever I spend $50 or more (sssshhhhhh!!!!) Boo! for when I forget to use my cash back coupon before the expiration date. And btw... The best way to use the Kohl's cash is to find an item that is closely priced to your cash back amount. I can find absolutely everything for my family and home here! And since I'm so used to shopping in smaller stores (malls irk me...) this place is Perfect! Some of the blouses I've bought here, I've received plenty of compliments on how pretty they are. Brands range from Vera Wang, Jennifer Lopez, Lauren Conrad, Levi's, and their own brand, Apt. 9. Easy wash and wear items, I can always find my size. An exception to the size issue would be at the Levi's area. I spend way too much time trying to find a "short" pair of jeans ("regular" length is too long, even with heels on). And still on the Levi's trip, I love when they have the "buy one get one half off" sale! I buy jeans for both hubby and I when that sale comes around! I've mainly bought clothes and shoes at Kohl's. I've yet to buy any fragrance (no, thank you Justin Bieber and Nikki Manaj), and I've yet to buy any small appliances (although Santa may have done that for me!!!). I've exchanged an item (with no problems) and I've yet to return anything. My biggest dislike about Kohl's??? The lines!!! The waiting in lines can be very annoying!!! I swore I'd never come back here after getting rude customer service over a year ago. But they enticed me with a "Ten-Dollars-Off-Anything" coupon. So, with cautious optimism, I ventured back. Kohl's isn't new to the neighborhood. I regularly shop at the Towne Center for Trader Joe's, Bath and Body Works, and even Wal-mart. But I think of Kohl's after exhausting all other shopping options. Why? Slow customer service. They never have enough cashiers or lines open. And the infernal list of questions at checkout adds to that wait: "Do you have a Kohl's charge card?" "Do you want to open a Kohl's charge card to save 10% on today's purchase?" "Do you have a Kohl's Rewards Card?" "Would you like to apply for a Rewards Card today?" When they discover you don't have a rewards card you're instructed to enter your personal information on the keypad. UGH! Some people should not be let loose on a keypad in the store while others wait in line. They get too flustered. Including me . . . HOWEVER, I've been searching for active wear all over town and the internet and found KOHL's has the best Price and Selection of exercise clothing around. Pants fit like a dream and run about $20 on sale. T-shirts fit well at armhole, sleeves aren't too tight, good quality lightweight fabric at about $10 each. Women's active wear is stuck in the far corner of the store. Don't be daunted by the search. You're bound to find some nice bargains. And do apply for a Rewards Card for additional savings. read more

This Kohls store is very big, clean and organized. It is like immaculate clean. I don't think there's ever a time I've been here that I've seen one merchandise on the floor lol. Inventory is well stocked and you can find just about a variety of goods here from clothing, kitchen appliances, home decor, shoes, etc. All the associates here are very friendly and will help you with anything you need. I mostly come here because Amazon Drop-Off is here. Their Amazon Drop-Off is located in the back of the store. Before if I ever had any Amazon returns, I would go to my local UPS store, but since learning Kohls has an Amazon Drop-off station and seeing how fast and efficient they are, I come here now solely for this. read more

I would call Kohl's the Department Store that could. Not too big, not a huge selection, but all the sections you'd expect to find in the bigger Department stores are here! I'm a bit agoraphobic (am really more phobic about the crowds) so this is a good sized place. It's not as frenetic shopping here as it sometimes can get in the bigger stores. Not as classy as the cachet of a Nordstrom maybe, but it's reasonable. Good and quick lines plus you get those Kohl's bucks back to spend the next time your shop! It's in a less busy section of the Cerritos Towne Center, (that is - not close to Walmart or Trader Joe's - those two spots are a cluster**** some days). I am beyond impressed with Khol's. I made a big purchase on Black Friday and as expected the order was sent between multiple shipments. After a couple weeks I noticed the bulk of my order hadn't arrived yet. I log on and the tracking shows the label was created in Indiana. I called and was told the order was stuck in Indiana and I would get a credit because the items were no longer available. It made no sense - were my items stuck in Indians or were the items not available. I asked why wasn't I notified about the issue or the cancellation. I couldn't understand the representative due to major language barrier. She could not provide an explanation other than the items were no longer available. I was frustrated so I said I would call back at another time. I looked up some of the items online that was on that order and they were available at a higher price of course. I went into the store and the help they were able to provide is limited since the order on was online. I showed how some of the items I ordered were in stock according to the website. The store manager Stephen was able to order some of the items and did a price match for the items. He made good on the major inconvenience I encountered with this order. Maybe I'm crazy but I felt like this location just didn't have the same selection as other Kohl's I've been to. It definitely seems to favor certain styles/brands while lacking others. It made for a very uneven shopping experience. It was also quite difficult to find an employee to help my wife and I find what we were looking for. This place was one of my favorites compared to others at the Malls. I and my family loved the Kohl's, not only they always have sales, but the prices were impressive and affordable. They have almost everything in the store, from clothes to household uses to electronics. Seemed like the sales were always going on daily. You could find clothes and other kinds of stuff discounted up to 80%. Since I was a member I normally get up to 30 % discounts, besides the promotions they sometimes have like spending $50.00 you get back $ 10.00 deal. I used to buy suits, shoes, and shirts from Suit stores, now I bought my suits here at great prices. Sometimes, with the discounts and promotion wise. my stuff came out almost all free. Wouldn't you love that? I would. Even my wife was kinda surprised when I showed her the receipt. The store was always organized and cleaned, people who were working here also superb. They were there for you whenever you have questions or needed the help of any kind. Today we stopped by for shopping at this store, We saw the decorations for the falls, they actually were getting ready for Thanksgiving season. I can hardly wait for the Big Holidays coming up sales. Went in after work and picked up a few blouses for work . Went to clearence section and seen a cute dress marked from 60 to 15 so I grabbed it thinking okay seasonal . When. I was rung up . The price came out to 65$ I showed the cashier the sticker and she said it was a mistake even though I showed her where I got it and it was with all the marked down items. If I could give 0 stars I would. On 8/9/2017 around 2:20pm my two daughters and I were shopping for shoes at the kohls in Cerritos CA and my daughter had stepped on a hard tag that went through her damsel and into the bottom of her foot causing her foot to bleed. Right away I carried her to customer service. I sat her on the counter and asked for a band-aid and a manager. I cleaned the wound, filed a report with the manager and put a band-aid on her and they said someone will be calling me about the incident. I called her dr. about what had happened and I was advised to take her to urgent care to get a tetanus shot and antibiotics. We did that and spent 3 hours there. Then she had a reaction to the shot and had to see the doctors again and was not able to attend our summer activities planned the following week. On 8/10 someone from risk management called and said that they were sorry and they would replace the sandels and money for Neosporin and they would call in a week to see how she was doing. I had an horrible shopping experience with kohl's! The store basically robbed me $15!! So here is the story: I have never shopped at Kohl's before. First time I am shopping at Kohl's, I bought 2 items which come to $57 before tax, and I have earned a$15 cash coupon. Later I have used this $15 coupon when I purchased a coffee grinder it brought down the price to $38.24 which I paid cash. So my total spending for all 3 items are $95.24 (before tax). Now I have returned all 3 items (the original 2 items that I have earned the reward plus the coffee grinder which I used the coupons for), and I only get $80 cash back plus a $15 store coupon. Why can't I get all my cash ($95.24) back? They said because I have used their cash coupons. Yes, I did use the coupon, without the coupon, my cash spending would be $110.24, with the $15 coupon, my cash spending came down to $95.24. And I should receive $95.24 when I return everything. But NO, Kohl's only giving me back $80 plus a store coupon which I will NEVER use!!!!!! This is unjustified!!!!! If I could give negative stars I will!! So be cautious when you use their "rewards". It is not reward but ROBBING if you happens to return something. read more

I love all the deals during Christmas and Black Friday. Many of the items are discounted between 50-90% and it is even cheaper with coupons they send you online. When I have coupons and Kohl's cash to use they always honor it without any problems. I love that you can buy online and pick up at store - it is so convenient. The in-store pickup is a smooth process. They always have my items ready when I get there. The workers working in the customer service area are all very helpful and have nice attitudes no matter how busy they are. This store is organized and the prices are clearly labeled. The sale and clearance signs are displayed on the correct racks and they always match the prices when scanned at the register. They have plenty of clothes for men, women, and children all in current styles. The dressing rooms are also clean and they have plenty of them throughout the store. One service that they can improve on is installing more price checker. They have one in each department but when that one is broken, you have to find one at another location since they are limited. I also come here for holiday decorations. They carry plenty of Christmas decorations from ornaments to wreaths all at discounted prices. They come in different colors and themes - many of the nicer items do sell quickly so grab it while you can. They have great selections of dog toys and apparels that are Christmas themed and I prefer buying them here instead of the bigger pet store retailers. I have also done the Amazon return services and that has always been quick and easy. They do not give you a hard time when returning something they just pack it up and you are all done. read more

I love kohls. I really do. I get like half of my clothes for my daughter and I here (well the ones I dont end up getting from target) haha but this location is seriously hit and miss. It is set up in a slightly different way than most of their other locations. It doesnt help that this mall is kinda funky as well. But that isnt something that they can help. Parking can be problematic at any gift giving holiday or big night to go out to grub. Pro Tip: They have free wifi here and sometimes give coupons for connecting to the wifi! The store itself isnt the cleanest and the patrons dont often put things back where they go, thus the store is in slight disarray, but for the most part things are what you would expect from Kohls. It is also a lil bit smaller than some of their other locations. I absolutely love the discount price racks, but they have some really odd items on the clearance racks at this location for some reason the last few times I had been by. I use to work at a Kohl's store so I know about all their good clearance stuff. Never buy things at full price here. Unless you must have it. They usually go on clearance and you can get them for less than $10 -15 for most items. I use to get their small misc. stuff for $2-4 bucks. And thats the price that everybody paid, employees didn't get discount for red lined clearance items. The clearance items are always messy, but you can always find stuff. The line at the checkout can be a pain in the butt though so avoid weekends. read more

Ridiculous. Just left Kohl's about 15 mins ago & was given unacceptable service. Really needed get my mom these white converse for Christmas because that is what she asked for. Tried finding her size for 20 mins and finally found them in some white "Kohl's" box. With the size, color and brand HANDWRITTEN on them with sharpie. Also when I opened it, one shoe was dirty on top, like big scuff dirty.Now with it being the holidays I'm not trying to be picky or a a**hole but (long story short) had a manager deny a discount for the shoes because she claimed "there's not discounts on converse". I understand that but I wasn't using a coupon for the converse..I figured with those being the last pair, dirty & in NOT a converse box I would've been compensated for it. The manager insisted on having a guy find them because they looked up how many pairs were in the back and it said "4". After another 20 mins of him "trying to find them" and not getting back to me to update, I went over to the manager to see if she could radio him, she radioed him and also went back there to check, he finally kindly came up to me and said there wasn't anymore and he apologized (which was nice of him) and he also told the cashier to give me 10% off, the cashier said she tried asking the manager but the manager said no | In this time of waiting I let her take other customers|- to continue, she called another manager because I had expressed how I should get a discount for not only waiting but being lied to. Another manager came up and got radioed that the other manager found them. So I was like sweeeet let me pay. I paid, waited another 7-10 mins and another cashier got a call and told my cashier "she said we don't have the white converse". At this point I'm pisssssed. This is not right. I went back to the counter and the manager that went to double check who also is the manager that radioed manager 2 that she found them just proceeded to give me a refund. No other compensation was in question. I asked why they would say they have it after the guy said they don't because now I've been waiting SO LONG for non existent clean white converse. After that they gave me my money back I did tell them that they should've asked if I wanted to still get the shoes and at least compensate for the wait and for the dirt, but NO she reallllly didn't want to help but it's cool, it's the holidays. I didn't want to get them for my mom or anything (sike). This is by far the worst service I've received at Kohl's. I didn't want your stupid discount to get a discount, I believed I deserved a discount because everyone knows that they wouldn't pay full price for dirt on a pair of shoes and not in an actual branded box. I wanted that pair because it was LAST PAIR. Unfortunately I didn't get any names because I didn't want to use any names on here but all in all these managers are terrible, it's unacceptable to be running a business that way. Compensate where compensation is needed, for the right reasons. Shame on Khol's for not training these managers to care for their customers in the right way. Just a shame. *Also I've worked in retail and many other jobs before, there's not one time where I didn't go above and beyond for my guests'. Your job is to sell and when it comes to situations like mine you should've pushed even more. Doing online shopping and picking up your purchase at the store is a great way to save money. However, if the store is 20+ miles away, there goes your savings. I tried our Kohls, and found not all stores carry the merchandise you want, or the quantity. It seems there are designated online pick-up stores spread throughout Los Angeles, but maybe not all Kohl's can handle online purchases. It seemed take an alfully long time just to pick up socks, and I think it would have been better just to pay the shipping fees, rather than the stress. This is a no go for me in the future, so sorry Kohls, I'll be shopping more locally. read more

Every time I shop at Kohls, Cerritos, I feel like I'm going to pass out. It is so stuffy and hot! I found a blouse, but want to do more shopping, but I couldn't. I had to get out of that store. The young lady at the register said it is always hot in the store and that her co-workers often bring fans to the register. She also mentioned that the reason it is always hot and stuffy in the store is that the air is on an Ecosystem. It is just ridiculous. I'm sitting in my car trying to cool off. After visiting another Kohls (different city but might have well been a different planet) and unsuccessfully finding the right size of shirts, pants and being met with terrible (indifferent) customer serivce from their employees, I decided to give Kohls a second chance and stopped at this location on my way home. What a difference in both customer service, but size selection and cleanliness from the previous Kohls I experienced here. This Kohls was amazing. In no time did I find what I was looking for, but the employee was glad to bring my size out from their stockroom. Checkout was also surprisingly quick. I've only been to 2 Kohl's - this one & the one in Downey. This one is MUCH better. The store layout is so much easier to manage and the parking is hands down better than Downey. The store is much more organized - the clearance racks don't look like the Tasmanian devil has just left and the dressing rooms are actually decent. I had a gift card and a 20% off coupon so I my way into the store with high hopes - and I was pleased. Everything was on sale - which tends to be the norm here - and the prices were really good. I was able to walk outta there with some decent pieces for both myself & the hubs for less than $80 (thank you coupon!). I'll be back! read more

If you order online beware, the item may be canceled if another in-store customer/employee wants it. I an a nurse and work M-F 10 hours or more a day I was waiting for my day off to pick-up my order. I wake-up to a cancelled item from Kohls Cerritos via email. Now this item was fully paid for taxes and all. The order was ready on the 8th and cancelled on the 15th. I had used Kohls rewards cash and a Kohls discount coupon to buy an item I found at Walmart for the same price without the hoopla. No more Kohls for us. read more

The clerk Martha didn't want me to know who she was so she hid her badge. I had to ask her "What's your name honey ?" She told me "Martha" That manager in the front was chatting with the jewelry department clerk so I asked "Where is the clerk?" Nobody was at the check register it's like I was entering an outer space and dealing with ET. The truth is the clerk at the handbag Dept was wrong.
