The clerk Martha didn't want me to know who she was so she hid her badge. I had to ask her "What's your name honey ?" She told me "Martha" That manager in the front was chatting with the jewelry department clerk so I asked "Where is the clerk?" Nobody was at the check register it's like I was entering an outer space and dealing with ET. The truth is the clerk at the handbag Dept was wrong. Not happy with the service I received. The cashier was rude and was not helpful in explaining the price of these shoes. I was mislead as the brown pair was on sale not the black pair which was what I was purchasing. We asked to speak to a manager who was also rude. This place has the absolute worst service ever. The only reason I gave it one star is because that's the lowest you can give. One star is actually very gracious. I went here with my mom on 4-13-19 because she wanted to purchase a gift card for a family members birthday who was having a party that evening. The cashier checked my mom's $10 bill as if it was fake. Not only did she give her a hard time about it but the the manager came and said she couldn't take it because it was dirty. DIRTY??? You know Kohl's is kinda cool, i like them. I went here shopping with a girlfriend because she had a coupon she didn't want to waste. This location is at the Cerritos Towne Centre off of Bloomfield and it wasn't really crowded today. They're pretty stocked up on a variety of items, organized and had good quality. The checkout line was intimidating, i wouldn't have stayed but it went really quick. They had several cash registers open with competent cashiers i was impressed. Is that mean? Wasn't meant to be. I usually don't shop at this Kohl's, I shop at one in BP, but I searched online and found a couple things that were available here so I came here, I was waiting in line and the 2 cashiers working noticed that the line was long so they called for back up on the intercom, here come two more ladies with an attitude telling the 2 cashiers in Spanish (I speak and understand Spanish) why did you call us?? All annoyed like they shouldn't have called them and they said it in front of us CUSTOMERS! The cashier said because there's a line and blamed it on the other cashier saying she was the one who called not her. This store is pathetic, all the make-up sets are opened and touched, children are running around screaming like wild banshees. I went there with my mother to get some last minute xmas gifts. Our basket got stolen with all our stuff in it, we walked the store to see if someone took it by mistake to no avail. Lines are super long with only 2 cashiers open. I would give no stars if I could. The cashier was giving me sass the whole time. She didn't want to accept my 30% even when I was going to pay with my Kohl's charge for the full amount, and the item was not excluded. The whole time I was there I kept hearing the cashier for the men's register calling for backup and no one assisting her. Came here a while back for my new apartment shopping. Store was a mess and unorganized even though there seemed to be plenty of staff. Bought appliances, cookware, flatware, full bar and cocktail glasses everything. Spent easily over 500 dollars. As my partner and I were leaving the alarm went off and we stopped and were rushed by a loss prevention security who questioned our purchase. In the corner we had left some 10 dollar toothbrush heads that both the cashier and ourselves missed. Now to spend over 500 dollars and attempting to steal 10 dollar toothbrush was obviously a mistake. He took us to a back room where he apologized but needed to do a protocol photo and take our IDs which was fine as we were compliant but felt very comfortable as he said they usually fine people but he knew it was a mistake and assured us there would be no further action. We left, paid for the toothbrush because I did need it and laughed off the security stop as if were some criminals. Few weeks ago I recieved a $350 fine from KOHLS lost prevention and another threatening to a 3rd party collection agency. I called and spoke with a loss prevention guy named Yani who was very rude and did not awknolge nor explain anything. I'm assuming they dont have any real work to do so they are attempting to collect some extra cash by giving these "fines". What went wrong here was not only did the gentlemen that photographed us assured nothing was to go further and it was obviously an accident (why would I pay over 500 dollars and not buy a toothbrush) now I have to have my attorney investigate these "loss prevention" security guards. Obviously i will not be returning to this location and look forward to what excuse corporate will use on behalf of these loss prevention clowns. read more

Love this store specially when I get 15% off whenever I shop. It has everything I could possibly want. Staff is helpful but is hard to find. And the best thing is that the store keeps up on the trend. The place is always clean and not once did I see it disorganized. There is also always a sale either 30% or 50% I always end up buying more what I'm supposed to. I just can't help it because all I see are the ones I most likely want to buy. This Kohl's sucks I found a baby sweater in the CLEARANCE isle and I wasn't granted that price. At the register it was ringing up the triple price. They called supervisor and she didn't know what to say she inform the cashier clerk to ask the supervisor for the baby dept. she came and seen the clearance price and said to the cashier girl it's this much the cashier then informed her its ringing up a different price so then the baby dept. supervisor says to me it's this much the (triple price ) I told her I found it in the clearance isle and it has a clearance sticker I should be granted that price she said no it's already on sale so that's the price and walked away that's very Rude. When I go to target store and their items have the wrong price they grant me that price or they give me a deal. But Kohl's seriously I been coming to this Cerritos Kohl's because I like their service but after this incident I rather go else where. About 2 weeks ago their Wembley flip flops were around $12 and the regular price was aroundn $25. Now they are on clearance for $11 and the regular price is $38. I find that lie in poor taste. Also 1 star because there are at least 5 different sections that have men's flip flops and they are spread out through the store. My son was hired as "Seasonal" this past Christmas 2016. After he received ONE day of "training", he was thrown out on the floor to figure it out on his own. He worked his butt off doing whatever they asked of him. Then, after the 2nd week, he got an insulting 4 Hours of work for 2 weeks in a row, then was no longer even put on the schedule w/out so much as an explanation of whether or not he was still employed there, even to this day. He said the work environment was extremely unfriendly with unrealistic expectations of the workers. I think the management at this store SUCKS at how they treat their employees and discard them with no explanation when they are done with them. They don't treat the employees with dignity or respect. WHY they hired him to get an insulting 4 hours per week is beyond me!!! He would have taken another job, had he known this is how he'd be treated. My advice is-do not apply here!! I went into this store the other day to purchase items, and as I was looking for an item, Brittany L. came up to me and asked if I needed assistance. She was very upbeat and talkative. She executed positive energy and great customer service skills. She even rang me up at the end, and explained the Kohl's cash and the percentage off. She also convinced me to open up a Kohl's charge! She was funny, which was cool because a lot of people working retail do not seem to be this enthusiastic. I appreciate people like her, it makes my visits worth coming back for! The store was a mess and a lot of their makeup products were sold out. As I was looking at some makeup, two female employees were gossiping about their coworkers and straight up talking crap about previous customers they have encountered. I was standing right next to them; they kept talking trash even when I made eye contact with them! I've never heard employees speak in that matter while working. It was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. They're lucky that I didn't report them to the manager. I know it's the season of love... But as a retired retail personel for 17 years...Kolh's is my Target of BAD customer service. I don't usually don't shop there but I did order something online from there for Christmas. The item came with the security tag attached. Ok things happen. So I emailed them. They said take it to Kolh's to have it removed. My whole purpose of shopping online was to not deal with line, parking and crowds. But we went to a Kolh's anyway and expected to be treated with respect for our trouble and maybe even be offered a discount to buy something else. That's what Mervyn's would have done. But instead the 1st employee looked at us like we stoled the merchandise even though it was in plastic and in the shipping bag with the shipping invoice. She said, 'Go get in line over there' and pointed to a cashier. ' we said,'we are not waiting inline to have the tag removed!' Went to a cashier and asked and she barely looked at it and said you'll have to wait. Which we did and wait some more. Finally another employee passed by and we said 'hey can you help us?' And he said ok, and looked at the tag and took it off. No ,'we're sorry for the mistake, sorry for your inconvenience-here's a discount coupon' So after I finish here, going to Yelp and write to the company. Thanks for nothing. Last Night when I first stepped into the store at first glance i was so amazed that by it being so close to Xmas the store looked as neat as it did. the employees there do a great job at keeping it under control. I also would like to commend the employees that were there last night (12/20/2018) because the line was really long but they moved it along fast. once I got to the register Jessica approached me with a greeting and asked if i found everything ok. I told her that yes i did but i needed her help on another thing and she said sure what can i help with. I asked about the kohls app and kohls cash because i didnt understand how it worked and i was so tired of always forgetting my kohls cash at home or letting it expire, so she finished my transaction and took her time to explain to both my husband and I how to add it to the kohls app step by step. Im sure i frustrated her but she never made me feel uncomfortable for asking questions. She helped me so much. Now I know that my kohls cash wont get lost or expire. This store has some of the worst customer service ever. I was in store one day with my two year old when we found a children's necklace on the floor that she decided she had to have. After looking around and not finding one like it I headed to the front to see if they could assist. I waited for about 20 minutes while the poor cashier called for a manager over and over with no response. The cashier finally leaves to go search for something similar and came back empty handed just as I had. Finally a lady named Esther arrives and informed us she had never seen the necklace before but knew it was part of a set and could not sell it to me without the rest of the pieces. After questioning how she knew it was a set if she had never seen it, she tells me I can leave my name and number and in 3 days or so she will call me back after the necklace has "gone through the process" and I could purchase then. Luckily right before I exited my husband had found the matching bracelet and came running to the front with it. Not only was the necklace not part of a set but was on clearance for a few dollars. She allowed me to purchase the necklace after a 45 minute ordeal and an undesirable experience. read more

No price shown. Went to check out and was charged regular price for exercise stuff no sale price at all. I had a 15% off coupon and a "take an extra 15% off coupon "but was only allowed to use one. When I asked about that the clerk said I could only use one not very politely. So I paid and then after I got in my car realized I had been charged $16.80 for each top (my bad). So I went back inside to customer service (very slow). Finally got up to counter and she said she would have to find someone to check price and wasn't sure how long it would take I said never mind just give me a refund nothing is worth waiting for that. read more

I really wanted a women's vest to go over some shirts I had picked out. although there were no woman's vests, Steve walked me over to the where the men's vests were located. Although he only had two different brands He let me know which ones he thought were better and how the size and cuts were going to be different. Of course I bought it.
