The cafe is a good deal with $1.50 hotdogs & soda and huge slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza for $1.99. We appreciate the free samples. It's a great way to taste the product. BUT... 1. Parking is a nightmare. It's as if the whole of West Michigan ascends on this store from open until close. 2. The good deals? Hard to spot. Most items are actually cheaper from Meijer or Aldi when I do the math and subtract for bulk. 3. I keep hearing great things about their meat, but truly, there are no deals to be had. Would love to try it, but their "sales" are more like regular price +. 4. During the subscription process they try to up sell you to the executive membership for over $130! They say that way you can get money back and books trips through Costco? Ummm... okay... but why? More deals? Nothing really seems like a deal, but everyone else is acting like it. It truly worries me... do people not know how to do math anymore? Is this herd mentality? Everything is busy and a line up for free samples, cafe, gas, and checkout which makes one feel like there is a scarcity dilemma and lends toward impulse purchases. The assistant manager's lack of knowledge regarding their role and the inappropriate conversations they are having with customers and employees are concerning. Unfortunately, the situation has not improved but has instead deteriorated. Consequently, I would not recommend this store; however, I suggest exploring alternatives in nearby areas like Lansing, where my family and friends will shop. Attract employees who are dedicated to working at Bootbarn, aware of their job expectations, and focused on customer needs. How do certain employees still work here?

The managers, Crystal and Abby, worked tirelessly to track down the pants and get them delivered to me. There seemed to be a few system issues with LOFT - the return address for the pants was a strange location that the store couldn't contact easily. The 1-800 number for LOFT was not helpful at all, the system didn't seem to be integrated with the LOFT stores. I had moments of frustration, but it was totally redeemed by the effort that Crystal and Abby put in. It was their helpfulness that has made me stay a loyal LOFT customer.

Times have changed and the tech vests are no more, but $1 flip flops are making their comeback and Old Navy has plenty of patriotic gear for the Fourth of July. This location is pretty large and has a decent selection of basic clothes that I like to buy seasonally, including their luxe line of t-shirts and cute printed dresses. I've never really seen the store in disarray except for in the fitting room area, which is sort of awkwardly located in the middle of the store so there's not much space to wait in line. The employees working there have always been polite, and the long lines move quickly. I get a little annoyed with the constant badgering of "are you sure you don't want to sign up for emails / Old Navy credit card / etc." whenever I check out, but I know that's just part of working in retail. There's plenty of parking at this location, but the lot is arranged in a weird manner and usually seems kind of hectic.
