Until the Kohl's in Whittwood opens up, this is my Kohl's. I don't know when it happened but Kohl's is my favorite clothing store now. I can't walk in there without walking out with something. They have everything from clothes, to shoes, to housewares. The people that work there are very nice and try to help you find what you need. The other thing is that they always have sales going on. Last time I walked in, I came out with 10 tops, 2 bottoms, and a dress and it was less than $200. Pretty good, if I must say so myself. Kohl's clothing may not appeal to everyone. I love casual clothing that is comfortable. If you are into flashy, Forever 21 type of clothes, you may not find what you want. They do have a few clothing lines that will give you what you like. I am in disbelief that an employee told me he didn't want to check on a product for me because the area was a mess!! I was looking for a specific graphic men's shirt in an XL. The area where they have the shirts is a hot mess. They are folded however stuffed wherever they have room. They are not organized by size, design or color. It's very random. I was willing to just order online using the kiosk they have however it was not working. That is when a worker "assisted" me. He informed me there were 2 shirts. I told him I had already looked through what was out there and didn't come across any. I asked if he can check the back. He informed me they are out there somewhere. As he was calling someone else for help he said he doesn't want to go check because it's a mess plus he was off in 5 mins. I took the shirt back and said I didn't want to inconvenience him and thanked him for his help. As I was checking out, I informed the cashier of what I was told and asked if anyone can give me the item # to order it online myself, she didn't seemed fazed by the bad customer service I got and said customer service can "probably" help me. She then called the next customer in line before I even thanked her. Nobody seemed to care that I wasn't able to find anyone to help me! I guess I'll be going elsewhere with my money! read more

The staff at the La Habra location must not enjoy their jobs because I've never been greeted by anyone who smiles at this location. I'm not sure what kind of training if any is offered but eye contact, smile and greeting are basic customer service skills. So after customers wait in the longggggg lines try a smile and greeting. It might help. No wonder the average yelp rating for this location is only 2.5. Needs work!! read more

Decent place to find cheap-ish priced clothing and shoes (only if you're a Kohl's card member and have coupons! They always send coupons for 20-30% off in the mail so if you don't have those you're getting ripped off...) The reason for 3 stars is because there was no workers to be found anywhere in the store other than at the cash register... I wanted to ask a worker to help me find a size for a pair of pants (in case they had extra in the back or something) but literally could not find anyone! Also, the fitting rooms were a mess.. There wasn't any worker directing people or cleaning out the fitting rooms after people so everyone left their clothes inside and didn't clean up after themselves. Many of the fitting room locks were broken as well. read more

I've been to this Kohl's these past two days in preparation for my upcoming externship on the East Coast. Obviously, as a CA girl, specifically one whose cold weather clothes are in NorCal and only summer clothes are back home in SoCal, I needed to restock on clothes suitable to brave the East Coast weather. On day 1, I had a field day buying long sleeved tops and a couple pairs of pants. All of them were around 70-75% off. The fitting rooms were clean. There was no one working at the fitting room I used, but that's okay with me. I was able to go and try clothes without any fuss. That day alone, I saved over $200. The service was excellent, and the girl at the cashier was super patient, especially since I asked her to double check and make sure the necessary discounts were included. She even told me that if I had bought these items around Christmas time, they would have been at full priced. Yes, it is definitely worth waiting after the holiday rush. Not only was I a happy shopper with my savings, the added bonus was the Kohl's cash I received for every $50 spent. Too bad I couldn't use it until the following week; that would have helped day 2's expenses. Day 2: This was a different experience compared to Day 1. The service was slow. You can tell that the staff was short-staffed. Every person who was on call was on deck at customer service or the register. We waited in line for a good 20 minutes just to find out that the pair of pants in my size was not in a particular branch. I did get what I needed (professional attire), but the savings weren't as sweet as the previous day's haul. In the end of this 2 day shopping spree, I did manage to save way more than I actually paid. The location is also an added plus since it's roughly a 7 minute drive from home! read more

I purchased some items from Kohl's on my Kohl's card. I didn't save my receipt and they couldn't find the items when using my Kohl's card because they keep changing the last digit of the card number when they give you a new card. I returned over $270 worth of items so they said that I would need to get a corporate refund in less than 10 days. It's been 3 weeks and no refund. I called the 800 number and a recording says that they need additional information. Unfortunately they never have any customer service representatives to answer the phones so they just hang up on you. I called the regular Kohl's number and he basically just told me to keep trying to call. After leaving this review then I am going to file a case with BBB and a small claims case. I have spent thousands at Kohl's and they are going to lose my business. read more

I have been affected by covid-19 since the beginning of March. My employer has been closed and I have been calling Kohl's since the beginning of March and they enrolled me in the covid-19 program so I can skip my payments. Even though I am enrolled in the program, they have been reporting me to all the credit bureaus MALICIOUSLY 3-4 times in a single month and have me on collections. I have all the names and operator number from all the customer service reps and different supervisors I have spoken to and they keep telling me they are going to remove all these reporting from my credit report because it was an error on their behalf starting from February 2020 and nothing has been done. I even told them I was able to borrow the money from family so I can pay them off and they told me to wait until they can resolve this issue for me but I see it keeps getting worse, they keep reporting late payments on my credit and some supervisors told me they were going to call me and it never happened. I'm very frustrated and depressed and with a lot of anxiety. Don't shop here!! read more

This is a decent location with a lot of well stocked items. They have an excellent return policy as well. The only thing that would surprise you is that their pricing is not as low as you think it should be. As a matter of fact they are more expensive than even Macy's on the exact items they both carry. The discounts are not as deep as other stores but the selection can be good on certain things you are looking for that you might not be able to find at the other store. Great place to shop. All the employees are very helpful and they are very knowledgeable about the products they carry. A good thing about this store is they carry exclusive brands like Nike and Under Armour in which you can buy using Kohl's cash and get good savings, as well as their own brands like Sonoma in which you can use 30% coupons etc. The lines are usually pretty quick and it's always nice to see friendly positive employees checking you out. I just had the worst shopping experience of my life. I went into Kohl's La Habra this morning and grabbed a pair of Nike shoes off the rack. I was trying to check the price thru a kiosk, which happened to be broken. I asked Vicky from the shoe dept. for the price. She told me the shoes weren't for sale. Huh? Not for sale? I went looking for another kiosk and that crazy woman started following me around the store trying to grab the shoe box out of my hand. Then Vicky called some guy named Gus over to get involved. I was just with my mom who tried to do a return. I was in the juniors department and she was at the customer service counter. She was trying to explain to the employee why she was returning and the employee which I don't know his name cause no one would give it to me was raising his voice to my mom. He was so loud I could hear him on the other side of the store. Whether or not my mom was right in what she was explaining, she has a foggy memory due to medical reasons and that guy was so rude for no reason. I used to work in retail and our store manager always told us "remember the customer is always right". Julie and I know good service, and unfortunately it has not been found here at Kohls LaHabra! I reluctantly give this store two Yelp Stars because of their coupons, discounts, and special offers which make their prices low on certain items. However, if it were just based on customer service it would have to be zero stars for this particular location. Customers need to be thick skinned to shop at this LaHabra Kohls store. My experience and that of friends and coworkers I have chatted with regarding Kohls LaHabra has been mostly negative. If you plan to use a Kohls Coupon at Kohls LaHabra, be prepared to be treated like garbage by many of the employees at this location. Rude service from their cashiers, customer service, their creepy unmarked store security girls that are all so obvious, all the way up to their store manager (at the time of this experience "Cathy") has been observed when customers use coupons. They have even admitted to purposely being rude to customers with coupons, and the manager conveyed she would prefer shoppers that use coupons would not visit "her" store. If you see a special advertisement or get one of the many coupons that Kohls puts out all the time, be prepared for more than a bit of rude service at Kohls LaHabra. The company advertises their exceptional no hassle service, but obviously this store manager has not gotten a chance to read their corporate mission statement if it does in fact include good service. It seems that this store manager at the LaHabra Kohls location has disseminated a culture of rude behavior from the top of "her" store down. If you want the great Kohls prices, minus the obnoxious service from Kohls LaHabra store just take a drive down to Kohls in Cypress or another nearby Kohls store where they seem to know what good customer service is all about and shopping is truly made to be hassle free. read more

I really like Kohl's jr. Dept. jeans, sometimes their $19.99 & sometimes $24.99 they have a super high rise skinny jean that fits really good. Their Lauren Conrad jewelry is very cute & inexpensive rose gold rings are $8.99 on sale. Kohl's cash is the best. You spend so much & they give you $20 or $30 Kohl's cash. The store is very clean, employees are very nice & there's even employees at the register not like some stores where you can't find anyone to help you. I went to the Fullerton location on the seventh and spent over $50 and got $10 in Kohls cash. One of the shirts that I got didn't fit and I wanted to exchange it for a larger size but they didn't have it at the La Habra location. I decided to get a purse instead and spent more than the $50 in the two days. I had to surrender my $10 Kohls cash and they would not re-issue the Kohls cash because they said the purchases were done over a period of two days. I would understand if I hadn't purchased over $50 the first day. I returned the purse and will probably return the blouses too. I am surprised that a company like holes could not reissue the $10 Kohls cash. Very disappointed. read more

Kohls always has cool stuff for relatively low prices. Even myself, who I consider to have pretty picky standards on what I'll wear and what looks good on me, can always find something here. I'm a guy, so the vast majority of things at kohls aren't for me, but I always can find some Vans clothes, band r-shirts, and shoes without too much searching. I love the prices, and the fact that coupons can be used together to save even more. I've bought most of my clothes at this kohls over the past year and will continue to do so. read more

This is by far the best Kohl's I've ever been to. I've visited Kohl's stores in a few states when I travel but this was my favorite. The store was clean, organized and well stocked. Not only were there employees in every section, doing their jobs and offering to help, but the cashiers were plentiful also. The dressing rooms were also manned and clean. It was almost like a surreal experience when I think about the location in my small city. We really enjoyed our shopping experience and didn't even notice that we spent so much time in the store. i purchased around $685 world of clothing and shoes. and when i went to return the items i only got back $567 back from them. i order online so i had to try them on and see if they fit since they didn't have any in the stores so i went to return some of the things i didn't need and it was turning into a big mess and not being return my actual purchase even though i had recite and was not pass the purchase time. i spoke the manager and she didn't even know what was happening. she had no idea why it was done by that and told me in order to fix it i had to return everything from every single purchase. so i had to go home and bring back all i purchased and when i didn't she no longer wanted to help me. she told another manager the situation and when i returned every single item from all the orders purchased same thing happen i was still being missing $118 she didn't even know why and didn't even bother to help me out beware and check ur money and statements because tbey will still ur money. i'm trying to contact the credit card company they also have no idea why it's doing that apparently i used the kohls cash but i had returned the items i purchased with it and now i have to pay $685 to the card being returned $567 even though i return everything i bought trying to fix this problem so i'm paying $118 for no reason this is bs if anyone knows who to call and try to fix this problem please help me out its a lot of money that i have to pay and not keep a pair of shorts or shoes to answer what kohls responded that was already returned as it wasnt the items i had purchased. the suits were bigger that the size it was supposed to be. so yeah i har redeemed the cash earned but was returned but once again like i said before i didnt keep anything from what i had order from all the orders. the manager said i had to return everything even the items i was gonna keep so when i did that and returned every single thing i order to another manager cuz laura didnt want to help me anymore this other manager said i had nothing and that if i saw something wrong with the return i would have to call the credit card company and let them know and i had no more kohls cash yet i still owe $118 to the credit card cuz i made some purchases and since i returned i still had to pay which makes no sense to me i returned all the merchandise because thats what loura said to do un order to get my full money back yet i didnt i still have a balance of $118 on the credit card. so u punish ur costumers for buying and returning things and u have to pay what ever amount u used when u earned the kohls cash and you dont get to keep it either way. and since i earned $100 kohl's cash thats what i have to pay yet in the return receipts it says i used $110 when i clearly only had $100 but yet again i lost all the items i wanted to keep and i also lost the kohls cash supposedly i used and redeemed and i still have to pay merchandise i dont even have anymore? ahahaha what a joke of a company. i'm never shopping there again and i will fight this because it's not right. u owe me $118 and i will not pay the credit card that charge because i didn't keep any of the merchandise and kohls cash read more

This review is specific to their jewelry dept. I stopped by last Saturday to see a Vera Wang engagement ring that I had been checking out online, but the associate was no help at all. She was in an absolute rush to get me out of there and completely uninterested in talking to me, even though there were no other customers there. The size 7 ring that they had on display was too big for me, and she did not give me any suggestions as far as re-sizing options or perhaps ordering my size. This review is mainly for Amazon returns. Kohls calls themselves an Amazon return center, but they really aren't set up for it. The first time I tried it took forever. This time, the employee processing the returns was annoyed out of her mind at the Amazon returns. She was short and snippy, barely talked to any of us and openly complained about doing it to her co-worker. She wasn't wearing a name tag, but it was bad. I'm so pleased with my recent visit here! I ordered a pair of shoes that I found online and had them shipped to the store for free. I requested that they send me a text when my order was ready, thinking it would take 3-5 days to ship. I literally got my text 15 minutes after I ordered the shoes that they were ready. Granted, they probably had the shoes in the back or something but still, I was so surprised at how quickly they notified me. When I went into the store, I browsed the makeup and clothes section and couldn't believe some of the stuff they had. They carry good quality and non-dorky/outdated Nike workout clothing AND it was 25% off of everything! They also carry so many good makeup brands like Lorac, the Balm, Real Techniques, etc. When I was near the checkout line, the employee asked me if I was ready and I told her that I was going to browse at one of the stands really quick and she told me to take my time and that she would help me whenever I'm ready. After checking out, I went to customer service to pick up my online order and the employee was so nice. A lot of employees do the bare minimum but I'm always impressed when someone can do their job with a genuine smile on their face. When I got home, I was so happy with the quality of all of the purchases that I made. I'll definitely come here for affordable clothing, makeup etc. before checking other retail stores. read more

I probably had one of my worst experiences shopping here at Kohls. I received a gift that was originally $65, I went in to exchange it but the lady (Brenda) told me that i can bring another clothing that is marked $65 to do an even exchange. Not knowing that I had to bring one piece of clothing thats $65, i was shopping for several pieces that added to $65. Granted, that could have been my fault for not paying careful attention. I told her i wished she told me that earlier, she gives me attitude and tells me "ok, this is my first time talking to you". I walk away thinkjng to myself "wth?" Maybe shes having a bad day. So I go and get shoes for $65 and Brenda tries to scan it, realizes that its not going through and calls in her little microphone and they tell her she cant do an clothing for shoes. She turns to me with the same attitude and tells me that I need to get a piece pf clothing or I can get store credit for $27!!! First of all, im thinkjng to myself why is she giving me attitude? And second of all, why coulnt you tell me all this at the beginning before i spent over an hr looking for clothes and shoes i wanted to get??? At the end pf the day, i ended doing a lot of "wishful thinking" shopping and got a pair of levi jeans for $27.99. Great customer service Kohls and please someone get Brenda on check. read more
