Poor Customer Service: My parents were having difficulty using a promotion code emailed to them via kohls.com so a cashier directed us over to the Customer Service area. When we asked a Customer Service representative if we were in the right place, they told us we had to get on the Returns line. There was a sign next to a register that said Returns, so there we waited. When we were called over to the register, my parents told them they were directed to this line and the cashier very rudely told us that we were waiting in the wrong line and to move forward to Customer Service. Upon meeting with the next Customer Service representative, who was the friendliest of the bunch, she was unable to help us (which was fine) but then a store manager interjected stating the issue was not the fault of the store's and was an online issue that they knew nothing about and to call kohls.com to report the issue. This overall customer service experience was rude and most of the representatives who "helped" acted like they were annoyed and that we were bothering them with questions regarding information we were unsure of. Properly label your Returns line and don't give your customers an attitude when we seek your service and assistance. Merry Christmas. read more

Poor customer service. Official store policy, according to "CQ" who is a member of the management staff, is to prioritize online customers over instore shoppers. I think customers are customers and all should be treated with the same level of courtesy and appreciation. We checked other Kohl's stores and this policy is unique to this location. Ok, so it seems ridiculous doing another review for kohl's but I had the opposite experience this time so it seems only fair. I had a different cashier this time and she made a big difference. I recently bought black out curtains. When j got home and took them out of the package they were uneven. I took the uneven panel back and exchanged it. They were very wrinkled. I washed and dried them according to instructions. I hung them. More deep wrinkles. I just spent two hours trying to iron the wrinkles out. Not happy. Guess I will continue to shop online. People who work in stores just don't seem to care about customer service anymore. read more

Bought a purse, had it a couple months before using, used a few months, handle broke.(looked really made well, originally $90., but some how the inside part had not caught when stitched) Been about six months, no way I had the receipt, but driving home heard their ad on radio claiming no receipt was needed for return. So kept the purse ... now another few months have gone by, I finally have time to return it. They went back and looked on my charge card found exactly what I paid, minus my 30% discount I used that day, no problems, credited my card . I also had Kohls cash from back in Nov. Back then I actually added to my original purchase to qualify to get it, only to find out after I had paid, it could only be used certain days.(They now post that in the ad, but did not back then)I mentioned that when it happened I was not very happy about it. She called a manager and had me come back to customer service when I was done shopping and they honored my expired Kohls cash (sorry guys, now that they publish don't think this will work) Plus there was no line back there so I checked out quickly. This was also the first time I have been here where every time I needed some help, someone was right there for me to ask. Great customer service today. But only 4 stars, 'cause after all my purse did break. read more

This Kohls is the favorite of the Kohls competitors! The sales staff was rude condescending and following the example set by their management as I discovered a little later. There was not a sole in the store familiar with their policies the corporate office has posted on their website. Kohls is however a good chain, this store just happens to be the weak link. This location has a miserable selection of the most drab looking clothes plus staff is unfriendly.

The online service was amazing however the return process wasn't too welcoming. The lady working in the return department I believe her name is Lonnie she has a terrible attitude not very customer service minded. For this reason, I wont be visiting this location in the future. read more

First I will say, I love shopping at Kohl's. I normally shop in Leander, but decided to shop the selection at the Lakeline location. When I was there Friday customer service was nice and helpful. I returned with my family today and had the absolute opposite customer service experience. We were called to register 5 . I needed to do an even exchange on shorts, which I was instructed to do by customer service personnel at the register. She did do it after I told her customer service told me to do it at the register. Then she proceeded to ask me if I wanted to apply for the credit card. I told her no thank you. She wouldn't let it go, she was very persistent. She asked me to put in my phone number for rewards, I asked if I could have a scratch off, which you can participate in wether you have a kohl's card or not. She said I needed to put my number in first, so I did. Then I was asked to pay. I said can I please have a scratch off? She then went back to her credit card speech again. I said no, I'm really not interested. Again she continued. On my final no thank you, she just scanned a scratch off and told me to pay. When I was completing my purchase she popped the bag right in my face. I thought it was my imagination until we were walking out, my husband said did she really almost hit you in the face with the bag? I kinda laughed and said I thought that was just me. She didn't say thank you or anything. I told her to have a great day and left. Needless to say even though they may have a bigger selection I will keep my business in Leander. read more

Terrible Kohls. Been to other Kohls...they are much nicer. Dont go to this location. The cashier forgot to bag my items. I called them from home and the lady said she could not find my items. I came back to the store and found them on the same cashier counter...goes to show how well she looked for it. I'm writing to warn shoppers about the poor customer service I am experiencing regarding an expensive outdoor gazebo. Ordered the gazebo from them (third one I have purchased from them) and it was received in a damaged box with the feet anchoring pieces missing. Since it weighs over 100 pounds I just emailed customer service to get the parts. This all started in February. Received several canned replies that it would be addressed. After over six weeks I finally got a real employee asking for the missing part. I returned his message with the data. Four more weeks pass with nothing happening. I requested a status and was told "it's our busy season and the manufacturer has the information". I called customer service and they said I would have to "package up the remaining parts if I want a refund" and they would refer to corporate office. I told them to just get me the parts. Four more weeks pass and I receive a message that they may NOT be able to get the parts for me. NOW WHAT? So now it's the end of June. No communication, no refund, no completed product, just major frustration with them. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS FROM KOHLS UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY. read more

I have always loved Kohls - their sales- great products. Just about every Kohls I go to - I have a great experience. But I have never had a good experience at this Kohls (Lakeline). The women are completely rude, sulk, and make purchasing at their store quite undesirable. Tonight took the cake! Kohls had a display with Nikes priced at 55.97. I went to purchase the exact shoe on display and the Kohls sales woman charged me 74.99. I showed her the display and she verified it is the same shoe- and would not adjust to the price advertised. She treated me as if I was stupid for expecting to purchase shoes at the price advertised. 20 dollars more is a quarter of the price. I will drive out of my way for a different location- if I decide to continue shopping at Kohls! Truth in advertising is extremely important and I don't want my hard earned money going to a store that encourages false advertising! I would give them zero stars if I could! read more

This store double charged my debit card and wiped my bank account completely clean. They said they credited me back, but it has been days and I still have no money in my account to pay bills or buy food for my family. All they said is, " it was a corporate glitch". Many months later I decide to give this Kohl's another shot. They improved on their selection of shirts, but lacked a decent selection of pants. First they had no nice shirts and lots of pants and now they have lots of nice shirts and no pants, weird. I'm giving them a little higher score because I liked the cashier, the selection of shoes, and selection of shirts. Now if only they can have a decent selection of pants without taking away other things. read more
