#37/2024 This is one of the older Kohls to the Chicago area It's near the main mall. It's a two-level store with escalators and elevator I believe there's one. One thing about this though it has a very very large selection of stuff compared to other newer built stand-alone Kohl's stores in my area. I could go into the one near my house by lemont Illinois and the men's selection is half of what they have here. They have a very good selection of clothing they got that Sephora thing I don't know what that is I think it's for the gals. Have never looked into it but I've seen the signs and most Kohls it's like they partnered up or maybe they own the thing? Other than the traffic I don't mind coming to this one because as I said the selection is really good I think they have a little better staff too they're more courteous and willing to help you not quite so aloof like the other store unfortunately. In fact the last time I was here and I needed some athletic pants the selection was amazing what normally they had two of my size at the other one this one had about seven or eight of each item and couple at a time of my size. This location is larger than the one I used to go to before I moved. I like the selections and the customer service. My wife constantly complains about the loud music however. It is loud but doesn't bother me as much. Good selections and prices. Well organized store. Sloppy customers though throwing cloths from the rack onto the floor rather than rehanging. I have to admit I always forget about this Kohl's location in the old Orland Place mall. They are located on the southern end of what was a successful 2nd mall in Orland Park (south side of 151st Street) that failed and then was rejuvenated. This Kohl's is very nice and has all the usuals one might expect from a major retailer. The personnel we met were routinely friendly and helpful. The place was clean and everything a stocked and orderly ... I like Walmarts, but they often are in a jumble with items all over the place. This Kohl's was well managed and in excellent shape. One of the highpoints here is the Amazon return service. Walk to the north end of the lower floor and there is a special Amazon return service where you can hand in your items to a store clerk that processes the return. We mistakenly tried to return something that wasn't returnable, and he easily helped us find out how to do it at home. Very handy service and helpful clerk back there. read more

I truly love Kohls. I love their sales and Kohls cash. I won't stop going there. However! I need to go only when I have the luxury to take my time. I parked downstairs shopped around got a few things. Go back downstairs only to find that there is no cashier or register open. I saw a man leave cuz he wasn't going to go all the way up so they lost a sale. I had to go back upstairs to check out. Because I forgot my Kohls card I had to go to a cashier and couldn't do self check out. Only two registers open and then one went on break. Very weird. Anyway if you can do self check out then I highly recommend it! Today was not a good day. They better up their game for the holidays. I stopped shopping at Kohls a few years ago. I used to be a regular when they offered 15, 20, or 30 percent off everything. Now, their coupons excludes most of the stuff I want to buy. So, their coupon is useless. I shopped there recently to give it another try. I purchased items and got Kohls cash. This Kohls cash is very misleading. Kohls takes sale percentage off before applying kohls cash - completing diminishing the value of this kohls cash. It's not cash, just another way to mislead shoppers. I'm done with Kohls. read more

It was Sunday and I wanted to go shopping and I needed to return an Amazon product so I decided to go here in Kohl's. There is a plenty of parking. The two floor mall I think is the biggest branch of Kohl's that I have been into and I was right because this particular store is more spacious than the other branches. I first went to the Amazon return on the first floor and glad that there is no lines of people. A very helpful staff assisted me and I returned the product quickly and I do not have to worry about packaging and shipping for it. After it, I decided to shop and the I could see the cleanliness everywhere as well as the organized products. There were a lot of good choices of clothes with a good quality and reasonable prices. I was able to get a few items and I am very much happy with my purchase. read more

I have been a customer for many years. I understand the shortage of employees but trying to force customers to use the self checkouts and not sufficiently staffing the regular counter is not efficient or productive. Will try another location. If this is the direction this department store is headed than I will try other department stores. read more

I have refused to shop in your store until you make this situation right. Thought Kohl's might like to know why my family and myself no longer shop at Kohl's. My Mom fell leaving the Orland Park Kohl's store in December 2020 (within a few weeks prior to Christmas). She's in her 70's. she fell on her bad knee, her hand and her face. Kohl's HR/lack of customer service manager (I THINK her name was Christine?) never once called with any type of follow-up to that night not even to see how she was. Not one soul from Kohl's ever once returned any of my calls with help on filing a claim so she could go to the doctor. The lack of compassion on your part is astounding! Not to mention the lack of professional courtesy or professionalism overall. She needed to go to the Orthopedic Doc, She needed new glasses because those were scratched up from the pavement and Thank God in Heaven, she did not need to see the dentist, as her tooth hit the pavement as well, not that you care. A "BIG Shout Out to Steve", the front entrance assistant! The store was warm today and everyone has their face masks on. Lines were long to check out, but Steve did his best to be friendly and to recommend checking out in the lower level. After I checked out, Steve came out of the store right behind me. After I unloaded my purchases into my trunk, he was readily available to take my cart back into the store for me. What made him stand out?? He was talking to the customers in line, earlier. He remembered that I had to check out at the main level because my purchases were heavy. (There was a Scott Living sale, so I bought 4 plates, 2 vases, 5 diffusers and 3 candles). It was heavy and delicate. Thank you for being conscientious! Friendly to the customers and your help is appreciated. read more

TLDR: Amazon Returns are downstairs. Came in for Amazon returns and stood inline at the regular returns line. I waited and got up front to be told the returns were down stairs. In the stores defense there was a sign but I thought it was an error because it was pointing to where I was standing. I took the elevator and ended up in the storage room area. So got back on the elevator and pressed another button to get out. I survived and the Amazon return was accepted. It's a crazy busy parking lot and area in general. read more

I placed an order at the Orland park and Crete location for men Levi shorts to buy online and pick up in store. Both locations sent an email stating they were no longer in stock. Crete did issue me $5 kohls cash, but Orland park didn't send anything and when I called this morning she stated my order was pending then a 1/2 hour later received an email stating they were no longer in stock and cancelled. She probably knew right then they weren't in stock. They quick to get your order, but not fulfill it! Have to do better! This is not the 2nd time I have encountered this problem it's sad, but true! read more

Hooray! The Kohls in OP finally had the pants I was looking for. I would like to thank Kohl's for having the store locator on their website. You can put in the size/color you want and then it will tell you which particular locations have them. The sad thing is a lot of the stores closest to me said "limited availability" but the Orland Park location said "In stock" I made a special trip here and found them right away. I didn't spend much time perusing here (since this was the 3rd Kohl's I've visited in a few weeks) but the women's section was pretty organized, which is my complaint with most Kohl's stores. I was asked once if I needed help, which was nice. The cashier was also friendly so I'll give them an A+ for customer service. Kohl's as a whole needs to chillax on the credit card thing though. If I tell you NO once, I don't need an "Are you sure?" Yes, I'm positive I don't want to sign up for a credit card with 19% APR to save 20% one time. Kthanxbye. I love this store, everyone is so helpful. Very organized and clean all through the year, except some customers are very rude and just leave items everywhere including the floor. I watched a family with young children just ignore the fact that their children were playing in the clothes racks and knocking items off onto the floor. The mom just kept shopping and just stepping on or over them. I can only imagine how hard it must be for the employees to keep up with them. read more

I went to this location last weekend because I was on vacation and didn't realize it was going to rain. Not only that, but I forgot dress shoes and some shorts to sleep in. They had everything I needed, and at a good price as per the usual at Kohl's. This place basically saved my vacation from being a total disaster. The place looked nice and clean, especially for coming in on a rainy day. It's a two story location so there is a lot of stuff, but it's really easy to navigate. read more

Used to be a 5 star store, but the coupons dont apply to ALL items anymore. The obnoxious music in the store is so loud I cant stand being in there too long. I liked this kohls. It was on 2 floors and was stocked well. I did not like the signage. I felt like they should have more signs. I had to ask where customer service was. It was hidden in the back corner and once i got there for my online order there was a very long line. I finally realized it was a separate line for online orders which would have made my trip faster had the signage been more clear. read more

I used to shop at Kohls all the time. I started with them way back when they started, including when they converted the old MainStreet stores to Kohls. They offered quality goods at prices lower than fancier department stores, they had great sales, and their customer sevice was consistently good. Now, however, things keep changing. Brands we have always purchased there in the past (Reebok shoes, for example) are no longer carried. They no longer have gift boxes, so we do our gift shopping elsewhere. And the cost-cutting measures there must include energy cutbacks, because it was hot and muggy in the store today. It is just not the pleasant shopping experience it used to be. read more

My car was hit in the parking lot on March 26, 2019 and a customer witnessed it. The police were called. I was told the police would view the camera footage but haven't heard back. Went in to Kohl's to talk to security and was told that security doesn't speak with customers. So far Orland Police and Kohl's have been of no assistance. Looks like I'm out $1,700 in damages. Horrible customer service!!! The cashier would not allow me to use a coupon and repeatedly stated it was not a Kohl's coupon. I asked what she meant and if she could try scanning it because I received it in an email directly from Kohl's. she continued to refuse to let me use the coupon. When I told her I no longer wanted to make my purchase without the coupon she laughed at me. Regardless of the amount of money I would have saved it still upset me that she wouldn't try to scan it. I was promptly greeted when I walked in and several emplyees came up to me to see if I needed assistance. I don't make it a point to shop here. But it has made the top of my list when I do need something. They didn't have the size shoes I needed. But 13's fly out the door. So when I do find them, I need to grab um. The place was in good shape for a Saturday. There were no clothes on the floor and everthing was orderly. As I left with no merchadise, I was told to have a nice day. This location has 2 floors. I needed to return a shirt from Xmas. The parking lot is because there is one on the first floor and one on the second floor. Its a big Kohls. I was immediately greeted and the door and asked where customer service was located. I walked to the cormer on the upper level floor and there was no line (surprisingly) and the lady helped me right away. She was so fast at taking back the return and was immediately put back onto the Kohls credit card. My experience was fast and great. I recommend coming to this location. Just to start off that I am a big Fan of Kohls and shop all the time (online, call the 800 number to place a order and they are GREAT! I moved from Mchenry, IL and loved the Kohls there. I found a Kohls in Orland Park and have shopped their but it seems that it is nothing but a headache!!! Terrible Customer service by employees and it seems I know more then them. (Customer Service department is great). It is very hard to find someone to help me and always end up to the register to have someone paged!! Maybe people think that the way Orland Park Kohls is ran is the norm but if you drive to Mchenry Kohls you will without doubt see what I mean about customer service. I will just try to do my ordering online but if I have to shop there I will click my heals three times like the Wizard of Oz and hope for a miracle. I recently made a trip to Kohl's about a week after Christmas to do some returning and exchanging. There was a long line but it went quickly and was roped off very conveniently - the line was not in the way of shoppers. There was an associate directing people which cashier to go to, answering questions, and making small talk with the customers. That was very nice. When I got to the cashier she was very friendly and made an extra effort to find the best deal for me - even exchange vs. straight return and re-buy. I really appreciated that! Thank you! read more

My concern is not with the products or services of Kohls. It's with the fact that they say if you take a survey you can win a gift certificate worth up to $80:00. The fact is that these are just scams to let you try a product and if you don't return it within n a certain period you are charged about $98.00 per month. It's not a gift it's a scam and unless you read the policy terms you're stuck with a big bill I thought that Kohls was a family store but this is misleading and cheating your customers. read more
