When I finally wore them, they felt odd and then was told by someone that one leg looked shorter than the other. Turns out this size 2T pair of pants (tall)) has one leg at 31" and the other is 29". I took them into the store to exchange them for a normal pair of pants. They offered me $9.99! I have spent hundreds of dollars online and at that particular store and that's all they'd do for me. The lady haughtily stated, "Oh that happens sometimes." They can sell defective clothing and think that is just fine! My advice is shop elsewhere. I have to question where their clothes are made and by whom? Children in China? Who knows? Very tacky of them, I think. Terrible value; terrible service

Then finally, as she was processing my return, she said I have to give her my phone number, email and address in order to finalize the return. I said no, you don't need that information. Then she smirks at me and says, I'm sorry, but we won't be able to do the return then. Really? You need all of this information to make a return? I called another location (Oak Brook) and asked if the above "policy" about returns was valid. She said absolutely not. We only ask that if you want to be on our mailing list (for catalogs) and receive special offers through your email.

I was in dire need for an evening dress for a special occasion, with absolutely no time to shop. It was near closing time and I desperately called and asked what time they were closing, if I could make it in.....they quickly answered and said "come on in, we'll get some dresses ready for you, what size are you?" I was working out across the street and made it 10 min before close...it was the only opportunity to try on a dress. I showed up and these ladies had 8 dresses, with shawls, shoes and accessories waiting for me in the dressing room. Amazing service in such short notice. They never made me feel rushed and it was their mission to make me feel comfortable with what I was trying on. Such great service! I felt like a million bucks!

I don't love it because everyone and their mom and THEIR moms all shop here, so you're not getting anything super unique. I bought an owl sweater at the Oakbrook Terrace location because I have an owl obsession. The way that it was displayed in the store, it had a collared shirt underneath it and it looked super preppy yet stylish. I ordered the sweater one size up, assuming that it would need to be a little bigger to put a collared shirt under it. When I finally found a collared shirt to match, the sweater was still too huge so I had to bring it back. Let me also note, that I'd bought this sweater 3-4 weeks earlier and it'd been hanging in my closet until I could hunt down the perfect shirt to go underneath it. I'd since lost the receipt, because everything always gets thrown out at my house. I was super nervous bringing it in that they would hassle me and I'd be stuck with this huge sweater. I came in this past Sunday and the line was horrendous--so horrendous that I contemplated just hanging my sweater up and grabbing the right size, but since I could never do something like that - I decided to wait it out. The line went really fast though. When I finally made it up to the register, I explained my plight to the nice lady and she told me that they didn't have anymore of the owl sweaters but I could pick out something else. Disappointed, I ran back to find something else and ended up with a brown/black and grey plain sweater. When I came back up, the lady told me that since I paid with my debit card, they could find my transaction. I handed over my card and in less than 15 seconds, she found my purchase. Lucky for me too, the sweaters happened to be on sale, so not only was I walking out with a sweater in the right size, but I was walking out the door $8 richer. Overall, my experience this weekend was a good one. The store was organized, the line moved quick and the cashier was friendly. I'm giving 4 stars because the team were great but don't expect me to start shopping here on a weekly basis!

The worst customer service experience I've ever experienced. I went here in April to get my…read moredaughters bridesmaid dress for my sisters wedding in June. They said it would be here by June 7th which was kind of late because the wedding is June 13. I call back and ask them again a couple of weeks later seeing if it changed, they said May 30th. So may 30th comes around, I call them ask if it's there and they said no it's not coming till the 12. I ask them if there's anything they could do about it and they said they will try. I call corporate to see if they could do anything, they can't and ive been in hold with them for 40+ minutes before I have them call back. They call back 4 hours later not being able to help me. I call the store today (6-2) asking if there was any news, earlier it sounded very promising and she took my number to call me back. 2 hours go by and no call so I call them back at 7:00 (they close at 7:30) and they kept putting me on hold and then hung up on me after waiting the 35 minutes to ask the question. Never again going to David's bridal for anything. This isn't the first time David's royally screwed me over.

I was in and out in about 30 mins. Half of that was do to all the great conversation we were having. Would have been out in less time. My suit was ready on the Tuesday before our Saturday wedding. Shannon made the necessary adjustments on the spot. 2 hours before my wedding I felt my jacket was a little too big even after Shannon took it in 3 inches previously. I came in and she accommodated me with NO PROBLEM! Thank for the great service from start to finish. I am sure I will use you for future services. After a couple of minutes, I had to go to the ladies room and was advised in an abrupt manner that they did not have public restroom, but I could go next door to another store. Okay maybe it's just me but I find that tacky. You are a store, that has women coming to try on clothing, and you don't offer basic accommodations? Then worst you direct a customer to another store what happened to "Give the lady what she wants shopping concept" in this case "Give the Lady a Restroom" to deliver comfort, and a Great Customer Experience. When I returned from next door, the cashier Sofia was kind, super polite, apologetic and friendly but I do have to say the demeanor of the others were not as welcoming as before they sent me next door to the restroom. The only thing I advised them was that I did not think that was right, and after going next door, I will not be trying on the other item. You cannot tell me the 3 of them are going to Walmart or the store next door to use the facilities. Especially when the store next door just opened in March. This is only my second time visiting and I have lived in the Community for over 12 years. The store has nice things so I would visit again, but I just did not like the overall experience that is the reason for the two stars.

I bought a $900 Hart suit. After 3/4 wears (no rough usage), the pants began to rip along the pocket line. I took it up there and (rudely, as usual) was told "well you probably put your hands in the pockets." First, I don't often do that. Second, I have a $900 suit and can't put my hands in my pockets!? I can with my suits from Kohls with no issues. She stitches them up and within an hour of wearing the next time, the stitching breaks open. I took it to a local seamstress and she fixed it without issue. A few wears after that, however, the suit bottoms ripped again in the back. Simply cheap nonsense. Somewhere during this time, I went to shop for custom button up shirts to wear for my new court clerkship. The lady urges me to get these custom-made shirts that are guaranteed to fit perfectly. She has to order them from Asia somewhere, though. I tell her very clearly that I need the shirts by the start of June (6 weeks or so from the day). The shirts come in a month or so later, and they don't fit whatsoever. Not close. Mind you these shirts were $100 a piece. Most were basic white button ups. $500 for five shirts and nada. She then says she will tailor them for me. I wait, and wait.. nothing. By this time, I'm well into my clerkship and the point is moot. I show up later to discuss something else (the pants above) and she says "oh I called you." Well, I never received a call to my knowledge. Wouldn't you call again? You'd think, especially because of the time frame and their screw up. She then acts as though it's my fault and reluctantly refunds me. In addition to the above examples, I have noticed their prices are ridiculously high. Most things you can find elsewhere or online for 60% of the price. Tom is pretty cool and helpful/knowledgeable but the lady who runs it is borderline insufferable. Their suits are overpriced and cheap quality. Shoes too. If you want to spend $900 on a suit you can't wear, $500 on custom shirts that don't fit and take months to arrive, and be treated like a burden -- look no further! This is the shop for you!
