Stopped in to Kohls today to return and Amazon package. The store was nice and cool which was a plus. The Amazon returns being upstairs doesn't really make sense. Store returns used to be there also but there was a handwritten sign stating store returns were being handled at the downstairs registers and that Amazon returns would be handled at the upstairs location. You would think that having both downstairs would make more sense relative to accessibility and practicality. Nonetheless I returned my item and went back to my daily adventures. T read more

I use Kohl's for all my Amazon returns , when I do it's a bit of a pain having to go upstairs to process your return. For Kohls it's a SMART move as 1. They need the space for all the massive returns they get and they get a lot . 2. The number 1 reason for Kohl's is they have the customer walk through the entire store Just to do a return and when they do , hopefully they will see something they will want ( not necessarily need). Then they hand you the 10-15% off coupon for you to use so there you go , you spend money At Kohls all while doing an Amazon Return . I try to walk out 95% of the time but 5% I do spend time shopping therefore I am proving the point of # 2 whereas I would not have even went into Kohl's in the first place . I do shop at kohls to find sheets or some pillows or baby items or home goods . It's very convenient and is always clean . Dont keep to many dressing rooms open which is annoying and they are never CLEAN - woman are lazy as well you know what . Well as of my last review they have removed most checkouts and left only 3-4 checkouts and added self checkouts but I have never used it there as I like them to help me to ensure my rewards are used correctly! This Kohl's is massive! It's two stories. If you're coming here for returns, it's a pain because the returns for Amazon are upstairs in a corner, so you have to literally get lost in the store to find it. It looks like they have a ton of inventory and the store is clean. Good if you want to spend awhile wandering some aisles. read more

Matt is awful! we hate him. He has made every trip here worse than the last. He is verbally abusive to staff, including Teresa and also told my elderly mother not to bother him. He also stood by as another customer shoved my mother and cussed her out and then laughed as this woman and her husband chased my elderly mother to her car. The manager here said "she doesn't really care" and laughed. On top of that; they sell broken merchandise! We bought a gift from someone and it was totally broken and used! Do they not check the items they take back!? Every time we have returned an item we get CROSSEXAMINED! Staff here is AWFUL! Attitudes are vile and sickening! Staff is on a power trip, exercising what little power they have in their sad situations. Matthew also said signing up other customers for credit cards is more important than helping us? This Kohls is in a perfect location, with plenty of parking, good selection of goods and friendly staff. The store has a wide selection of clothing both new and discounted. The prices are always competitive with other similar stores. What I believe sets them apart from others is their staff. On 3/15/24 I went shopping there to redeem Kohls Cash that I had received from a previous purchase. There was an issue with retrieving the cash from my account. At the store, I was assisted by Brian who was the manager that day. Brian did an outstanding job in responding to and resolving my problem within minutes. I very much appreciated the patience and understanding Brian showed in fixing the issue. Brian should be commended on his great customer service. read more

WOW WOW WOW!!! Amazing customer service here from James K and Victor V in the Amazon return department. I had A LOT of items to return which took 40 min. I was stressed, embarrassed, they put me at ease with no judgement, calm nature, smiles, and I did not feel rushed at any point of time. I had a sister come with me for support and Victor even grabbed a chair from a department to give to her to sit down since her hips were hurting. I cannot say enough of a THANK YOU from these two. It has nothing to do with your employees or customer service. It has to do with your policies. I am DONE! I just cut up my cards, and I will never shop in your store again. I am so tired of receiving coupons for 15%, 20%, and 30% off....only to come into the store and find out that my $175.00 purchase only gave me $3.00 off because I bought Under Amour, Nike, or some other brand name item. It is so frustrating. I have been irritated about this for years, but my last visit was the last time I shop there! First time here Returning an Amazon order here is super convenient however don't fall for the 20% coupon they print out with your proof of return to spend on Kohl's items. It didn't save me much and had limitation and restrictions where I saved $4 on my purchase of $70. The prices are average and feel like I can probably find the same products at Walmart/JC Penny but costs more. The line gets long with only a couple of cashiers so bring your patience. TIP: The Amazon return department is upstairs in the back (furthest point away from the entrance) it was a quick in and out however I got stuck perusing the aisles, returning a $15 item from Amazon, leaving after spending $70 at Kohls, looks like I am the sucker! read more

Be very careful what funds you pay with for your purchase. I paid by PayPal for my on line purchase but when I needed to return the items Kohl's only refunds the money as a private party and the money is placed in a PayPal account and not returned to original credit card payment. Had to call PayPal and then it was returned to my bank account and not my credit card. Last shopping trip to Kohl's! Very poor Customer Service. read more

Extremely uncomfortable experience at the Amazon desk in this Kohl's location (03/04/23 at 3:35pm). I had to return my wife's breast pump and the associate made a homophobic remark (mentioning Pete Buttigieg and saying "Only in America"), followed by another joke about women's breasts. Commenting on returns is already unprofessional, but this was highly inappropriate. Additionally, this isn't the first time an associate has made out-of-place remarks about our returns. I really only come here when they send out coupons or have a big sale. Prices are high when the items are not on sale, but usually everything is at least 40% off and you can stack coupons and get clothes and items for the home at a great deal. Lines at check out can get really long here, best to go early or during the week. Store is huge and clean, well organized and stocked, plenty of easy parking. read more

I am embarrassed to say that I haven't previously explored Kohl's to notice the second level. I love the surprise! We needed to return some Amazon items and thankfully had the option to drop it off at Kohl's. This saved us the hassle of creating a package and standing in line at the UPS store, FedEx Office store, or Post Office. Head to the escalators in the back left-hand area of Kohl's. You'll walk towards Customer Service in the back right-hand corner of the store. On the right you'll see the shoe section, the Amazon Returns counter is right there. Remember to bring the QR code that Amazon gave you so the nice young lady can properly label and pack your item. The employee was very efficient. She handed us our confirmation receipt along with a coupon for Kohl's. We probably were inside the store for only 6 minutes tops. Clean store but I think it could use a little more organization or better upkeep on displaying clothes. One light over the escalators was flickering. I understand it's the busiest time of the year it's also supposed to be the most joyous time of the year. but when I was checking out at Kohls in Rancho Santa Margarita, a salesperson in register 1 named Maureen was checking us out. She huffed and puffed when I decided not to purchase certain items (which I am allowed to do) she and rolled her eyes at me and blurted out how this was happening all day. I'm disgusted with the employees they face hired at this store all the way to Andrew who is supposedly a manager. He isn't managing anythand I've never gotten such attitude and poor customer service from any employee let alone a manager. I'll never shop in this store again. I returned some items and used my debit card but because no one in kohl's knows what they're doing. since I used a debit card I should be able to either have it put back on my debit card and the funds should appear right away because again it was a DEBIT card and used as a debit card I checked. The more you know, the more you Kohl's. Sounds like a PBS special. The more you know , the more you grow. Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow anyone? Yeah, sure. What I do know is I needed a gift and not just any gift. A gift for a man whose wardrobe is bigger than my Mom's and who preceeds style, my Dad. He has high expectations of me. Because you see, I'm the only one that knows how to pick out his clothes including his ties. Yeah, I'll admit I'm Daddy's girl and when Dad said "Get me a tie. You know how to pick them out the best." The expectation was set high because before all that getting a tie for him was something I just did out of love but now the bar has been raised and there's that need to please. I had to make sure I had the best tie and the best gift. It's nerve wracking! Will I find the perfect tie? I spent an hour browsing their selection. Unfortunately it's not as big as I would like it to be but they had some good deals. I found one that I liked and I know he's not going to like the color but I'm the expert, right? And besides, he needs a feminine touch to his wardrobe. This is a fairly large store. It wasn't too crowded this morning and Christmas music was playing on the stereo. It wasn't all Christmas though. It was sprinkled in here and there just enough to get you in the Holiday mood and buy more despite the economy. Thanksgiving hasn't even come and gone yet and they've already jumped the gun with Black Friday promotions and Christmas decorations. I wonder if the employees get tired of listening to all the Christmas music and seeing all the festive decor or does it just make them jolly workers? Despite all that, the store is clean and organized. But that just might be the case because I was there right as it opened. No one came to ask me if I needed anything but that's ok with me. Sale racks that are organized? It was like a dream come true! Popped in here for some belated after Christmas shopping yesterday (12/29/12) and was delighted to find a very organized store... even at 7:30 in the evening! Things weren't too picked over; able to grab things in small/medium sizes and found some great deals. Deal number one: cute blazers for under $20 (normally $70). Deal hubby liked: Some watches were buy one, get one 50% off. I haven't loved Kohl's lately, but a brilliant shopping experience yesterday has turned me around. I had to re-download yelp and write this review because of the great experience today. I did some early holiday shopping and everybody was so nice/helpful. First, someone in customer service let me borrow their phone because mine died. Sounds good so far, right? It gets even better. I walked up to the register and met June. Befitting name to say the least. She had warm and friendly disposition. I do not know how she did it but I saved over $400 in discounts. When I saw the total I was in disbelief, what was this witchcraft? She finessed the system. Updated 4/14/12: So, shopped here again today - since its the closest location to where a friend and I had a bunch of errands to do.... and ay ay ay! After waiting in line down the aisle and around the corner... it took us forever to check out as well. I had a picture I wanted but it had a tear on the top. The cashier offered me an extra 10% off.... perfect. I had a pair of jeans that were $50, that I did a price check on, and they came up at $19.99 at the kiosk. When I checked out, they rang up at $25.00 Ok - its only $5 different, but still. My friend took the jeans with the cashier to the kiosk and checked them and they came up at $25.00 - A supervisor was at the checkstand behind us and shouted they were probably a power hour item. So, without thinking, I said so if I shop too long, I no longer get the power hour pricing? She said yes, that is correct - and I realize now it makes sense but what a bunch of BS. I shopped over an hour - so nothing on the power hour sales were good anymore. Thats just crap. So in the future if you find something on a power hour, go buy it then keep shopping. TOTAL crap but whatever. The supervisor ended up having her honor the $19.99 price and I was thankful but everything was a big hassle. As always :( Three customers in line talked about how HOT it was in the store. I agree. The heat is always running it seems... it makes shopping such an unpleasant experience when you cant wait to get out into the cooler air... and for So Cal, theres not really often COLD air outside.... so come on. _____ I feel like I need a serious bag of patience to go shopping at Kohls. Their employees must have to fail a customer service test in order to be hired. Its unbelievable and its not just this location - Its the location here, Irvine, Huntington Beach... its just bizarre. My last visit there I was $3 away from getting Kohls Cash. I really like this location. It's got great inventory and it's kept up much better than places like JCPennys and Sears. On a weekday afternoon I decided to check out this store.. Of course, the store is very large and spacious, and well lit. There is a huge section of men's clothes. Like other stores, they have an electronic display to show you the current sales price. It looks like they sort of exaggerated your savings I think, but the prices were pretty good. They had a ton of cashiers working today, so it was only a few minutes to check out. They did not bother to hard to try to talk me into getting a rewards card. I appreciated that. The cashier was very courteous and very efficient. The changing rooms were very clean and there were lots of rooms. There were plenty of parking spaces. No problem there. My shopping experience was very enlightening. I took two of the same pants in 2 sizes each priced differently on the clearance to customer service. A very unsmiling and slightly hostile employee told me the $5 higher price on the size 14 than the size 4 was due to " store inventory" she didn't offer to match pricing on the same Apt 9 jeans. I felt very unsatisfied and feel this is suble discrimination based upon size. I plan to reconsider shopping at Kohl's in the future. read more
