What an amazing experience. My wife had been interested in getting another leather jacket so we went to the mall in Mission Viejo. Many stores has faux or polyurethane type jackets but not authentic leather. We stopped into Lucky Brand after visiting Macy's and Nordstrom and what amazing customer service. Terri and Aylissa were so nice and provided stellar customer service. My wife fell in love with the black cruiser style lambskin leather jacket and also tried the brown one in a similar but slightly different style. Terri got on a ladder and found my wife the correct size as it wasn't on the rack. What wonderful people at this store as we were so impressed with the kindness and caring assistance. Then Terri mentioned the sale they were having so we ended up buying the black and brown jackets and even recieved an additional 25% off. Their inventory is very nice and the store is meticulous. I just came in on Sunday March 1st at 5:42PM to exchange a gift I personally received on January 15th, but the items were purchased in December. What seemed to be the manager was an older woman wearing a glasses and a bun was extremely rude and condescending when I explained to her my situation. Telling me that I should have called or gone on the website online to review information that was not stated on the gift receipt. If there is a specific timeframe on one items need to be brought in for an exchange, then it should be written on the gift receipt. Extremely disappointed with the service. She did not even give me the opportunity to speak my piece. As a preschool teacher, my time is extremely limited and I finally had time to come in for an exchange. I would be interested in leaving a formal complaint somewhere else if possible. I rarely leave negative reviews, only when warranted. The feeling I got was that she wanted to turn my husband and I away the second we entered the store. Be weary of purchasing from Lucky Brand, they clearly do not care about customer service. I recently purchased over $1000.00 of clothing from luckybrand.com ONLINE, buying a new casual wardrobe for my father! I placed several orders online and it seemed like a great shopping BRAND option because Lucky claims you can make returns to a Lucky Brand retail store in person. So I thought great! On Sunday Jan 26, 2025 I drove to Mission Viejo to return several items of clothing from two different orders to which I had the email order numbers and invoices. Upon completion of the returns, the cashier said, OK you will see the credit on your credit card! I said OK, yet I was confused because I was NOT HANDED any return receipt. Thus, I kindly asked the cashier if I could have the receipts and he said NO! He stated LUCKY BRAND RETAIL STORES DO NOT and CANNOT print paper receipts for RETURNS and I will see the returns in email. This made me feel very uncomfortable because it provided me no way in which to check to make sure everything was in place, in other words how could I check to ensure all the items were scanned and returned. As I left the store, and began walking out, some time had passed because after doing the returns I turned around a bought another $200.00+ worth of items for myself, so I checked my email and found no email receipts of the online purchases RETURNED IN STORE, so I went back into the store and stated I hadn't received the email receipts. I was then told it might take up to 24 hrs to receive the email receipts. So I walked out of the store having returned $100.00's of dollars of merchandise without any PROOF or evidence of the said returns, except for perhaps the surveillance camera's Lucky has in store, to which I have no access. It's now Jan 29, 2025, 3 days later and I still have not received any email notices from Lucky about the in store return. So I am wondering how I am going to fix this issue. While I like Lucky Brand clothing, I don't understand how this is the system and M.O. of the company, to refuse to provide a customer return paper receipt's when they print paper receipts for in store purchases and print receipt's for returns of items purchased in store, but don't 'have the capability to print me a receipt or even resend an email in the event they have a customer like me who does not receive the return receipt via email! In the end, how am I supposed to know if the correct items were returned for the correct price? To make matters even more complicated one of the orders I placed had a 30% discount promo code only when I checkout 30% was not applied to the total so how on earth am I supposed to work out the price and or value of the items I returned? Jan 29, 2025 I have called Lucky this morning and been told they can't issue me a return receipt and I need to drive back to the retail store that did the returns. So I took 1.5 hours out of my day to drive south paying for gas and toll roads, only to encounter a sales manager in the store that stated she could not print me receipt, nor push an email of it, since I never got any emails and she also told me she could not speak to corporate to help me resolve the matter. She did however offer, to look up the order numbers and show me the items that were returned on the cash register computer screen but that "RETURN HISTORY" screen has NO MONETARY INFORMATION, so it is incapable to show me the dollar amount of the returns. See ScreenShots/photos below. Again, I asked the Lucky manager if I called Lucky Corporate if she would speak to them with me on the phone and she refused saying she couldn't do that. So I phoned Lucky for a second time and spoke with a woman who took down the order numbers and stated she would have to put in a request to have some special department try to get me the return receipt's and to wait up to 3 days and she will try to help me. I also put in multiple support tickets online and what is tragic is a Lucky Brand rep responded to my issue and gave me a refund total for one order and asked me if that was helpful to which I responded, NO! Yes, I have checked my credit card transactions and can see two return credits but that is not a receipt, so for some reason it seems like Lucky does not want me to be able to see the return receipts and or doesn't seem to understand what a return receipt is. Poor customer service. I was with my 3 year old and in a hurry yesterday. I ended up getting a pair of jeans and wore them out of the store and I simply didn't have time with my daughter on the verge of throwing a tantrum to change back into my other pants. By the time I got home I realized the pants were too big and took them off immediately with the intention of returning them. I knew I didn't have that tags but that doesn't seem to be a problem with most modern retailers. I went back today (the next day) and as luck would have it the same woman (who I think is the manager) who rung me up yesterday was there. I explained the situation and she asked if I had the tags and I said "you know I don't have the tags you cut them off yesterday when I bought them" she immediately got defensive and said "you made me cut the tags off" I was honest and said "listen I was in a hurry with a 3 year old yesterday and when I got home I realized these don't fit and now I'm back to return them for the correct size." Still being snippy she says "we don't take items without a tag". So I admittedly got angry myself "well I'm not storing clothes that don't fit in my closet and this is my first time trying your jeans and I won't be trying again." I left the jeans on their counter and left I worked in retail for a long time. If someone tells you they are trying your brand for the first time and have clearly had a difficult experience and you were the one that sold them the jeans yesterday you just eat the pair of jeans and give them the right size because you could have just gained a life long customer. Now you lost the chance of them ever coming back. Bad form all around Sure I could go home and go through my dumpster to find the tags but it's the stores job to create a good experience for the customer not a more difficult one. read more

Well, I have to admit that if you know why these jeans are popular when you unzip them, there's a phrase. On the pants themselves. The sizes are always correct, they don't vary they are actually true to what the sign says on the label. The jeans last a long time and I purchased quite a few of them. I normally buy Lucky online. It's just super easy and avoids having to fight busy parking lots and mall busyness, but jeans are a different story....for the most part, you really have to try them on for a good fit. While it's on the smaller side, the staff was super friendly and especially attentive at this store so be sure to check it out if you're at the mall. read more

Never coming back to this location again. This is the absolute worst lucky brand store I've ever been to. From now on I will go out of my way to the Newport location just to avoid their horrible attitudes. Thanks so much for that. Don't bother coming here if you've got an exchange, you're clearly not worth their time of day. Every other customer, except you, will be greeted. I called ahead multiple times to make sure they had the item I needed to exchange. Was told by Sarah over the phone that she did put 3 of them on hold for me to try on, and that she would be in until 7 pm. I was told this by Sarah TWICE. Arrived to the store well before 7, and was greeted by absolute SILENCE from all 3 employees on the floor, INCLUDING the manager Julie. They just stood there folding clothes, did not even acknowledge me or that I had entered the store. Not a single other customer was present at this time. It was literally me and 3 employees. I had to approach THEM, or else they wouldn't have said a single word. I asked if Sarah was there "oh no she's gone for the day"... Ok.... Told Julie THE MANAGER that I had 3 items on hold, and acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. She tells me that they don't have anything on hold for me. Well someone's lying. She ends up finding them pushed to the back of a rack, and continues being more busy conversing with another employee. I was treated like dirt, and a waste of their time because I needed to exchange a DEFECTIVE jacket. I hurry up out of there, trying on the items as fast I can. At the register, Julie dumps my "$449" leather Moto jacket into the bag. No tissue paper or effort to fold it whatsoever. I ask her if she can please wrap it in tissue paper at least, to protect it. She goes "oh yeah...sorry". Finish at the register, and I tell Julie thank you. Not a SINGLE word out of the managers mouth. No "goodbye" no "thank you" NOTHING. She simply ignores me and moves on to the next customer. Mind you, the only other customers in the store at this point was a mother and daughter. These employees couldn't be bothered to give me the time of day, it was disgusting. HORRIBLE customer service here. Compared to the other Lucky Brand at Newport, this store is an embarrassment. I would never be treated like this at the other stores. They were so keen on ignoring me that I decided to wave and say goodbye in an extremely obvious way once I got to the front of the store, to see just how far they would go to ignore me. Bought several items online, when I went to return one pair of jeans in the store, I was told they do not accept returns that have been purchased with paypal. I was told to call customer service and that I would be given a free t-shirt. I am not trying to get anything free, simply trying to do a return. (If you send a return by mail Lucky charges you $8.) Customer Service is a joke, there is no live representative. You must leave a message and they will call you back. I went online to do live chat and was told by a representative that indeed that was not the policy. I screen shot the Lucky's return policy as I now had to go back to the store. I returned to the store and shared my experience with the manager, she was extremely unpleasant, after much conversation she returned the item. She stated, " I don't know if you will get the credit". She shared that paypal hasn't worked correctly since December in stores. Lucky will take paypal online but not credit paypal in store? I asked if it could be returned to the credit card that my paypal is connected to, she took such delight in saying no to me. I expressed this does not give me confidence that I will be credited, she simply said "you will have to check". To me this all seemed a bit unethical or at least a horrible business practice. Lucky takes all payment online and allows returns in stores but not paypal? If this is true don't accept paypal online or allow free returns. I then asked for the district managers or regional managers phone number, she smirked and said " I would have to leave my info and they will call me". No thank you, leaving my personal information with this employee is not an option. Sadly, after a decade of loyalty I will not be purchasing from this brand again. Two store visits, a phone call, and an online chat, to be told maybe I will get the credit. Kindness and business integrity still matter. I was going to buy jeans online, thinking that the website would offer more sizes but my husband mentioned there was a Lucky Jeans store in the mall. He knows things, so I decided to check it out. It can be convenient to pick up clothes in a store instead of online and save time and costs on shipping. The store has men's and women's jeans, tanks, t-shirts, and accessories. They had the size I wanted and the salesperson was helpful. He was knowledgeable about the different styles of jeans (skinny, relaxed, etc) and the sizing. I found out from him that the jeans stretch about a half size and that each pair is unique. That explained why two jeans of the same size and style (different color) fit differently. This helped me decide which size I wanted. I was able to fit into a smaller size than I expected, which was also on sale. I was informed that there were no returns on sale items but the jeans fit well, so that is not a concern. This turned out better than it would have if I had shopped online, in my opinion. read more

Wow!!!! Never had such a great experience! After having countless horrible encounters at the Irvine Spectrum location I resulted to online shopping to avoid their horrible employees! I am so happy I have found this location! The employees were all so sweet and talkative and assisted me in anyway then can! Needless to say we walked out with quite a few things and ended up returning a week or so later and shopped some more. I loved that they recognized me and fiancée upon our return to this location! It shows me they actually pay attention to people who come in, unlike the Irvine Spectrum who wouldn't even acknowledge my presence. It was more than just the typical one-liner after "welcome, how are you," she was basically tailing me through the entire store, asking me the most mundane questions along the lines of "oo, I see you got chocolates next door, what's your favorite flavor?" All I was trying to do was wander around the store, seeing what could catch my attention, lady! After getting through the intruding conversations, I started heading towards the exit to get out of this awkward atmosphere and she kept asking me the most random questions to try to get me to stay in the store and flip through some more racks and buy something, probably. Hello, I have rarely done this but was absolutely disappointed by the Sales persons behavior yesterday! And before Is hare that I have to mention that I have enjoyed Lucky stuff & had very good experience with the brand overall! In fact I share with everyone that one my Lucky bag handle broke & I walked up to the Lucky store in Irvine Spectrum & they were wonderful & immediately gave me a new bag!!! However it is a very different story this time! I ordered a Bag online which no where stated that it is a final sale! I took it back to the store & the Cashier (Teresa) (who was very curt & had a BAD cold) came & informed me that this is a FINAL SALE & she cannot do anything. I showed her the original email receipt which does not state that either, however she refused to do anything & said call the Customer Service! When I requested her to call customer service she asked me to stand close to her instead of looking at stuff did so I idid! However she talked to the customer service, kept the phone & then informed me "Nothing can be done"! I asked her why she did not let me talk & her answer was "I called & they said NO and I cannot do anything else! I immediately called Customer Service from my cell phone & spoke to the person on the line. She was good & put me on hold & spoke to the Manager & as a courtesy for one time said I can return the bag! However she cannot tell the store person anything. If they are OK they can do it! I shared this with the Cashier by putting the Speaker phone! However she just refused to do anything, handed me the receipt & my Bag & asked me to mail the bag!!! I was utterly disappointed and shared that feedback with her & her answer was I called them for you but there is nothing else i can DO!!! I am still AMAZED at this reaction & Customer service & cannot believe this happened...I have never had such an experience with a Sales person!!!
