Good shopping experience tonight. Had an extra 20% coupon and a really nice employee named Amanda was very helpful. She clarified which brands can be used with this coupon. So basically you cannot use it on Nike or Columbia brand items. I was able to get some dress shirts for work and some gifts for the kids. When there's a store coupon you definitely get a better value for your purchase. The have a lot of home goods items, shoes, clothes for the family, costume jewelry and even a Sephora located here. Definitely a one stop shopping place for all your needs. Note: not a good place to use the restroom unless you have to. Some stalls didn't have toilet paper or toilet seat covers. read more

On my way to drive to the store so that I could make a payment on my card. Instead of going to the one closer to my house that I want to make sure stay is open. I went to the one by the Tyler Mall, which inevitably gets more traffic because it's by the mall, but this location has never been good to me and today was no exception he couldn't even take my payment at the register I ended up making a payment by phone from my car in the parking lot and I decided not to shop here because if they can't help me get something done why should I give them more money? I've been a customer for a really long time, I really love the cash back, selection varies upon seasons so it makes it a little difficult to get clothing I like, I have found some nice designer clothes that I love, some staff have awesome service, not management in particular, I had a cash back rewards coupon, when I tried to cash it like I always do, I was within the grace period, but management was not well trained and she said I could not use it even though they had just told me, It was within the grace period shortly before the manager arrived. In all honesty i am completely disappointed ROSS maternity section sucks I bought some pants and they ripped the moment i put them on so i came to kohls and omg they have literally 3 shirts and 3 types of pants THAT ARE THE SAME AS THE ROSS PANTS FOR ALMOST $40 SO DISAPPOINTED at the quality and the super tiny section in the store what are we supposed to wear ? Kohl's cashiers are great. Very personable. Floor associates bring the store down. I was in yesterday by the Christmas decorations and there were two ladies there. Not either one said hello or asked if I was okay. As I walked around the store not one associate that I passed said hello or acknowledged me. At one point one associate looked away when I caught her eye. Why aren't the associates taught to do their job and help customers on the floor? One gentleman almost didn't catch the attention of a younger associate, but she decided that it was her he was trying to talk to. I also passed by an associate who may of been a manager and she did not acknowledge me also. Someone is dropping the ball on customer service in that store. There are other kohl's I feel I can spend my money at. I only bought something because I had a discount coupon from returning something to Amazon. Good luck people. read more

They only have 2 shopping carts with a kid seat in the entire store. So if you are planning on shopping with a toddler make sure you bring your stroller. I forgot mine at home, didn't think it was a big deal since they have carts there. Come to find out they only have two with a kid seat and they were both being used at the time. It's very annoying because I couldn't really shop without having to make sure my toddler wasn't touching anything, so ended up leaving. Why only have two carts in the entire store with a kid seat? I think they need to make it accessible for everyone and not just have two. Very inconvenient! read more

TATIANA WITH THE LONG ORANGE HAIR SHOULD BE FIRED! She is super rude, I am a customer asking questions and she acts like I work there and would know where certain things are. ALSO I have a 2 year old daughter and you know babies will cry, she was super RUDE and told me "do you feed your baby?" WTF SHE DOES NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO QUESTION ME ABOUT MY BABY! This place is confusing. First thing I noticed when I walked in is that there are no signs telling me which department is Men. So I had to walk around until I found it. I noticed when I was leaving that there are a few signs, but the font is small and I still didn't see the one for Men, but I did for some other section. The signs you keep seeing is to tell you that there are dressing rooms. There are tons of those... even in spanish... I think it was written in spanish...?? The main reason I was walking into a Kohls is to find a pair of socks. I am weird about my socks. I can't have any holes.. not even a tiny one. They have to match. Have to be same size, brand, pretty much everything. If I put on a pair of socks that don't feel right I take them off and throw them away. I am sure there is a phobia about that... Trypophobia - fear of holes... nope. Luposlipaphobia - fear of being pursued by timber wolves around a kitchen table while wearing socks on a newly waxed floor... that would be scary, but not what I am looking for. Asymmetriphobia - fear of mismatched socks or asymmetrical objects. Hmm.. close enough. Not that it is a fear.. more like it irritates me and make me feel imbalance. What makes it worse is that when I shop for socks, i feel them for softness and durability. And I go back and forth between pairs for a while. I got lucky here and found a pair of black Nike socks (3 pair pack) and they were buy one pack get one free!! Because of that they got 4 stars. I was going to give them 3. Even better they have a R for right sock and L for left sock, so I no longer have to stare at my socks to determine which one was on my right or left foot. Yes!!! I have a problem... lol. read more

I've been working at this location for about a year now and know almost all of the staff here pretty well and it makes me really sad to see how many people would call all of us lazy or say we don't care about our customers. We are a smaller store and organized differently than some of the other Kohl's locations, but those things are out of our control and not something to complain about. We are always happy to help customers find an item if possible and if we don't have it, we always offer to check another store or find the item online through the in-store kiosk. The only reason the lines seem slower or longer here is that we only have one section of cash registers where other Kohl's stores usually have two. Any time we have a line building up (more than two customers waiting), it's store policy to call for backup cashiers to get the line moving faster. We do everything we can to make sure our customers have the best experience possible and that includes keeping the store clean and organized so it really frustrates me as a hard-working employee to see people have one bad experience and then assume that none of us care or that we're lazy and poorly-trained. I wish people were more understanding and respectful to service-industry workers because I'm pretty sure without our patience and willingness to help, you would all have a much harder time finding the things that you need or want. read more

No thank you. I will not be shopping here again. I don't like deceptive advertising. I had been shopping for a Bissell Floormate for some time. And, had priced them out. They run about $149. Khols was running a sale on them. ($149 on sale from $189). Ok, I get it. Jack up the price, then put it on sale at manufacturers suggested price. Sucky, but whatever. Here's the irky part. I had signed up to get coupons via email, and had a 20% off preferred customer coupon on all items for the Moms Day sale, once my bill hit over $100. Cool beans, right? Wrongo! Once I had the item at the register, the clerk tells me he can only give me 15-20% off IF I either sign up or use a Khols credit card. If not, my coupon isn't good till mid June, well after the moms day sale is over and when my item is back to the rediculously inflated cost. No Bissell for me today. I'll shop at Target from now on. read more

This place has an issue with signs, I guess they find it more efficient to hire someone to tell everyone where the lines begin and end. I went there once to return merchandise and couldn't determine which line I should be in because the instructions were written on the freak'n floor. That's the quickest way to start an argument between customers and cause confusion. It is also the rudest chain department store I've ever visited, and I do so occasionally by accident forgetting that there are no intelligible signs. I don't remember anywhere in my marketing courses where pissing off/confusing customers increases sales. It's gotten to the point where I don't believe they even deserve my online dollars. I sure hope Amazon chooses another store for returns. Online shopping is a Godsend alleviating the need to go into stores unless it's an emergency purchase. read more

The staff here is awful, no one knows what's going on, I literally watched khols cash get handed to the customer before me and then I was told that they weren't issuing khols cash that day. When I spoke to the manager the next day, she told me that they were issuing khols cash and she didn't know why I was told no. And this happened twice with two different purchases only the second time I was told to combine my receipts so I could get the khols cash for that day, but when I went to do that I was told no khols cash would be given that day. 90% of the employees here hate their job. Nothing is organized nothing can be found racks are askew. Staff are no where to be found if you find one they don't work that area and will send someone for you they never come. Figured I'd beat the fools game of attempting to get help and call had something put on hold for me now that I had it at guest services I can relax and finish what things needed to be done early do to places closing and Kohl's is open late. Went in stood inline behind some lady returning a bunch of crap. Like used stuff a toaster, broken coffee maker weird random shit. Finally the lady needed a fix or something she swooped her possessions into her cart and stormed off where I presume she went to target to sing the same song and dance. Got up to the register said hi they put a box of size 7 shoes up here black with white blah blah blah. Girl says I'm sorry I don't see them let me see if anyone knows. Do you know who you spoke to? Why don't I shop at Kohl's, let see, is it because of the poor quality of merchandise or the rudeness of the staff at this local store.? A resounding YES to both. I bought pajamas online for my grand kids and when to the store to pick them up. The a kiosk to check in for online purchase pick up; doesn't work. Got my stuff and was looking for gift boxes, I asked an associate where I could get one, she responded "this is how we package our online purchases (sorry..not even close to the answer to my questions) I had to break down to her the premise of buying a gift, place it in a shirt size gift box and wrapping it for Christmas. She replied with " I don't know where you got the idea we give boxes away but you can go to the back of the store and buy some in the Hallmark section" Really Kohl's... really? to add insult the pj's I bought are full of loose threads and the boys pair has a hole in them No gift boxes, poor customer service, inferior merchandise; any questions? read more

Worse customer service experience with the sales associate Antashia. She should not be helping customers. She is very rude! I went shopping with my daughter for a few things. One thing was a sports bra. She found one that we thought was on sale since it was on the rack with the sales sign, however only 5 of the bras on that rack were on sale. There were words exchanged. I asked to speak to a manager. As she walked away. She said Yeah, you can wait around she's on the phone right now and continue to walk away. Help!! What is going on with Kohl's online customer service. I have been trying to get a hold of them for two days. Currently I have been on hold for over 23 mins. Yesterday I hung up and tried their online customer service chat line and I think it was just an automated robot. Asked me all these questions and then circled back to the same questions again? Then said to hold for an associate. Again over 20 mins and no answer. This is the first time I ever ordered anything by mail from them and the order was incomplete, missing $75 worth of Christmas decorations. I have faith that they will make it good if I can ever get a hold of them. Thanks for letting me vent. Hold time is now 27 mins :( read more
