Merchandise on the floor is always full of variety, but location changes of merchandise are a pretty regular occurrence. They have recently had some confusion in movement upstairs and/or downstairs with the construction/repair on elevators (pro tip: the elevators are to the right of the inside of the main entranced when you're walking in; and stairs on the left). But that's not why I'm leaving a review , it's for the people behind the return counter that not only has the returns for Kohl's, but does all the Amazon returns! They work their butts off!! Full of employees (including secret shoppers) who watch your every move like a hawk. They think everyone is stealing. I can't even enjoy my time at the store because I'm basically being harassed the whole time I'm in there. No wonder the store was completely empty while all the other store at this shopping mall were slap full. I didn't see one single person in the store carrying an item. I also had an older lady walk up to me and ask me why I'm just standing there and told me I need to keep moving and shouldn't be just standing around in the store (I was researching reviews of the item I was purchasing to ensure it was what I wanted). Then right after she walked up to two other employees wearing uniforms that were stalking me since I went up stairs and gave them a thumbs up and they started laughing. Absolutely pathetic. Lady at the cash register asked me if I wanted to sign up with my phone number. Absolutely not, I will never return to this store and honestly should have just left my items and walked out. Management needs an overhaul, your employees could be doing much more productive things, but instead they stalk, harass, and drive customers right out the store to never return. I have already contacted the store manager the same day when I had time and the whole time I was trying to explain to her my situation she would start talking to people around her while I was in the middle of a sentence. I believe it all went in one ear and out the other. Whoever is at the top of the chain needs to be fired and anyone here in leadership, maybe then you'll actually have customers return and make profit. The only positive thing I can say about this store is they had nice quality stuff here and I got a good pair of running shoes I needed. Kohl's used to be the place for me ... I had a credit card to that store and shopped there at least once or twice a week. About four years ago they changed their coupons and made them not work on about anything I purchase. Like Macy's, they went to the long list of "small print" exclusions. And for a while they had an almost nonexistent return policy. So I canceled my card and stopped shopping there. Well I made my first purchase in five years because their price on a watch for my Dad beat Macy's lowest price by $40. Then of course I had to spend my Kohl's cash so I went in the store. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the coupons were stackable again... and mostly worked on jewelry. I just recently learned about Kohl's "Kohl's Cash" scam. If there is a chance you might need to return your purchase, DON'T use Kohl's Cash. You will pay a substantial penalty when you try to make the return. I didn't shop at Kohl's enough to learn about this serious problem. You can spend a lot of time trying to understand how they get away with the scam that allows them to keep a large portion of your money even though the merchandise is returned. Yes they get sued over this all the time but so far their attorneys have done a good job of keeping the judges as confused as I am. Just know that "Kohl's Cash" works great for Kohl's and NOT their customers, that's why they developed it. I wish someone had warned about this. read more

Brickyard Kohl's is located in the middle of the Brickyard Plaza between T J Maxx and Harmons. They have a variety of clothing, with several designer brands, housewares, bedding, cookware, shoes, bags, jewelry and perfume. Everything you expect from a middle tier department store, with good quality. I like shopping their sales. You can get some really good margins especially if you shop their clearance section. There is always something in the clearance section year round, it's not just seasonal. If you use a Kohl's credit card you can get extra discounts via their Kohl's cash. Think monopoly money. The timeline for Kohl's cash coupon is short so pay attention to the experation dates. read more

I went to kohls to buy some pantsand a few other clothing Items. My card has had a zero balance since this last spring. With a 700 dollar limit. Good to go......Hell no these bastards cut off my card of almost 10 years because I didn't use it. For 6 months. If these assholes aren't making money off you all the time then they don't care about you. I thought the credit was given to people who pay there bills on time and don't always use it. I normally just use cash. After this I will spend it some where else after 10 years with about $1000 a year spend I am going to take my business to another business who respect there customers, but embarace them at the register by cancelling their card FOR PAYING THEIR CARD. stay away from the kohls card program. read more

I was next in line and went to walk up to the register and the cashier put her stop hand up as high as she could from the stool she was sitting on and shouts out "I'm not open!" So I stepped back and waited until the next cashier calls me up.. not one cracked smile, welcome, how are you? nothing from this one either! I think a smile in the customer service industry is at least a minimum? Am I wrong? Not a pleasant experience to say the least. This is the worst Kohl's store in Utah. The manager Hannah definitely needs some training on how to talk to customers. I went in to use some Kohl's cash and rewards I earned for shopping during Christmas time and they had their yoga pants on sale for $17.99 with a sign that also said buy one get half off. Apparently they tried to inform me that the sign was out by mistake. I talked to Hannah whom was very rude and told me she would not honor the sale. I said you are false advertising and she said I quote "yep". I said fine if this is what your store does then I want to cancel the order. I took pictures of all of the sale and left....I won't ever shop there again. read more

I wouldn't normally review a place like this, but it does have a couple strong points for it. The first is that they have some nice stuff. Unlike a few other places close by (ShopKO, the recently revamped Smith's Marketplace, Wal-Mart, Ross, TJ Maxx), it's not packed to the gills with ill-fitting crap of questionable or outright suspect quality. Staff, when you can track them down, are also very helpful. There is probably not enough of them and given the barely organized chaos of most of the place, it seems more a certainty. Organization is also somewhat interesting, but they do have an abundance of dressing rooms, which are pretty conveniently located, reasonably spacious and with easy access overall. Where this place falls apart is that lack of staffing. The clothes shelves are frequently a disaster, with pants stuffed haphazardly around and a scattering of clothing, regardless of line, in and out of clearance and everything else. Inventory control is little to non-existent here, which makes shopping take about 5X longer and also makes it a tremendous chore. Were this more maintained, this place would definitely be pushing another star, especially given their sort of clever return program, which features nearly endless money off of the clothes. What this means, of course, is without these things, you're overpaying, but it seems to be successful, as this place always has a pretty steady collection of shoppers. Given how much I loathe clothes shopping, it's not a place I make a habit of frequenting, but when I need somewhat higher end stuff, it always does the job. read more

It's about run-of-the mill for a Kohl's store. They have a very strong selection of clothing, bed and bath essentials at reasonable prices. It seems like they're always having a sale or promotion, which can be good, but the pricing is sometimes hit or miss. For example, they have electronic price tags that should update automatically, but sometimes they're out of commission. Or, the shelves are so ransacked that you can't really tell what belongs where. The staff here was really helpful on my last visit, but the Kohl's customer retention schemes are kind of annoying. Like they push the Kohl's card on you, and you get rewards as well as "Kohl's Cash" that can only be used during a small window the week following your shopping trip. If you're like me, I go to Kohl's maybe once every few months; to make the trek out again right after going the first time seems silly. read more

I wasn't really sure what a Kohl's store was until I walked in the door today. I was not in the market for clothes so I went right up stairs to look at home goods and linens. I knew the prices of things as I have been shopping around for a month or so trying to make our new house into a home. I found the prices there to be quite a bit higher than just about any other place I have looked. About twenty to thirty percent higher. And I ended up finding much better quality things in the same shopping center at Ross. My first time in a Kohl's shall be my last. Kohls confounds me. It seems like a nice store, but everything I've purchased there promptly shrinks or tears within a few weeks. The cloths are outrageously priced for the very cheap quality. Also, this branch is run like a consignment store. Clothes are very often ripped beyond repair or obviously stained, then marked down a bit as if you'd still want a stained blouse with a tear down the front. A note to the talls and the fats: they seem to like short, average-sized people. I'm plus-sized and 5'10", so even if I hunt down pants with a large enough waist they're wicked high-waters. Overall, this store isn't worth the trouble. Go to Target or even JCPenney for the same (or better) fashion sense at a better price. read more

They need to hire people with better customer skills. Was placed on hold for an hour while they looked for a shirt which the website said was in stock, so I ended up going to the store by myself and found the shirt in less than 10 minutes. Also the last time I came to this location the cashiers were openly talking badly about the customer in front of her. In addition, when my mom asked about a coupon and she didn't understand why they couldn't use it, instead of explaining the situation the main cashier rudely told the cashier "Don't give it to her." I have a Kohls CC and I do get a lot of coupons as a result. I find the selection at this store fairly good. However it's often in disarray when I go. They're usually willing to help if you can find an associate. But the prices are high - I would suggest combing the clearance because that's where you'll find the best deals. This particular store is, in my opinion, in a great location. It's fairly convenient to stop by. But the lack of employees are the messiness I usually experience are a major fall back. I had $60 in kohl's cash which I used during a 20% off everything sale, so I got lots of Christmas shopping done. As usual, the store was messy and there weren't any employees in the dressing rooms to help, but the cashier was efficient and friendly. This store is more difficult to navigate because there are two floors. Plenty of parking in a big strip mall. I didn't see their books and stuffed animals for charity by the front--maybe they don't have space because of holiday items. read more

They did the transaction as a return, so it deleted my Kohls cash. I asked to speak with a manager to get the situation resolved. My 90 year old grandma almost slipped and fell in their rest room because a non handicapped employee was on the phone in the handicapped stall. The employee ended up calling me a bitch because "it's just a rest room, and she should be able to use the other stalls", my grandma is currently disabled and cannot stand without her walker, witch that employee forced her out of to use the bathroom. The regular prices are crazy high! ... just like every department store. I happen to have a Kohls card, i get discounts in the mail. I only ever go in when they send me a 30% off deal. I don't have much of a reason to shop here unless I'm looking for shoes, slacks or a dress shirt and cant find what i need at TJMAXX, across the parking lot. They keep it clean. The employees are nice enough. They need more of a selection in brand name athletic wear. read more

It was my first experience ever in a Kohls just last week. I had to exchange 1 item in which I had a gift receipt. I entered the store and saw a loooong line (week of christmas). I hoped I didnt have to stand in it twice. I asked the girl at the register if I did and how much my return would be. She said $28 and I just could get what I wanted. I shopped with my 5month old and waited in line. i found 2 items on sale for 50% but not the same item. I got to the register and the woman said I had to go to customer service because it wasnt an exact item exchange. I was frustrated since I waited in the long line. I told the woman I had an exchange for these 2 items. She told me the return was 11.77. I was annoyed. Then she handed me a gift card. So I had to go back to the other line again -- don't forget I am holding my sleeping 5 month old. I finally get to the register and i tell the girl i just want 1 item for the exchange. Taylor walks over and ask how i am doing. I said annoyed. I told her why. She said Im sorry and let me help. She was sooooo kind and discounted the 2 items I was holding to equal the amount of the return I had. She didn't have to and I didnt ask. This place was a complete disaster! From the moment I walked in and wanted to ask a question about returns to the lady at the register who was on her phone playing a game or texting, she literally pointed her index finger up to me as to say, " just one minute". What nerve! And then when I walked around the store trying to find exactly what I came in for that I was exchanging sizes, I could not find anyone who worked there for about 7 minutes! And when I did, the employee did not know the departments whatsoever. She was so frazzled cleaning and trying to just hang stuff up because everything was on the floor draped over things, previously stepped on and a complete mess. I told her to the item I wanted and showed her the tags of the item I had previously bought because they were the same, she ended up being the one who worked in the women's Department but from my previous traveling around the store knew where the stuff was located better than she did. When I decided to try something on before I exchange my item for it I asked her to wait just a few seconds for me outside the door and she did not. I called out for her a few times even by name and she was nowhere to be found. I even left the fitting room to get her. I never did see her the rest of my horrible 90 minute shopping experience. They desperately need more employees on staff and need to cross train people in different areas so that when you might eventually find an employee they might actually know at least the general area where something is or how to find it. Pretty much the entire store was in almost as much disarray and as disgusting as Burlington Coat Factory on State Street in Murray. Oh and I do have to add everything is so horribly overpriced! Very poor quality on all the clothing and Jewelry is ridiculously expensive. If I could give this zero Stars I would read more
