I called up the store, and the Lady responsible for men's wear was really helpful - The Best part, she knew exactly the Shirt that i was talking about! I like Kohls department store, it has better merchandise than Sears, JC Penny and rivals Macys. The staff are generally friendly if you find them. Kohls carries enough merchandise for the whole family, juniors, teens, adult apparel, along with household items (pots/ pans), bathroom and kitchen stuff. If you carry a Kohls card, you get monthly discount coupons in the mail for 15%, 20% and 30% off. So you generally save if you shop monthly. They run some good sales occasionally (but be aware, that they usually mark up prior to sale sticker, so you never really get 70% off) where you get Kohls cash which is $10 off every $50 you spend which can be used on any merchandise, no restrictions. The returns department is good, if you can find a cart, the store is well laid out with enough space between the aisles to find merchandise. I generally have a good experience each time I shop here. The checkout aisles are hit or miss, no lines (short) or around holidays (crazy, wrap around the store), they have them on both fronts, in the men and womens department, so check for the shortest line. read more

Department stores aren't my favorite to shop in but I've had great experiences with employees here. I've always been helped when I ask and I've even had some employees help me out with purchases when I needed a second opinion which I really appreciate in a store. Kohls cash always keeps me coming back, great promotion. It's a good thing they do so many discount programs throughout the year though because the original price tags are pretty high. Con: They run out of small sizes here pretty fast and I wish they had a better shoe selection. read more

I ordered some jewelry for a gift, it arrived in a zipper bag and the jewelry dept no longer exists. I went to return the item, I was given $40 less than I paid. Was told that I had used Kohl's cash which was a flat lie, she refused to get a supervisor. When I called customer service, they are not even in the USA. Disputed with my bank. The worst customer service. Was sent to customer service desk in the back to check on an item availability. Spent more than 20 minutes between a nice new girl who does not know anything and an older lady seems senior here with slow and rude and careless about customers time and concerns. Then sent to the kiosk to find it my own and was not working. Every employee send you to find another one that is not existing. Very poor customer service. I work loss prevention and it's fun for me when I go into other stores and try to figure who's their loss prevention and this store has two. Both fit the bill if you know what to look for it's obvious. It was funny how the whole store turns their attention to you when you're a suspect. Tips for Kohls's: CUSTOMER SERVICE if I was a real shoplifter I could steal the whole store because no one asked if I needed help. LP guy with hair I marked you as soon as I walked to the service desk but for ppl who can't pick an LP out maybe instead of walking in the middle aisle maybe walk the walls. It's hard not to notice a 6'ish guy hardcore staring at you. Finally give me some room to leave the store. Was supposed to have a scheduled interview in which I never received the call. In the workday app and email it clearly says if you haven't received a call 15 past the time scheduled to call the store. So I did . The woman who answered was nice, put me on hold and then let me know the manager would call me back, but then another voice got on the phone. This person sounded rude, talked so fast I could barely understand her. Every word was short, and very limited explanation. She says," yea you probably didn't receive a call because the manager is in a meeting right now, and well they'll have to call you back." I said, "okay." She started mumbling things like what was your name, what position did you apply for, since the manager is busy I am going to just record this down as your interview and put your availability and let him decide on the hiring. Is this your first job? (I'm 31 this isn't my first application or job lady) She talked so Dam fast, I answered her, gave her my whole background. Mind You I said Im only available weekends. She said NO WE NEED FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY if it's weekends only sorry. But I'll write it down. So this is considered a interview since the manager is busy. I'll just mark it down is all she kept saying. I came here with my sister who was looking for swimsuit, shorts and sandal bargains.\ She came in the store with a list and came out with both of her hands and my hands full of shopping bags. Good place for one stop shopping for the family- lots of sales throughout the store. The only hassle are returns, theres a separate line for that in the back of the store. You can only exchange for same price items at the cash registers in front of the store. read more

The worst website register process ... no matter what I do, change passwords, etc., there's always an error. The same with their app, using their shortened time period reward program. It was better when you could use rewards anytime. I like the stores but customer service is limited these days & the frustration of the app and website, is inexcusable. Ugh really Kohl's! What's going on with this location these days. Last week when I went they did not open the doors on time. There was a crowd waiting 10/15 mins past opening time to get in the store. Then today I had to return an item. They had a new employee that didn't know what she was doing working returns and the line for returns was backed up. I returned a pair of SEALED UNOPENED headphone and she was inspecting the box and kept asking if I opened them. I said no. And she then had someone from the department the headphones belong in come and look at the box. He said you can see they have not been opened as there are stickers not broken on the box. DUH! I told you that the 4 times you asked me. Customer service has gone downhill here. read more

I've been to a couple of Kohl's (This one, the one in Milpitas, and one on McKee) and this is the most organized Kohl's out of the three. I have always gotten great customer service here from the employees. Every time I go there, the staff is hard at work, running around in departments or helping customers out. I ALWAYS see them doing something. The cashiers are nice. The customer service people are nicer! They are more than happy to return any item at any time for you and they're really kind about it. Usually at other places, people give you snotty looks if you're returning things. Once in a while, they are understaffed, but that's not the employee's fault. It's not their fault that there aren't more people working that day. There are various reasons as to why a store would be understaffed and I'm completely understanding about that. I ordered jeans from kohls.com because none of the stores carried the rare size I needed. Ordering online was a pleasure. However, only two out of the four pair I ordered fit, so I went in to Kohl's to return the other two. What a nightmare! I realize it was two days after Christmas, so I expected a bit of a line. But when I got there, there were 24 people ahead of me in the customer service line. I waited over an hour. When I got close enough to the front to see the counter, I saw that there was only one person working. How could they possibly have only one person working to take returns in customer service two days after Christmas?? The person who was two in front of me in line took over 10 minutes just for her alone. When I was close to the front of the line, another employee walked up behind the counter and we all thought, "thank goodness!" but no, she was apparently just there to take up space. She never opened a register. She stood there and used her fingernails to apparently take sticky stuff off merchandise tags. Also, there were literally dozens of employees walking around, going to the break room (which is right next to customer service), in and out of the customer service area -- but apparently not one of those many employees could possibly actually man a register. When another person who was in line behind me approached the employee who was basically just standing there doing nothing, and asked if another register could be opened, the employee replied that there was no one available. The customer asked that a manager be called. The employee made a quick call on her walkie-talkie, then said the manager had left for the day. The customer asked if there was anyone else who could be called. The employee said, "I did everything I could!" The entire time, the employee was unbelievably rude; her attitude was terrible. It's hard to explain in words, but her demeanor and tone of voice implied that she thought the customer had just crawled out of a hole, and was being unbelievably unreasonable. I was appalled by her lack of professionalism. While waiting in line, I looked around the store, and it reminded me of a Ross store. It seemed very disorganized, like a place you'd go just to look around, but nowhere you'd go to try to find a particular item. There were items lying all over in the wrong places, like customers had changed their minds and just left them there, and no employees were putting them back where they belonged. By the time I left, there were 37 people in line (yes I counted). I may shop online again, but I will never again set foot in this store. Horrible. read more

Ordered some boots online and tried to do an even exchange sincevthe one that came in the mail werr damaged. The lady in customer service was absolutely NO help. She basically told me the best thung I could do was to go online and order the shies again then cime back to get my money back for the first pair. I asked if she could look uo other stores and she told me I could check the kiosk but they were all broken. She didnt try to even help me find another pair and there was NO line at customer service. I went to look for a pair of running shoes. I found a pair that I wanted and had a retail-me -not coupon on my iPhone that I wanted to use. The cashier did not know how to use it and the shift manager, who appeared to be hard at work staring at her cashiers while leaning on a counter to hold it up, stated she had never heard of retail-me-not and refused to get a higher manager at my request. When I stated that I found the experience frustrating that they would not honor the coupon, she was fine with losing the sale. Her name is Carole. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I loves me some Kohl's...clearance sections! OH YEAH, BABY! I find the best stuff and get compliments on it and when people ask I'm like "yeah, I got this cute dress for $9.60 at Kohl's!" That's right. I just wore a black, cotton jersey knit dress from there to work earlier this week. People complimented me on it all day and they thought I bought it at Macy's. This review is specifically for the manager Carol. I had an issue picking up a order I placed online and a bad experience . I called to ask for a manager and Carol took the time to listen and and assured me she would speak to the employees who were involved. She kept her word and called me back in less than 2 hours. She was extremely apologetic and made sure to let me know that what I experienced would not happen again. She told me to ask for her next time I was in the store. So my daughter and j went in tonight to shop, and I met Carol. What a nice sweet and professional woman. She remembered exactly who I was and was extremely helpful. My mother had a horrible experience at Kohl's this weekend in San Jose/Blossom Hill. She went to purchase an item that had two signs above it. One said 50% off, the other said 2 for 1. When she went to the register she expected to receive the items for 25%. I admit, I personally wouldn't expect that, but what happened next made my job drop. The clerk asked someone to check the signs on the floor. The phone call back said there was no sign. My mother paid for her item (at 2 for 1 price), then went to the floor to check the signs. There she saw an employee with the 50% off sign in her hand. When my mother asked to see it, the employee hid it behind her back! My mother insisted on the sign and brought it to the register. There the cashier told her to wait for the manager, the manager who was acting as cashier in another lane, told my mother to wait in line again. So after waiting in line (again), my mother explained what had happened, ... how the employee on the floor lied about there being no sign, how they hid the sign, and how she believed she should receive the sign's promises of both 2 for 1 and 50% off. The manager explained she could have one or the other but she would not/could not honor both. The manager explained how the sign should have been taken down before the store opened, but it was a human error. My mother pointed out that a customer could not know that, and in fact there was no date on the 50% off sign to indicate a time limit. I am not sure how much this clothing item cost at 50% more off, but they have have lost a customer for life with my shopaholic mom. She asked me to write this letter to yelp and to the Weights and Measures scanner complaint line with Santa Clara County. She has also told this story (many times) to my family, relatives, and friends. I have to say, obviously one employee of the store thought they should honor both signs if they tried to physically and verbally hide it. It is amazing to me that the manager could not offer one item essentially at 25% more off, when the store is giving away coupons at the local Safeway for $10 off a $10 item. This experience will forever be on my mind if I decide to shop at Kohl's. read more

I needed some new jeans so I decided to check out Kohls to save a couple of bucks. I purchased some levis for $50, this is regular priced, but what the heck, I get $10 kohls cash for future purchases. I wore my jeans the next day to work and one of my co workers pointed out how one of the jeans leg was wider then the other. It was very noticeable and it was hell for me that day. Everyone was roasting me, even the managers. The only thing I could say is "I got it for cheap" when truly I know I didn't. I had to lie to myself for some comfort, it was that sad. I tried to return the jeans that evening and explained to them the reason why i wanted to return it... and they had dare to say it was made like that when for damn sure it was obviously not. They refuse to allow me to return it or speak to a manager. They told me the manager is busy with important stuff. Wth I care, I just want to speak someone who may reason with me. I tried to save some money but got stuck with a defective jeans and useless kohl bucks. I accept this loss. Some places have a 'no hassle return' policy, while Kohls hassle you until you give up. They pay someone 9/hr to argue with you, they have time, not you. I will be contacting Levis regarding to this issue and see if they can exchange my pair. I think it may be possible that Kohls are picking up defective jeans from dumpsters behind Levi factories. They bundle these up with some kohl bucks and sell them at retail. read more

You can't really dislike Kohl's. The prices are great! I come here for little shopping sprees when I can because they always have a ton of stuff on sale. And I love the kohls cash I get that forces me to come back! It's a vicious cycle. They really have everything I need... Stuff for my apartment, shoes, perfume, bags, clothes, cute accessories. I always do at least a good portion of my Xmas shopping here too. Definitely one of my fave dept stores! read more

This was an average Kohl's store. The clothes were arranged in a nice way - easy to figure out the layout. They had a good clearance section as well. We had to wait for a bit at checkout, but they were just busy. Most workers came up to help. read more

Kohls is my favorite department store. The store has been remodeled as this used to be the old K-mart building. Very large car park. Staff is very helpful, store is large with racks and racks of clothes. If you sign up for their store card, they will mail you 12 times a year coupons for 15%, 20%, 30% off so you save big. On occasion they run sales where you get $10 cash for every $50 spent, which you can use on anything in the store. What's not to like. This store is a zoo come Thanksgiving, but most stores are. 5 stars, me likey Kohls very much! read more

I have been a customer of this store since it opened the branch. Under duress, I obtained a Kohls Card and am sent promo codes via email. I noticed that all of the codes expired yesterday. The store will not accept my promo even though it is only one day late. They have another promotion tomorrow but I need to purchase items for my son tonight. It is disappointing that this store is not more "customer friendly." I guess I will have to go to Walmart instead. read more
