Absolutely upset at the customer service received. You take things back from years ago zero questions asked. No receipt required. That is supposed to be your customer service promise. Well you fail in every other way. It is Sept 4th at 6:00pm this way you can check to see who was working the desk. Three older ladies were the least hopeful what so ever. I wanted to purchase two items that were not available for coupons in store. I went online to purchase the two items to receive the coupon. One of the items showed that it was not in stock. Which clearly was since I had it in my hand at the store. I then asked if I could purchase a comparable item online and exchange it for the one I want after it was said there is nothing we can do that's the problem with online. Then was told I needed to go grab the other item off the shelf they had to have it at the desk. By this point I had already did all the online order myself. The young lady who was at the register had helped me the most even when she wasn't exactly sure how to handle the transaction. Maybe some better customer service skill procedures should be discussed with the three older ladies at the desk, especially when they are training the young lady at the desk. read more

This used to be my favorite Kohl's. It was clean, convenient and safe. Well, after last night, the "safety" factor is in question. Yesterday evening around 7pm a lady (customer) at Kohls was screaming at me, banging at my changing room door and then kicking it to break the lock!!! I opened the door and she did back up, but both I and the lady in the changing across from me were shocked. I asked where the manager was and she yelled she didn't know, but someone had stolen her daughter's wallet/purse and "they had to still be in here". I closed and locked my door again to get dressed and she and her grown daughter continued yelling. When I went to leave the changing room the mother ran into my room to search it and there was finally an associate present (still no manager or security) and the associate looked at what was in my arms and unzipped my purse to prove I didn't take the woman's belongings. When I called this morning to tell the manager (Meagan) she said at that time their security was busy in the parking lot with Live Oak police about another altercation. She said that she did get to the scene where the women were still upset, but it must have been after I left the area. Only one associate was present during the 10-15 minutes that I was there. My mood has really soured and I doubt I'll ever visit this Kohls again. I feel badly the woman lost her wallet/purse, but if that happened to me I'd get police, a manager or security right away and not try to break into other peoples dressing rooms! I like Kohls but I'm concerned about their attempts to lower operational costs is concerning. More than half the staff has been replaced by self check out. It's hard to get assistance while shopping around in the store. The only humans left are in customer service. Due to this the lines are ridiculously long. As a night shift ER and ICU nurse who works 90 hours a week and single mom its hard to get out and shop. Yes, I realize that businesses close but if I come in 15 minutes prior there's a reason. I can't stop people from coming into my ICU or ER 15 minutes before my end of shift. However, Patty the cashier was amazing. Everybody else made me feel rushed and unimportant. I wasn't allowed to try on clothes and four other people came up to me telling me that they close within minutes. I love Kohls. I shop at Kohl's constantly. I've had a Kohls charge for 9 years now and am an elite member and receive extra Kohls cash etc. let me tell you I've been to a bad Kohls before. This was BY FAR the worst one and unfortunately it's in my new neighborhood. There is absolutely no point in order pick up. I stood by myself in the order pick up line for ten minutes and was completely ignored. Why waste your time ordering online and coming into the store when that's supposed to save time because here it doesn't. Then I decided to shop a bit more. Something was tagged wrong. I waited with the cashier for 10 minutes and no one on duty came to help her. Ever. I ended saying forget it and left the item. This location sucks. There are always really great sales going on and with the added bonus of "Kohl's Cash" you basically get items for free! They carry super cute clothes for the entire family that are almost always marked 30% or more, insanely reasonable bedding, and name brand cookware from Racheal Ray and Food Network. Sent this letter to an email I got that was supposedly from Alan the manager: Dear Alan, I am a loyal Kohl's shopper. Most of my clothes are from Kohl's. But I have to say shopping at your store has become increasingly more challenging. The clothes are often very unorganized and messy. It makes it impossible to find my size. And today, I couldn't help but notice how trashy the parking lot was. This Kohl's is the nicest one out of the four in the San Antonio area. They have good deals and they know how to sucker me into their store. I get coupons for them in the mail a lot. I haven't had any for this month, but I am sure I will have some for next month in the next few days. The store is nicer than the ones along 1604. This one looks presentable in the shirts and all that. But when you get farther along in the store where the Gloria Vanderbilt jeans are at, it gets messier. It would help if the customer would put things near where he/she found the item. It doesn't have to be in the exact spot, but it would help if the customers would be more considerate of the employees. I am a cashier at the Randolph AFB Main Exchange. Some people have no respect for employees at any store. It make me upset and angry when people think retail isn't work. Have they ever worked in retail before to even know what it's like? People in retail work their butts off to keep the store presentable and up to the standards of the store manager. The store is nice and bright. And sometimes, the light if you are in the right spot is too bright. I was once under a light that shone in my eyes like the sun. I thought it was the sun at first. The employees are respectful and leave you alone if you say you're just looking. In some stores, that isn't the case, especially at Macy's. I think that other stores need to take a lesson from Kohl's on that. One time I asked a lady at Macy's why she wouldn't leave me be so I could look. She said well, that's how we're trained. Kohl's has good bargains. Sometimes they don't have the selection you think they should. Some stuff you see online isn't in store yet even though it doesn't say online only. One time, years ago I wanted to see if they have a mother's day necklace for my mom and the lady at the jewelry counter said in a strained tone of voice that it was online only. I told her it didn't say that, I told this lady that I made darn sure as to whether it was online only. I haven't attempted to buy fine jewelry at Kohl's since then. I wasn't going to be talked to disrespectfully again. It was only a couple weeks before mother's day because I like to but my gifts early before it gets pawed on by hundreds of people. They need to go by size . Put a size 2 at the top and a size 16 at the bottom. This would really help the customer looking for a specific size in the women's department. I don't want to have to dig through a ton of clothes to get what I am looking far. They need to label what sizes go where and this way the customer and employees can avoid confusion. It would also save the customer time and the customer wouldn't get frustrated looking for her size in the clothes. The same goes with the shirts put a small in front and extra large in the back and go from there. It would save the person from having to maneuver shirts to look for the size. The same goes with the pajamas that are hanging on the walls that aren' t folded up. This would save anyone time be it a man who might be looking to buy a gift for someone. I hate having to dig around to find the size I need. I think it is just stupid to have to dig around to find the size I need. The solution would be here is to work as a team and make sure that the sizes are put in order from smallest to biggest at all times and it would help if the customer would consider the employees. That is part of the problem. Employees are always pressed for time because they have time limits to spend in each section of their department. They need to monitor the dressing rooms better. The dressing rooms are messy, except for the lingerie department. That one is always nice and clean. It doesn't look like someone barfed up clothes in the dressing rooms. It is really off putting when I go into a dressing room and find people's clothes all over the place. The customers need to think of the employees at this store, and especially other department stores like JCPenney, Macy's, etc. I hate it when I go in a dressing room and find at least one person's clothes in there. Sometimes it looks as if there were multiple people in the dressing room before me. When the customer is done with trying on the clothes, the customer needs to take the clothes out of the dressing room and put on the rack provided. If it doesn't fit on the rack, put on the small table near the rack or in the bottom of the rack so that the employee doesn't have to check every dressing room for clothes. This is one of the worst places for dressing room messiness. I cannot tell you how some dressing rooms look because you have to see it for yourself to believe it. Always has excellent sales! Got a jacket yesterday that is normally $74.95 for $14.99!! The cashier was super friendly and helpful. Wife and I visited this location today. Overall the store is well taken care of. While my wife was trying on clothes she ran to grab another shirt. When she returned after 30 seconds. Her personal shirt was gone. She asked the girls working and they all were like " we didn't take your shirt ma'am" . Not saying you took it we simply asked them to return because they accidentally picked it up from the dressing room. One of the girls asked her manager and her manager was like " I guess we'll just have to find it " "we've never had someone lose a shirt" My wife didn't lose her shirt it was picked up by one of the associates by accident. Then she just walked away. Because we were pressed for time my wife just grabbed a cheap shirt and bought it so she can take off the shirt she had tried on and didn't like before the incident. We approached the store manager and asked for the district managers number she said "what happened ? "Oh wait you're the one with the shirt issue "..... she offered us Kohl's cash and I was like we don't want the money my wife wants her shirt back. She gave my wife 10 dollars kohl's cash !!?? I excitedly came in to use my $40 gift card to buy some essentials for my household. I shopped around finding a few things and carried on towards the register. Along the way I decided to check if the sale price Kohl's is advertising for the Ninja Blender beats the competitors. I ended up finding the price for this ninja blender is 69.99 at Home Depot, Bed Bath and Beyond as well as Best Buy. Knowing that virtually all retail stores price match these days I just asked if they would try. Tonya at the register was nice but she was too new to help so we called over a woman by the name of KERI to ask if they would price match, she said she would go ahead and check with another manager and be back to let me know. So I stood by watching as about one dozen different groups of people checked out.. both Tonya and I glanced eyes and looked around noticing how much time had passed.. finally Tonya asked for someone to call a manager to the front. After waiting a few more minutes now totaling almost 28 minutes MEGAN shows up. She, very inconsiderate of how much time I have wasted, tells me no to price matching the three stores that are within a mile saying it is against their policy. To me that's understandable but the way she delivered that was with complete disinterest and lack of concern that I've been waiting almost 30 minutes to get denied this simple thing. When I express to her that I've been waiting this long for a simple answer she blows me off and runs back from where she had rushed in from.
