The girls that worked there were sweet and friendly and put up with me and my girlfriends who were in town to shop. They had initial necklaces and rings that I wanted to purchase but I had already reached my limit on what I was going to buy that day. I would make this a regular stop if I lived close by to see what new items they have on their shelves. They also had a large sale section that I did not even go through because as mentioned above I'm pregnant but when this little man comes out I would love to see what they have in store.

I browsed around and found a plethora of cashmere sweaters from rack to rack. I have never seen so many different cashmere sweaters in one boutique shop. It was quite fantastic. My grandmother, great aunts, mom, cousins and I all have a love for cashmere sweaters. It's the perfect fabric for 3 out of 4 seasons. I found 5 different cashmere sweaters and all different styles, cuts and colors too. The burgundy with the two cut out on the upper chest looked fun, but it wasn't so flattering on. Plus I tend to wear them to keep me warm and the cutouts would make it drafty for sure. The dark color didn't suit me well either. The gray with the angled shoulders looked unique, but made me think of Star Trek every time I looked at it. Didn't suit me either. The pink and gray vintage seamed was loose but not too baggy. My husband found it baggy on me, but it was quite comfy. The other pale pink sweater fit me like a glove and the sleeves were nice too and the whole sweater was form fitting. The first gray sweater is my absolute favorite. It caught my eye on the mannequin and that's the one I bought since it fit me perfectly. I liked the cinched or gathered design all over the sweater. It fit me well and the design is subtle but unique enough. 3 new cashmere sweaters to keep me toasty and warm this fall / winter for years to come. Service was good. Will be back for more cashmere sweaters in the future.

The space is noticeably bigger than their previous one, which gives them more staging area and space to offer larger pieces of furniture, artwork, and clothing in addition to all the unique goodies they already carried within the store that are smaller scale. Everything here is extremely pricey, which is unfortunate for me given that there are many things I love from here, but I just simply can't justify spending exorbitant amounts of money on these sorts of homegoods and accessories too often. The products they carry are definitely geared towards the more affluent and those with lofty home design ideas, as they also have fabric samples and the like to help you design and customize your furniture and upholstery upon them in the back of the store too. The price tags make sense in the sense that I have not seen any of the products they offer in any other stores in the metro Detroit area, so there's nothing to compare their goods to. This is a great place to window shop or stop in to get inspiration for your home and to pick up a unique piece or two. I'm still thinking about the tatted up Albert Einstein piece of artwork (included in the photos!), which I love so much, but even just the print of it without it framed was already $70-80 and that's a hard price to justify even for hot Albert Einstein! I like how every time I stop in to Talulah Belle, there's always new discoveries to be had. They clearly refresh their stock frequently and it's always great to stop in here for inspiration and intentionally unique gifts for the loved ones in your life...including yourself!

Sadly, the home section is super small here. They did have a lot of salt lamps, and I saw some nice book end ones. I did not see other types of crystals though. However, I was super excited when I stopped by the jewelry section. I saw necklaces with some of my favorite semi-precious stones. I also saw a lot of bracelets as well. I ended up purchasing this adorable bracelet for only $14 on sale. It was one of my favorite stone adventurine and it had a turtle on it. It looked very beachy. I saw a super cool Tigers eye bracelet as well. A lot of these necklaces and bracelets were on sale, with many only at $13 a piece. I wanted to buy so many to be honest, but ended up choosing the one for now. I want to come back another day for some more.

I have been buying a lot of my skincare products from TJ Maxx, like facial cleanser, toner, and face serum. TJ Maxx carries such a wide variety of premium skincare products, including Clinique, Estée Lauder, and Shiseido. I bought some organic cleanser that was significantly less expensive than what it was listed for on Amazon and high-end department stores. I have also bought gourmet food products like truffle oil, pesto, and pasta. I was a late fan and didn't really start shopping at TJ Maxx until around five years ago. TJ Maxx has been one of my favorite places to shop during the pandemic. I can pretty much find anything I'm looking for here.

The clothes/accessories are also unique, but totally wearable, dress up, dressed down, casually on the weekends, to work, out to a concert. Everything. Versatile! If you are looking for a place to consign your clothes, look elsewhere--unless you enjoy risking your items going missing without a trace or spending hours looking for your items. The owner herself didn't explain the process upfront which would give anyone pause from leaving their stuff here. Rather was rude when I said she didn't explain it upfront. There was zero accountability for lost or stolen items. When you hand your clothes over to a consignment shop, there is an expectation of basic care and security. Sadly, that is completely absent here. They have a policy that basically shrugs off theft or loss. They simply do not care about protecting your inventory. I had a few items that I never was able to find and the owner was no help. I was given attitude for any question I had. Spent hours looking for my items. Originally when I asked the owner how it worked, she failed to mention that I would have to look for everything myself at pickup. When my consignment period was up, I had to go through the crowded racks and hunt down every item myself. I spent so much time digging through racks just to recover some of my belongings. As a customer, a consignment shop should provide a level of partnership and trust. This place takes your items, cuts you out of the loop if they get stolen, and forces you to do the heavy lifting when you want them back. Save your time, your energy, and your items--consign somewhere that actually values its clients or better yet donate them to someone who really needs them.

My dad told me about this store so we decided to give it a shot. The store is crazy busy inside because they have amazing deals. Even though it was busy, this gentleman measured him and got him in a suit so fast. He tried on another blue one with a slightly different color and chose that one. The gentleman told him to pick out any ahirt and tie as well. We weren't sure what the price was so we asked. He said it was $139 for the whole suit, tie, and shirt. The only additional charge is any alterations. It only cost $15 for the alterations though. He said it will be ready on Wednesday for pickup any time. We are so excited. The process was super easy and fast. We will definitely be back to get more.

The gentleman there was quick to help us find my son's size and assist with getting everything picked out. This suit was needed for a funeral so it was very short notice. They were able to hem the pants and have them ready for me the next day. My nephew also bought his suit here at the very last minute and the two looked handsome as can be!
