Food was really good! We were here for a quick lunch after the whole family hair cut. We were so hungry and didn't want to go too farther to get lunch so we decided to come here. Such a nice surprise! We enjoyed everything here, food was so well prepared and represented l, tasty too. We will come again next time we are nearby.

Stopped by during lunch and the doors were locked 5 minutes after their opening hour so we had to call them. No answer, so we knocked. When we were finally inside , we decided to get the koi roll, dragon roll and a few nigiris. The price is on the higher side for what you get. There was nothing special about the sushis. It wasn't the freshest but it wasn't bad. For the price, I would go somewhere else.

Once again - this place hit the spot for our quick Sushi go-to. This place makes some killer hiBalls, I highly recommend if you plan to dabble in some draaanks! I really liked their tsukemono, it complimented every dish, highly recommend! was good, it isn't top tier quality but at its affordable cost it made sense and I still recommend this place. Tip: parking blows, especially at night. You might have to park at the church lot next door which I had no issues with it since they were closed.

We really enjoyed dining here. Our favorite dishes were the yakitori, creamy udon, and butter grilled squid. The sushi and oysters were decent but nothing special. The service was great and attentive, though it was a Thursday night and there were only 2-3 other tables occupied.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Absolutely love this place! Very laid back interior; there are two rooms for larger parties.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Special shoutout to our server Iris, who was incredibly polite and thoughtful throughout the meal. We ordered a variety of dishes to try, some highlights include katsu curry, cream udon, skewer & the sashimi platter. The sashimi cuts were very fresh and generous. The chicken skewer was honestly some of the freshest we've ever tried. The udon was super creamy (duh), especially loved dipping the bread within. We've now been here at least three times. Every meal was great. Definitely a must try!

All I can say is WOW. we are obsessed with this spot! One of the best meals we've had in a long time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is very chill and laid back, not a huge space. There's two more private rooms that can fit about 6-8 people but the rest is open seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have happy hour until 7:30pm on drinks from Mon-Fri which is a great deal! Their highballs are delicious with flavors like yuzu, earl grey and blood orange and only $4.50-$5.00 during happy hour. Their food - WOW. Their shrimp tempura tastes homemade and not like the ones you get at every other restaurant. Their sashimi is so fresh, I love scallops and their hotate was sweet and not fishy at all, one of the best I've had in Dallas. All their katsu was delicious and their skewers were AMAZING. chicken was juicy and had great flavor. Service is also amazing - iris was our server the past few times we've been and is so sweet and friendly! Can't wait to come back as our new go to spot.

Tried the tonkotsu ramen and popcorn crawfish roll at Koi Sushi -- both were good, but not super memorable. The ramen had solid flavor and they definitely don't hold back on the bamboo, but I wish the pork was a little more tender. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was good though, and the ambiance is really cute for a girls dinner night -- lots of pink floral decor at the entrance and cozy wooden seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

With restaurants with such high star ratings, I tend to be skeptical. Went I. For the sushi and Ramen week day lunch special. The sushi was fresh and on par to above mid. The ramen. Oh em gee. I got the Tonkotsu. Wow. So creamy and flavorful. The only miss was the egg. It was not marinated. Pics below.

Went here on a Saturday night with a group of 7, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like how they have private room area for larger groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food is pretty good, I got the Koi special roll and salmon roll. I will say the day we went service was a bit slow and our food came out at very different times which was a bit awkward. We came around 9pm and I didn't get my food until around 10:20 while some of the others already got their food and finished eating it. Might've been just that night but a little strange. Overall would be back to maybe try their lunch combos but probably not on a Saturday night.

My new fave local sushi restaurant! Amazing! I've visited a few times and have been blown away every single time with the exceptional quality of the fish. The staff is friendly, welcoming and accommodating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is modern and open. Plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What I've ordered: -sushi lunch special: so good, I could eat this everyday! It comes with a variety of small sides, a miso soup and salad. -gyoza: delish. -shumai: steamed, a little softer than I prefer because it tends to fall apart as I pick it up to eat. -edamame: healthy and fresh. -chicken karage: good portion. -chicken yakitori: so good, love the light spice rub on top. -chirashi don: so fresh and love the variety of fish. -yellowtail handroll: not on the menu, I asked them to make it and they did! It was so good! I highly recommend this new sushi spot!

Service is amazing! And food comes out fast and fresh! It is a bit on the higher side in regards to price but I'll suck it up. Usually I come here when I'm craving sushi and is in the Carrollton plaza. There's usually no wait even on weekends which is a hugeeee pro.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Small and intimate space but great service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the specialty koi roll and a chicken rice bowl. Veggie tempura and edamame for appetizers. So good

We really enjoyed this restaurant. My husband liked his yakitori and curry so much that he ordered more. The ramen was very fishy and I didn't enjoy that, but there was enough EXCELLENT food on the table that I didn't mind at all. The service was superb, and I loved the decor. There are tiny dining rooms off to the side and it was pretty, clean, and comfortable. I will definitely be back-- especially since my husband insists.

The karaoke rental is separate from the restaurant so if you just want to sing your heart out without eating, you can. The music choices they play in the restaurant is also top tier and definitely brings on a a intimate party atmosphere. The only improvement I can offer is that their service is lacking from an organization standpoint. The servers can get a little confused and backed up with orders with a large group and a little intimidated with the loud table. However, the food makes up for the experience and overall it was a wonderful time. Looking forward to going back for date night. I'm excited to try their AYCE!!

So many people throw around the word 'authentic' but this place is the real deal. they've got a daily fish special (even have Akamutsu as an offering.....real indication of a true sushi joint) and a menu offering izakaya options that are hard to be found at other japanese restaurants. We got some rolls and ebi tempura udon to go. Speaking to japanese attention to detail, each to-go bag came with a hard cardboard cut out at the bottom of the paper bag to prevent spilling/caving through. Utensils packed were good quality disposable chopsticks, and for each portion of sushi there was a ramikin of wasabi, ginger, and both regular and low sodium soy sauce packets. and this sounds silly but high quality napkins included in the to-go as well. the rolls came with great generous portions of fresh fish. but what super surprised me was the ebi udon. the ebi tempura were HUGE. REAL DEAL TEMPURA, FRIED IN HOUSE. alot of places just get those frozen ones that are skinny but tiny...these ones are massive, and well worth the price. the udon soup came with wakame too. i called ahead to order and they quoted me 15 min, however it took about 25 min for me to have the order in my hands. no big deal, but even during a weekday lunch the restaurant (albeit on the smaller side) was 70% full so they were prob pretty busy. can't wait to come back and try this place in earnest later!

Especially when I was still breastfeeding, I had to eliminate all of my daughter's allergies to breastfeed safely. The main ones I had to look out for was gluten, dairy, egg, nuts, and sesame seeds. The safe was aware of my limitations and shared empathy, not annoyance like other places. T Thankfully I'm out of that stage so I can eat anything on the menu now. We would like to take our daughter here some day, she loves sushi a lot! But being only 5 years old, we'll need to save it for a special occasion. We get carried away when we come here.
