The jalapeños were not spicy at all which was what I was looking for. It had the right amount for flavor added to the melted cheese and bacon. Toasted at a level you get a crunch in every bite. I was asked if I'd like a pickle on the side; yes please. That was a nice little ask that I wasn't expecting. Overall, service, food and drink were good. There is free parking in the parking lot. Now, hot sandwiches are wrapped in paper and then in foil. This method traps moisture, causing the bread--especially their delicious sourdough--to become soggy instead of crisp. It seems like this change was made to save money, but it really takes away from both the presentation and the quality of the sandwich. For a sandwich that costs $12.95, I would gladly pay a few extra cents for the original packaging if it meant keeping the bread fresh and crusty.

I ordered from a kiosk or you could order online or in person. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was made quickly by welcoming staff. It was a regular size croissant with very light cheese and a layer of crispy bacon pieces in a well toasted croissant. The flavor was good. This café also sells a number of beverages, including fresh ground espresso, and various teas And they sell some bakery goods, candies, and quite a variety of dry-packaged teas and coffee. The parking right in front Café Jun can get pretty full, but there's plenty parking in the rest of the shopping center. You can enter the shopping area from eastbound US-40 Baltimore National Pike, or from westbound Frederick Road. It's just east of Centennial Lane/Bethany Lane and about a mile West of US 29. The larger shopping area has a diner 3-strip mall sections, one of which is called Princess Shopping Center, so I'm a little confused which mall-name covers which shops. The Pistachio Latte looked good so we got one hot, one iced so we could share & try the two variations. We asked for almond milk in the lattes. Fitting: pistachios & almonds together. Both were really good. Can really taste the pistachio flavour after stirring the latte. We'll keep Qaffee House in mind whenever we're in the area. Side note: I found their logo quite clever artistically. It made sense after I looked at the name "Qaffee House" and back to logo. The cup is the Latin letter "q" and the symbol with the two dots is the Arabic equivalent to "q", the Qaf (ق). And this leads to Arabic word for coffee: "qahwa". Nicely done blend of languages.

I visited this spot this morning and had a delicious cappuccino! The barista even put a little…read morebunny on it. So I was really hoppy about finding this place. Until I entered the bathroom. And saw the "under" orientation of the toilet paper, which violates the original patent for toilet paper holders from 1891, where the paper clearly goes over the top. The "over" configuration: * prevents the roll from brushing the wall * makes it easier to grab with one hand * reduces accidental unrolling * and, most importantly, does not make decent people feel like they're living in a lawless society. What you have here is bathroom anarchy. I must admit that tile and brushed metal fixtures actually look really nice, which somehow makes the backward roll even more upsetting. It's like a beautifully plated meal served on the floor. Moreover, the ceiling contains approximately 400 judgmental eyes observing you while you attempt to live your life. The wallpaper on the ceiling (on the ceiling!!!) has a pattern based on the "evil eye" motif (sometimes called nazar), which shows up in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern design. Traditionally it's supposed to ward off bad luck or jealousy. All it does in this case is confirm the establishment has abandoned reason and at least one of the people who work has met a psychedelic mushroom. Still, the vibe everywhere else in this place is amazing and the coffees are very very good!
