Was greeted by friendly staff who helped me through their special offers They also have a load of options. I ended up with their March Special - $5.75 12 oz Irish cream latte. It was delicious. I added a toasted croissant- amazing. Sat by the window on a cozy leather sofa sipping on the latte and savoring the warm croissant. I didn't want to leave. I'll definitely be back.

What I wasn't fine with was waiting over 30 minutes for a single drink. There were 5 or 6 people behind the bar, so I expected reasonably paced service. Instead, the whole place seemed to be running in slow motion. Maybe they were still recovering from an early rush ( I was there around 10am), but it showed. Our order got messed up, we had to remind the baristas what we'd ordered, and the energy from the staff was pretty cold throughout. The final straw: our drink was presumably forgotten. Multiple people who ordered after us got their drinks first. I eventually had to walk up to the bar, point behind the counter, and explain that we'd been waiting and my mom was sitting in the car. For a lot of people, going out for coffee is a treat; It certainly is for me as a student. When you're spending that money, you'd hope for at least decent service. Unfortunately, this visit was the opposite of that expectation.

I stopped by Deadstock Coffee while visiting the area and immediately loved the concept. As someone who loves coffee but loves sneakers even more, this place felt right up my alley. The shop itself is decorated with basketball and sneaker culture, along with iconic sports moments that make the space feel unique without trying too hard. One thing that caught me off guard was that there wasn't a traditional menu posted. As a first-time visitor, I wasn't sure what coffee options, blends, or milk choices were available. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy, and the employee working was incredibly patient, friendly, and happy to walk me through everything. Customer service like that goes a long way. My drink was excellent, and the sneaker design printed on top of the coffee was such a cool touch. It's one of those little details that makes the experience memorable and fits perfectly with the brand. Whether you're a sneakerhead, a coffee lover, or both, Deadstock Coffee is worth checking out. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in the area.

I ordered a Luther Vandross (Lavender Latte), Breakfast burrito, and burger with fries since it was after 11am. The Lavender latte was really good, I asked for extra sweet and it was perfect. The breakfast burrito was also delicious. I added sausage, Guac, and mushrooms. It would've been a 10/10 if left off the mushrooms. The burger tasted precooked, not a lot of flavor, just ok. The fries were fresh and hot, and seasoned perfectly. Another good experience at this incredible sneaker-themed coffee shop not too far from Nike. Definitely go for the coffee, you'll love it.

The service and…read morefood is always consistently good, and I'm a huge fan of the Veggie Grinder, which allows me to trick myself into thinking I'm eating healthy (cuz, veggies!). This sandwich has Gouda cheese, baby peppers, sweet onion, lettuce and a house bean spread, all on their bakery fresh bread. It has just the right level of zip to light up those taste buds. Paired with a nice cup of java, and I'm a happy camper there. Just the smell of freshly baked/baking bread alone is a nice wakeup. I've had other breakfast sandwich options there as well, and all have been great for me (tastewise!). My only complaint is the location/parking, which can be a little snarly. Absent that, we love this place. Writing this review makes we want to head down there right now!

I also like the Blueberry Muffin (4 stars), Chocolate Croissant (4 stars), and Blueberry Scone (4 stars). I once tried the Sausage Egg Biscuit (3 stars). It was good, but I don't think I would order it again. I prefer the bakery items, and it's why we return. I like the variety of options with 4 star service.
