    Meyers Breakfast Burrito

Cute cafe I've never noticed before. Had their Meyers Burrito which was tasty but needed hot sauce, which I discovered too late. Would be a great spot to just hang out and read.

Super cute little place! The food was good, the young staff was refreshingly friendly and eager to help, and there were so many seating options! The burrito lacked a bit of flavor but the added salsa was great! My coffee was perfect though. Im kind of needy when it comes to my coffee. I ordered a decaf iced vanilla latte with oatmilk and 2 extra decaf shots and it came out great! The serve Sisters coffee beans here. Thanks for the pleasant experience!

Literally the cutest little cafe. The servers were so nice and I got the cutest valentines day themed drink! I actually am really glad about the location too, the building they are in used to be a little bit underused and I once had blood drawn there for Red Cross so its nice to see it turned into a neighborhood haunt. Its also right next to a park! Always glad to get to try new local places!

If you have a toddler, this cafe is a must try! They have a little parking lot or you can park at the park next door and walk over. Inside the cafe is modern & clean with plenty of seating. The workers were pleasant and welcoming. What sold me was the many toddler-friendly amenities! There is a cute little nook with books and toys and even a light switch the kiddos can reach. After grabbing coffee and a warm chocolate chip cookie we were able to gently pry our toddler away from the play area to make our way to the little outdoor park. They also have a selection of bakery treats, kid-friendly applesauce pouches, grab and go refrigerated items (salads, parfaits, etc.), coffees, juices, smoothies, and a breakfast menu I am looking forward to exploring next visit. It can be daunting taking your kiddo out into the world, but this was one of the most stress-free outings I have experienced. I am so happy this is just a 10 minute drive away. I have already made plans to return with another mama for a kiddo play date. The perfect place to meet up!

First time eating here. What a surprise! I expected general coffee shop food. Nope! Absolutely delicious. I had The Duke. Sausage, egg and cheddar on a bagel. Thee ingredients were quality. The bagel was soft like ciabatta. Perfect!! Well worth the up hill hike from Saltzman.

    Order up!

What I wasn't fine with was waiting over 30 minutes for a single drink. There were 5 or 6 people behind the bar, so I expected reasonably paced service. Instead, the whole place seemed to be running in slow motion. Maybe they were still recovering from an early rush ( I was there around 10am), but it showed. Our order got messed up, we had to remind the baristas what we'd ordered, and the energy from the staff was pretty cold throughout. The final straw: our drink was presumably forgotten. Multiple people who ordered after us got their drinks first. I eventually had to walk up to the bar, point behind the counter, and explain that we'd been waiting and my mom was sitting in the car. For a lot of people, going out for coffee is a treat; It certainly is for me as a student. When you're spending that money, you'd hope for at least decent service. Unfortunately, this visit was the opposite of that expectation.

I stopped by Deadstock Coffee while visiting the area and immediately loved the concept. As someone who loves coffee but loves sneakers even more, this place felt right up my alley. The shop itself is decorated with basketball and sneaker culture, along with iconic sports moments that make the space feel unique without trying too hard. One thing that caught me off guard was that there wasn't a traditional menu posted. As a first-time visitor, I wasn't sure what coffee options, blends, or milk choices were available. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy, and the employee working was incredibly patient, friendly, and happy to walk me through everything. Customer service like that goes a long way. My drink was excellent, and the sneaker design printed on top of the coffee was such a cool touch. It's one of those little details that makes the experience memorable and fits perfectly with the brand. Whether you're a sneakerhead, a coffee lover, or both, Deadstock Coffee is worth checking out. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in the area.

I ordered a Luther Vandross (Lavender Latte), Breakfast burrito, and burger with fries since it was after 11am. The Lavender latte was really good, I asked for extra sweet and it was perfect. The breakfast burrito was also delicious. I added sausage, Guac, and mushrooms. It would've been a 10/10 if left off the mushrooms. The burger tasted precooked, not a lot of flavor, just ok. The fries were fresh and hot, and seasoned perfectly. Another good experience at this incredible sneaker-themed coffee shop not too far from Nike. Definitely go for the coffee, you'll love it.

I have been looking for a decent breakfast/brunch place close by but so far no luck there. I am still recovering from renal failure so my mobility is severely limited. I travel mostly at the pleasure of the Veterans Transportation Service or Trimet Lyft. Today's Dr appointment finished up sooner than expected so I had some time to kill before the van returned to take me home. So I fired up my tablet and took a look on Yelp to see if there was anything of interest close by. Enter Insomnia Coffee. Lots of positive reviews. Right around the corner. So... off I go. I an a US Navy brownwater sailor. We drink coffee that tastes like coffee. No additives. None. Not even cream or (gasp) sugar. So when I told the barista [HA! The person who pours coffee into a cup] that i wanted a cup of coffee black I got this sort of deer in the headlights look. What? ...I'm sure she was thinking... no Madagascar cinnamon? no foaming goop? no stale crouton crumbs? no pumpkin pie spice? Ummmm seriously? People want their coffee to taste like pumpkin? Yikes. No Miss... just a cuppa Joe. Just like my first heart throb, Anna Mae Bullock....strong and black. And I have to say, insomnia delivered. Not a bad cup of coffee at all. Although I didn't really want to hang out there since it appeared that I had zero in common with anyone I saw there... hogging the comfortable looking chairs. So I had it in a paper cup, to go. Now I have a "thing" about drinking coffee from a large, ceramic mug.... I loathe tasting paper in my coffee and yes I can tell it's in a paper cup even blindfolded. but I digress. They did have a whole display area of decadent looking pastries and not the tiny, overpriced, bogus looking stuff you see at Starbucks. Not that i would ever go into a Starbucks even to use the rest room. They had several pies that made my mouth water and some gooey breakfast glazed things that would have seriously spiked my glucose. so I reluctantly passed. Perhaps next time :)
