    Carnitas Burrito

Ambiance: 8/10 it's a cool, coffee shop. Very unexpected from the outside. Service: 7/10 they were nice & fast Food: Chipotle Sauce: 7.5/10 this was a super randomly flavored sauce but it was good. They put coffee, chocolate sauce, chipotle peppers and other weird stuff in it. Idk who's idea it was but it was solid. Burrito: 7.5/10 $14 for a homemade carnitas burrito . It was surprisingly good and was a good portion of food.

9/9/2025 - I paid $7.00 for a fruity smoothie. I couldn't get past one sip it was super gross.

I was not capable of drinking what was delivered to me. I love giving new spots (new to me) a go. I was starving for some morning food and have been craving a simple smoothie. This popped up for an add on. I chose it because the smoothie was mixed fruit and the other places were just strawberry banana. I should have went anywhere else when asked if I wanted vanilla or chocolate protein without an option to not... It is crazy dark in color, tiny and it tastes like you are drinking vanilla flavoring... not even actual vanilla. That makes any residual fruit flavor basically taste rancid... like the fruit is spoiled. It's also not a smoothie but a mildly blended drink. To be fair, you are called 'The Coffee Shop' so perhaps I will avoid you unless I suddenly like coffee, which I don't foresee ever happening.

Update: the owner of this business is an excellent businessman even covering for his own employees. Updating my review because the drip coffee is unlimited and the prices were made right. Loved this little coffee shop.

Cute little neighborhood coffee shop . Its got this cozy vibe going without being too fancy . Love the idea that its coffee until booze kind of thing which is a fun little concept. We ordered a cappuccino and a Chai along with a chocolate croissant. The Chai here is made in house and has just the right amount of spices. I see myself come back for it. What i also really appreciate is that they dont pre-sweeten it . The staff was fast , they weren't out of your way friendly or cheerful but that didn't bother me as long as service is fast and polite . Lots of parking out-front .

Despite the name sounding plain and boring, this place is quite the opposite. My dad, sister, and I wanted coffee in the morning, and this spot was near where we were staying. The space is cute and there's a decent amount of seating. They had a lot more specialty lattes than I was expecting. My dad had the Cozy, my sister had a Mocha, and I had the Cardi Bee. I love how you can control the sweetness levels, and we each got half sweet, which ended up being the perfect amount. The worker at the front was also SO nice and friendly. I will often have a decent amount of modifications on my drinks (with alternative milks and what not), and she was so accommodating.

I just love how friendly the workers and owners are every time I stop by. Perfect spot to grab a quick drink/bite or to sit down and work for a few hours :) Spacious tables and couches with lovely decoration. Delicious food alongside lovely espresso beverages...LOVE and will definitely keep coming back!

The Coffee Shop and Side Bar are your new favourite weekend spot! Went with a friend for coffee and a working hang (had the apple cider chai, it was delicious) and then stayed to watch football and get drinks.

A little shop by the main road that seems to be a favorite amongst the people in the area. Not too many seatings; a couple of tables inside and some outside benches. Drinks were standard good. I liked that my Matcha Latte was unsweetended to begin with, could really enjoy the matcha. Breakfast Sandwiches were good too. Can get them on an English muffin or a bagel. Eggs and meat made fresh. Do ask for their House Chipotle sauce, really elevated the sandwich. All in all, pretty solid!

What I wasn't fine with was waiting over 30 minutes for a single drink. There were 5 or 6 people behind the bar, so I expected reasonably paced service. Instead, the whole place seemed to be running in slow motion. Maybe they were still recovering from an early rush ( I was there around 10am), but it showed. Our order got messed up, we had to remind the baristas what we'd ordered, and the energy from the staff was pretty cold throughout. The final straw: our drink was presumably forgotten. Multiple people who ordered after us got their drinks first. I eventually had to walk up to the bar, point behind the counter, and explain that we'd been waiting and my mom was sitting in the car. For a lot of people, going out for coffee is a treat; It certainly is for me as a student. When you're spending that money, you'd hope for at least decent service. Unfortunately, this visit was the opposite of that expectation.

I stopped by Deadstock Coffee while visiting the area and immediately loved the concept. As someone who loves coffee but loves sneakers even more, this place felt right up my alley. The shop itself is decorated with basketball and sneaker culture, along with iconic sports moments that make the space feel unique without trying too hard. One thing that caught me off guard was that there wasn't a traditional menu posted. As a first-time visitor, I wasn't sure what coffee options, blends, or milk choices were available. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy, and the employee working was incredibly patient, friendly, and happy to walk me through everything. Customer service like that goes a long way. My drink was excellent, and the sneaker design printed on top of the coffee was such a cool touch. It's one of those little details that makes the experience memorable and fits perfectly with the brand. Whether you're a sneakerhead, a coffee lover, or both, Deadstock Coffee is worth checking out. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in the area.

The breakfast burrito was also delicious. I added sausage, Guac, and mushrooms. It would've been a 10/10 if left off the mushrooms. The burger tasted precooked, not a lot of flavor, just ok. The fries were fresh and hot, and seasoned perfectly. Another good experience at this incredible sneaker-themed coffee shop not too far from Nike. Definitely go for the coffee, you'll love it.

But one bite in and it was clear it hadn't been warmed. When I mentioned it wasn't fresh, the staff defended it saying it was made the night before. Exactly my point -- if it was made the night before, warm it up. Even Starbucks does that. It was dense, cold, and not enjoyable at all. The coffee I ordered extra hot, and it wasn't. Within a few sips it was already lukewarm. That's a basic request that should be easy to get right. The atmosphere is okay visually, but it's packed with laptop workers and there's barely any space to sit and relax. People treat this place like a co-working space and give you stares if your kid makes any noise. It's a coffee shop, not a library or an office. And the tip screen before you even taste anything? Hard pass on that concept. I carry cash and I tip based on actual experience -- that's how it should work. Service was polite but dismissive when there was a real complaint. Probably won't be back.

The Mocha ($6.50 for 16oz) is way too sugary for my taste, but still tastes good, consider getting water to wash it down. The pastries are brought in daily and made by Jenn. And we tried only the Croissant ($6) and the Spinach & Ricotta Lattice Pastry ($7) but these were much better than the freshly made Avocado Toast ($9.50), even though the avocado was ripe and the toast was good, however it was missing salt or whatever seasoning to make it as good as the other pastries.
