This is every food-lover's dream....a casual one-stop shop with a wide range of eats! Among the…read morevariety, offerings include pizza, tacos, ramen, salad, poke, burgers, sandwiches and baked goods - definitely something to fit everyone's preferences! Prices here are on the steeper end but this food hall provides an elevated experience compared to your typical food court. It defies the stereotype that one would normally associate with food courts by proving that the term "fast food" shouldn't imply compromised quality nor level of service. The food I've tried here so far has been crafted with fresh ingredients although the flavors have been hit-and-miss. For example, I loved Barrio Luchador's tacos, but the Brawler Burger was a little too salty and oily, while the whole roast duck at Fat and Feathers was quite bland. Service is top-notch! Not only are the employees at each individual eatery friendly and helpful, but there's a wonderful cleaning staff that ensures the entire food hall space is well-kept and spotless. There are are at least a few employees who stroll around gathering empty plates and cups with a smile. I just wish there was room for more seating since during peak lunch time, the food hall becomes packed and it's difficult to find an open table. If unable to find a seat, each of the eateries can pack your food to go. Otherwise, this is a wonderful spot for a quick lunch, catching up with a friend or an informal meeting.

So far, so delicious, and almost just right…read more I've been SO excited to actually eat here after passing through to eat elsewhere. We ate at Crosta and La Baguette. Drank at Dote and eyed the Burger Bar. The HH pizzas are delicious and an excellent quality and price unmatched anywhere I've seen in the area. I enjoyed the mushrooms but would have loved them fresh and not marinated. The kids were very happy with their cheese and pepperoni (contact pizza as she called it). The French bakery next door has an awesome croque madame sandwich with bechemel sauce over the entire thing (I opted for the sauce on the side and they decided to put my cheese on the side too, which was a bad choice I didn't request). The sauce wasn't even warm and I missed my cheese on the sandwich. Next time I'll say easy sauce. They have a super delicious "hot fudge" dessert that is a brownie with a chocolate and cream mousse covered with a few brownie pieces and chocolate ganache. Oh my, I'm a baker and it was delicious! Also very grateful to find a Full Tilt ice cream selection on the east side for the first time! Baby girl was so thankful to find her blue moon front and center at La Baguette. The beer menu draft list at the burger bar was very tempting for my honey, he found a couple of new ones to try. They offer pints up to growlers. Also, my honey loves his lattes at Dote Coffee Bar. They take the time to make plenty of tasty foam for me that's well flavored and decorated with a whole bear face! The quality of food and presentation is outstanding at this food court, and I can't wait to make our way around each "station" so I can speak to all of the various tastes.

Neither person inside said hello or asked if I had any questions, they both walked away from me, one of them went and sat down at the computer until other customers came in, they returned to front began speaking with them so I left! I'm sure I saved myself some grief. Unfortunately most shops are closed down, which makes shopping more confined to what you see is what you get! And I found that most of the items for sale especially clothing are priced $40 to $45 and up, even for a simple plain tank top. Not a whole lot of food items to choose from inside of the mall but lots of choices outside of the mall, that was really nice! Overall the experience here was okay, I would return only for specific items from specific stores if I am in the area of wise it's really not worth coming to check out. But if your in the area, looking for a place to walk and chill for a few moments or even an hour, then this is the location. Take care and continue to be safe out there. Gyro House, Torero's Taqueria, Mae Mee Bakery, & Baskin Robbins are all great choices. Stay away from Zita Pizza, Chinese Gourmet Express, & Wetzel's Pretzels - Bad, bad, bad. If you want Subway, visit them just outside the food court. Atmosphere. This is where it sucks. The food court is in this weird crooked L-shape - Couldn't it just be a half-square facing Center Court? Also, it's outdated and yeah.

So many storefronts remain empty or are used for weird purposes, such as a remote library. It seems the days of bustling and crowded malls is more in our past than in our future. Anchored by JC Penney's (dying retailer) and H&M, the Capital Mall does not live up to its name. Even the food court leaves much to be desired. The good news, lots of empty parking spaces!

Is this mall a fun place to hang out. Sorta. It's better than nothing. This place is genius because they are dog friendly and have poopie stations with paper towels in case Fido makes an accident and it is this reason that my sister loves coming here- so that our pups can socialize. There are okay restaurants here, but a very small food court with three restaurants which includes a a Philly Cheesteak place with bomb fries and a Panda Express. For some reason this mall has two Wetzel Pretzels. For me the better restaurants aren't in the food court, but on the outside areas of the mall. There's a fancy burger place near the movie theater which is a little overpriced with pretty good burgers, but nothing memorable. If you ask me, the best restaurants are on the outside of the mall and in the parking lots, including a Chipotle, Menchie's Fro Yo, Red Robin, Olive Garden, Applebees, etc. They also have a small Chuck E. Cheese that is a little sad because there's isn't a lot of space for anything there. There are a lot of Spencer Gifts type businesses at this location I guess to entice the teens. For me the fun is from the massage chairs. I have one at home so I don't know why I use these things, but there's something fun about chilling in public. My favorite business here is the Century movie theater which has reasonable matinee prices and lounge chairs that recline.

Remember the days with the combo? Still can't beat that price for fresh out of the oven pizza though. The Homie loves the chicken bake. I tried one of the deli type sandwiches once, didn't care for the thick bolo bread. Tried the giant chocolate chip cookie, prefer the days of the long churros instead. The espresso type bevs are just okay, prefer the soft serves. I sure miss the days featuring mango though. Service is expedient. For the price and convenience, it's a treat.
