Pork belly noodle soup and shrimp tempura burrito

We were pleasantly surprised to have delicious Asian food at the Exchange food court. The pork belly noodle soup was cooked to perfection & the pork belly was so tender. My daughter had the shrimp tempura burrito and it was pretty good as well. The cashier was very patient and helpful considering that we took a while to figure out what to eat.

    Shrimp Tempura Sushi Burrito

This is my second time to this place. Once by myself during duty and once with my wife on a lunch break. 5/5 on this review may seem like "come on, really?". This place deserves the 5/5 from my experience being there two different times with different orders. I've ordered before the Won Tons, Spam and Eggs Noodle, and as pictured, the Shrimp Tempura Sushi Burrito. Every single time I've ordered there was at least a 10-15 minute wait, but you can't rush delicious food. The food and taste are made to order and do not disappoint. This menu is not meant to be rushed and churned out on a whim. Go to the other side of the BX if you are in a hurry. If you have spare time to burn, I highly recommend you put it into this place. Today, I ordered the Shrimp Tempura Sushi Burrito. They had a long line and kept going for at least 30 min after I ordered. The service was friendly and attentive. The waitress was polite and with the orders and service, she was overwhelmed, but she continued to be professional and assisted everyone. She even went out of the cashiers box and read the menu to an elderly couple who wanted to order. When I got my food....wow. The Sushi Burrito has so much flavor and presentation. I could not believe that this type of food was available at the BX. Not knocking on the other restaurants, but variety with flavor is much welcomed. The Tempura was warm and crispy with the outside being fresh and solid. The sauce was amazing and not overwhelming. After having a few bites, I ordered another To-go for my wife. When she came home, I threw it on the air fryer for 5 minutes and she was happy with the flavor and disappointed she didn't eat it fresh. I recommend this place hands down. This type of food at a military base is amazing and I want the best for this business.

Their Sushi burrito is the best! It's fairly priced as well. It's located inside of the McChord Exchange!

Great food. My husband's favorite is wonton soup with noodles. We always get that every time we eat there.

I can't believe I was sleeping on this fantastic opportunity to eat yummy dim sum. Aside from all the regulars you'd find at any dim sum, Harbor City offers some items requiring a little more from the non-Chinese diner -- i.e. chicken feet, stomach, tripe -- always a good sign. Everything we ate was too notch. All the ordering happens online so there is no more old-timey choosing from the cart. And while I miss that one-on-one unexpectedness of that experience, on this particular date, I had to be in and out pretty quickly so the online ordering made for a very timely meal.

The portions are out of this world large for the price. A small dish order is definitely enough for three people. The vegetable fried rice could feed six people easily or 3-4 very hungry people. I was trying them for the first time and the parking lot was extremely packed , many people were coming and going through out the 10 minutes or so that I was waiting to pick up food. My only gripe is that the Chow mein was over cooked and a little burnt tasting.

But decided to give them another chance this week and it was so much better! The first two times, the XLB was completely dry with no soup inside and the dan dan noodles were super salty. This wasn't the case this time. XLB (pork) was juicy, though the skin was still not an ideal texture. The noodles, the main reason we come here, were perfectly garlicky and chewy. So happy we have easy access to them now at this location. Hope this is the way they're trending since they fill a desperate need for Chinese food in the area. We also get various soups, veg, dumplings, and everything else on the menu to try when we come and those have been good too. Service here has always been good and the prices are very reasonable. For this particular location, the sound is very echo-ey and loud so we only come if it's not busy. Excited about coming back now!

It's in a great, convenient spot and overall was a solid experience. I ordered takeout and the online ordering process was super easy to navigate. My only issue was that the order status page was not updated. The screen stayed on "preparing order" even after I had already picked up my food. It would be really helpful if the system was more accurate and notified customers when the order is ready. But otherwise no problems picking up my order and the worker was nice. As for the food, it was delicious! The xiao long bao soup dumplings are always a hit. They were flavorful and comforting, the perfect dish. The cucumber side was also great (I'm a big cucumber fan, so I loved it!). The dan dan noodles weren't my personal favorite, but I'm still glad I gave them a try. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot. I'm looking forward to dining in next time and trying other items on the menu.

But for those in the know, Triumph Valley is really known for their dim sum menu! Off the beaten path, you have to take State Highway 167, as its just south of the large IKEA store. But definitely a culinary landmark if you are a constant diner of Chinese cuisine, and dim sum afficianado. There are only three dim sum, or dumpling lunch providers in or around the City of Renton (technically two). This is one of them, and if you are not early, it can get really crowded, especially on weekends. But the staff bravely soldiers-on with their dilligent service. The restaurant's ambiance takes advantage of its interior with strategic lighting in their dining hall. Very utilitarian, while trying to ensure a little bit of style. They also modernize the experience with electronic waiting and ordering system on portable touch screens. It actually helps the service. No paper. As for me, my focus is on the dim sum. All of my favorites are there. And, as diner of one, it was hard not to want to order everything. So, I ordered the "basics" of a dim sum lunch. One order of Shiu Mai, one order of Har Gow, and one order steamed BBQ Pork. It was pretty much all you need along with an order of tea, as well as a Diet Coke to wash it all down. There were other traditional dim sum selections, but I knew my tummy (and wallet) wouldn't absorb it all - as much as I would have liked. Steamed beancurd sheets, beef meatballs, steamed sticky rice in banana leaves... chicken feet, it was all there. The best way is to make a plan, and invite lots of freinds to make sure you can try EVERYTHING! Yes, there are other menu items, like I said, but for Dim Sum dining in Renton, this is the place!!!! See you at Triumph Valley.
