Ordered our backyard bbq island January 9 2022 I received weekly emails on the build looks amazing I was told an estimated delivery date of 3/21/2022. Never received a call to set the date but on 3/21 I got a call stating they are an hour away. I was at work. I checked my daughter out of school to watch our 6 dogs inside while the guys set it up. I told them where I wanted it placed. But as a set up and delivery person they should know how many feet to be away from wall as code. I gave them an extension cord to plug it in and showed them where the propane tank is to test everything. So I went back to work thinking they have this handled. They called me at 4 stating they have 20 mins left till done. I said sweet I am out of work and I will be home in 20 mins. I got home and I guess they just left 10 mins prior. So I went outside to check it out. Island is not straight, roof top is in neighbors yard, cord had be run through the propane tanks only access, and propane tank doesn't come out of door, tiles not straight on island either. My daughter told me I guess the neighbors had an issue with it and they had to adjust it. I never received a call of any issues. I guess paying around 18k I was expecting perfection. I emailed the same days of issues. They came out on April 4 to run the cord under island and changed out the propane door. They want to charge me to come out and adjust and pull the bbq area away from wall but with a fee. When My neighbors told them to move it. Sorry but I don't think my neighbor has a say what goes on in my backyard. But according to customer service there they approved it and I should go talk to my neighbor about these issues why. I went to the Phoenix showroom today to try to get this resolved. They want to charge me to change it. I asked them what there protocol is while setting up they said it's smart to stay away from wall. Dave told me well our installers don't know any of that information. Do you guys not train or teach your installers this important information? Since my neighbor agreed of this I should be at fault no sir. Went to the home and garden show October 15th and met Jimmy who was great at showing us a replacement grill for the one that we had that was rusted out. I brought pictures with measurements, showed him the area and he said that the 3 burner grill would fit in the space. We purchased the grill and asked if they would install it. He said yes and it was written on the receipt as "INSTALL GRILL." He told me to expect it at least 2 weeks. I said that was fine. I never got a call for the install; they just showed up. Luckily my husband was home. I was surprised because it was earlier than expected. They unpacked the grill and set it in the hole. They told my husband that a plumber has to install the gas line. Information that would have been good to have earlier, but fine we can find a plumber. They told my husband that there was nothing they could do for grill almost falling off the edge. I called later in the week to find out more information about what happened on the install. I told Nick there was lots of space between the counter and the grill and that the grill was tittering on the edge. I sent pictures to Nick via text. Nick said he would talk to Jimmy. A week goes by, no answer. I text again, to ask what is happening. Nick replies and texts that he is going to talk to the install guys and put me on the schedule. NO apologies on how long it's been since he had gotten back to me. Fine, no big deal. As long as he's going to get it done. 7 days goes by and no word. I text that afternoon. No response. I call the next day in the morning, again Nick answers and says he's going to get someone to work on it. I asked him to call me back by noon to let me know what is going on. He doesn't. I call back at 1:30. Now he says the trim piece is $50 and we have to pay for the guys to install it. I told him I already paid for installation when the grill was supposed to be installed, not just laid in a hole. He says "Install" doesn't really mean installing the grill, it just means delivery. Tells me he's not going to argue with me about word definitions. He was not going to send out an installer for the piece, I would have to do it myself unless I wanted to pay an additional $150. I ask him to just send me the trim piece and that we would pay for it. I have no problem paying for the piece to make it fit. I told him that I thought that it was not good customer service because I paid for it to be installed and it wasn't. I understand buying the extra piece, but in my eyes the job was never finished. Nick said he would order the piece tomorrow (Saturday) because he was leaving soon and the warehouse would be closed until Monday anyway. I asked to speak with Jimmy, but he said he was too busy. I was so upset at this situation; I called another location who said they could help me out on Monday when they head to the warehouse. DeDee was very kind and understanding. At this point I do not trust Nick to follow through with anything. We will see how it goes with DeDee. Paid $1400 for a grill with installation and I can't use the grill. Please be aware before you buy from them. They do not care about their customers after you lay down the money. A birthday gift for my husband that turned into heartache. The stucco repair kit and the missing grill just arrived today. Obviously your warehouse didn't send these out with the refrigerator door and would not have been sent to me if I had not spoke to David. The customer service with your salesmen "ghosting" me is horrible. I guess the sale has been made and now there is no customer follow-up and no respect in how to make a customer happy? I paid nearly $14,000.00 for your outdoor kitchen. It's a beautiful product. Having said that, I cannot and will not have great things to say about your company. To date, I still have not heard from your company concerning product satisfaction. It's a shame that I have to reach out to the owner over bad service, damaged goods, and missing parts. I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new built in barbecue grill and it came today! At first I was a little upset, one of the tiles on the surface was chipped.I was advised "not to worry" it would be replaced. Will, Charles, and Antonio were amazing workers. They unloaded the grill and got it over the rocks and into the backyard with ease. The chipped tile was replaced in a way that no one would know the difference.They were professional, polite and knowledgable. Will explained how to use the bbq and gave vie a few good tips. My husband and I stumbled on Kokomo Grills while we were browsing at the Mesa Swap Meet. The BBQ island caught my eye since we wanted something like that for our new house. The salesman was very helpful and took time to explain to us what was included, the different options we had and that everything was custom built. We ended up buying a BBQ island and a fire pit as well. It was very helpful that they waited to begin fabricating our items. We had bought a new home, but wouldn't be ready to move in until June. And then we had to get our landscaping done prior to the items being delivered. Kokomo agreed to wait to begin fabrication until we contacted them to let us know we were ready. As soon as we contacted them, everything was ready within the time frame they had originally given us months before when we purchased. When the BBQ and fire pit were delivered, the crew was very friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain to me what was needed for hookup and where everything needed to go. They polished the stainless steel and left extra supplies for the stucco and tile. One of the guys even wheeled my trash can back up my driveway and put it behind our gate! I love my BBQ however the initial delivery date was pushed out a whole month longer than what I was quoted. Some how they managed to get it delivered during the original time frame as quoted. However their delivery company has poor customer service. I was given a time frame for delivery of 8am to 12pm. I was never contacted to be told that they were running late. I tried calling the company but got no answer so I left a message. No return calls within two hours and by then it was 1:30. I had to contact my original sales person who was great to find out where my delivery was. He called back within 15 minutes and said my delivery crew would be calling me ASAP. When he finally called at 2:50pm he said he would be to me in about an hour. They finally showed up at 4:30pm. Then I find out that my bar stools that I was supposed to be receiving with my BBQ were on backorder. No one contacted me to let me know this ever. Now I have to wait a week longer past the holidays that I needed this for. Poor customer service. Great product but the customer service is terrible when it comes to their delivery company. read more

Save your money. Do business with a company that has integrity! My husband and I went to the Los Angeles County Fair in September 2019. We met the female sales representative who was very friendly (of course, only to make the sale). She showed us what we can include in the island which totaled a whopping $15,500. We weren't sure if we wanted to purchase the island because at the end of the day, it is a lot of money. The female sales rep told us that if my husband and I purchased the island she would throw in 5 patio chairs. Well, that sounded like a deal.... so I told her if you threw one more patio chair, I would buy the island. She agreed! We purchased a $15,500 Bbq Island thinking that the sales rep was going to keep her word in regards to the chairs!!!!! Guess what? She did not! They delivered the island without my chairs. I called the FEMALE Rep and she did not answer. I called the company and spoke to her assistant who said he was not her assistant, he was the manager! Horrible customer service. He clearly told me they will not help me because it was not on the contract! They need to fix customer service. When a customer spends that amount of money, they should honor what was promised to the customer!!! This female rep failed to write the 6 chairs on the contract. We trusted her and she lied to us!!! After calling numerous times, she finally got back to me and said she was going to fix the problem. At first, she said the chairs were out of stock, and they expect them in January. I texted her the first week of February 2020, and she ignored my text. I texted her again the next day, and of course, she said she will call me when feasible!!! That to me sounded like her typical lies. Again, I texted her at the end of the week, and she replied saying that she would have an answer for me on Monday, February 10th. Well, I'm still waiting for her reply! I called the company and left a message to speak to the owner. I told the guy who answered the phone my issue, and I also said that I have text messages from her admitting to her mistake. He asked if I could forward the messages, which I did. About 4 hours later, I get a call from the guy who said he was the manager! That same guy who I spoke to in October. The same guy who was unprofessional and rude. He made all these excuses for the sales rep...Poor her she talks to a lot of people every day and she made a mistake, but all they can offer me is 25% off for all 6 chairs !!! He said the entire office was in a meeting to come up with a resolution and 25% was the best they can do for me!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - WE ARE GOING TO FILE A SMALL CLAIM ON KOKOMO GRILL, and on the sales rep. Very disappointed with this company and with the service they provided. I should have gone with the other company . I learn a lesson here!! I should have read the reviews before purchasing this island! And i shouldn't of trusted this female sales person!!! We ended up buying the three burner grill and island that was showcased at the Barrett Jackson show last year. We did some good research on grills and found Kokomo offered the best deal for the money. Quality construction using stainless steel, burners, etc. Unfortunately during this past monsoon, our BBQ island blew over and was damaged. We coordinated with Jimmy Lucas, the Manufacturing manager, which he was very understanding, professional and supportive in rebuilding our BBQ as new again. We had a few hiccups during the process but Jimmy always made the process easy and correct for us as the customer. Thanks Kokomo for the quality grill and process for repair. read more

After reading all the posts. Kokomo has a problem at the AZ. store. These guys will lie and lie and are rude. The sales people at the Tucson show were pretty good,(anything to get a sale) after that all down hill. My wife and I ordered our grill in May, delivery was suppose to be September, they called knocked it back 30 more days. Was set to be delivered and set up on October 7, 2021. I called them on September 30, because I had not heard from them, The guy I talked to said everything was on schedule for delivery and I would hear from someone Next week. I called again on October 5, 2021, because I did not hear from anyone again. The person who answered told me everything was on schedule for Thursday. Now comes today Wednesday October 6, 2021, my wife gets a phone call from a salesperson stating final payment was due and they would be out on Thursday so my wife paid and we were happy. Well here we go with all the lying! My wife gets a call back about 1 hour later give or take. The salesman states the GRILL is not here? WTF! The salesman stated they could come back and install the grill. He had some lame excuse about it might be on a ship in Long Beach that can not unload? my wife stated this is unacceptable and wanted to talk to a manager. Here we go "They are all in a MEETING", read some of the comments, it's there go to statement. The idiot started getting rude with my wife. My wife told the IDIOT to have a manager call her. More lies by the Manager, he called and stated to my wife there is nothing that can be done! This place has a bunch of poor customer services SALESPEOPLE and MANAGERS working for them. Steve the salesman was awesome. He provided my wife and I with design options which we didn't even know about. The contract/purchase prosses had no pressure and he made us completely at ease. I would recommend Kokomo BBQ's and especially Steve to any and everyone. The corporate personnel was awesome. They answered all of my questions and when I had specific measurement questions they did not know they said that they would call me back. With in minutes, I received the call back with the answer and a follow up call from the quality control person to make sure my question was completely answered. The delivery crew was on point. They took the time to each introduce themselfs. They inspected the area where I wanted the placement and also provided additional suggestions which would make the bbq Island more accessible. The crew explained every single little function and item involving the bbq Island from the location of electrical connections, bbq functions, how to apply the various bbq option items, and even how to clean the bbq after usage. The crew cleaned up the bbq/work area completely, assembled the chairs, and made sure Amy and all questions were answered. The ended the install experience with the most valuable question, "Is there anything else we can do or explain that would make you more satisfied"? The crew provided me with their cell phone number just in case I had any questions. From start to the finish purchasing the bbq Island from Kokomo Grills was any awesome experience and a great investment. Great job guys and gals, keep up the exceptional work. read more

FINAL UPDATE (06/28/2021): The bar is in and it looks fabulous! The quality is amazing and we love the workmanship. Overall our main issue was the lack of communication. I felt like I had to constantly push to find out when things were going to get done. Bottom line: Overall quality is great, customer service/communication needs work. And I'm still waiting for my lid which will be another few weeks because it's back ordered. UPDATE (06/17/2021): As things have changed yet again. It is almost a week since they built the frame and when I called to find out when the tile, stucco and appliances would be installed, I've gotten the excuse that the teams are busy and they don't know yet. I find it unacceptable that they can't tell me when someone is going to be here. UPDATE (06/11/2021): As I said, I'd be willing to update this review as things were rectified. So later in the day that I left voicemails I received a call from a different sales manager as the 2nd one I was working with called in sick. The new manager listened to my plight, told me he'd look in to the case and let me know what's going to happen. The next morning, unexpectedly my doorbell rang and it was the delivery crew. They were here to build the frame for the bar area to make sure that the slope was correct and the bar piece was level. At the same time I was given an acceptable time frame to when I would have the bar piece and what they are going to do to get me the lid for the griddle. I am very happy with the response now. Thank you!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ NOTE: I will be willing to update this review if things are rectified in a timely manner. I purchased a BBQ Island and Bar setup from Kokomo Grills. Joe, our initial sales rep was awesome and we were very much looking forward to having our new setup. When they called to schedule delivery, it was a month after what we were initially told it would be. We were patient and waited for it. When it was delivered, that's when everything has gone south. When they delivered they setup the grill BBQ island area and it looked amazing! The flat-top griddle (We purchased this 3rd party as I wanted a bigger griddle then Kokomo's offered) set in perfectly and it gave me the work space that I needed. When they brought in the bar though, they didn't take in to account the slope of our patio so the 2 pieces didn't line up. At the same time, because of this the drop in cooler on the bar area wouldn't drain properly. After some finagling and measurements, it was determined that they had to bring the bar area back and rebuild it so it would take in to account the slope. Things have only gotten worse from there. I noticed that the lid to my griddle wasn't delivered so I called to ask about it. I was told that Joe has had to take a leave of absence and that things would be taken care of by another representative. It turns out that my lid was lost during delivery some how and they asked for a few days to figure out the timing for the fix for the bar and how to get me a new lid. This was on Friday. Tuesday, late afternoon I hadn't heard anything so I called to get a status. Since it's 3rd party, they are now having a difficult time finding me a lid. On top of that the rep kind of gave me the run around about when I could expect my bar area to come in. He said they may have to have someone come out and re-measure, and I said "fine, when will I know?" and again, he gave me some double-talk. He asked for another day to get everything sorted out and that he would call me the next day by end of day with the details. Next day came and went and no response. I called the next morning and got sent to voicemail and am waiting to hear back. The quality of the island is great and I'm enjoying using it, I just I want a lid for my flat-top that I purchased and I want to know how long till I have the bar piece, and I feel I shouldn't have to wait as long as I have to get that information read more

Chad, Sal, & Rudy at Kokomo Grills installed my new BBQ and I could not have been more impressed with a group of guys! They were pros! They were gentlemen! One guy would call out directions like a quarterback telling the others very loudly and clearly, so there were no mistakes, when to push or pull, when to turn or twist, when to lift and how far to lift, when and where to move the dolly. They were like a precision assembly line and it was honest to goodness perfection! I wish all contractors and handymen I ever hired were as great as these guys!! read more

Customer service is non-existent. Worst experience ever. Took several weeks to get the initial drawing back, took several more to make corrections, took several MONTHS more to get and it was still missing parts that were on backorder which took several more MONTHS to get, as well as getting anyone to come to fix the stucco. Even with how long things were taking they wanted to charge $500 for changing a same size door to same size shelf (both just inserts in same size hole). Would have been easy to wave that fee given they were months past their promised delivery date and hadn't started on the unit. The grout is cracking and the tiles are not aligned. We cannot use the island bar as cannot put weight on it as it's leaning. The grill and flat top work very well but the workmanship of the base, including the tiling and stucco is horrible. I hope the grill and flat top are as good and last as long as the other reviews say because having to deal with getting someone out to service them will be no fun. The install guys were fantastic, apologetic for lack of professionalism on customer service, general lack of one, and time it took. Too bad rest of employees weren't as good. And the owner, apparently she is never there to deal with issues, or so we were told everytime we asked for her or her contact info. Start to finish almost 10 months and countless emails and phone calls and run around. Sounds like a great company, when everything goes well. read more

I bought a grill two years ago at the San Diego fair. It is an ok grill, difficult to keep clean. My issue is I ordered a new cover for this grill due to the other one being ripped. I ordered it at the fair. I thought I was ordering the same type of cover. I paid $81 an that was with a discount. When it arrived it was ripped on the bottom left hand corner. It was also made of cheap plastic with a cheap plastic logo. The original cover was a reinforced material with sewn in embroidered logo. I asked to return the damaged product for a refund an they told me it would be a 35% restocking fee. So they sell cheap over priced covers that are damaged an will only take it back with a 35% restocking fee! Wow!!! I would stay away from this company. read more

I had the salesman Mark come to my house said wanted grill hooked up to my natural gas.He said they could do that.Was sent a picture of tile I ok"d it.Waited a long time for grill, was sent a picture WRONG tile.He wanted to charge me half to replace. I guess he thought I was stupid! I went down picked out tile. They did replace tile. I asked to make sure natural gas they said yes so expected ready to go.NO hookups ! Called a plumber in cost 300.00 on a way to expensive grill.No brochure left .Plumber could not get to work. Then saw they installed regulator backwards.Thank goodness I at least had a great plumber! Beware!!! This is a terrible company that does not stand behind it's product. I spent almost $8,000 on a BBQ Island and when I had a problem with their product just months after I had purchased it, they wanted to charge me at least an additional $200 to come out to fix the problem. When my wife called our salesman Alex, he blamed her for the issue. When she asked to talk to Customer Service, he also blamed her, not the inferior equipment. When I called on Friday 3/12/21, Alex told me he would look into it and call me on Monday. He didn't. I left a messages to call me on Tuesday and Wednesday. He never called me back. On Thursday he answered the phone and told me that it was all my fault that the item broke and that because it was more than 90 days since the purchase, too bad, they're not repairing it or less than $150.00. I guess their stuff is only good for 90 days. When I told him I would write bad reviews, he could not have cared less. I am so sorry that I didn't read reviews before I bought their product. Biggest waste of money ever. The grill hasn't worked properly since they installed it. We asked for repair, they mailed us parts (that we had to pay shipping for) with no instructions on how to install them. The grill doesn't heat above 250* and they send us ignitors and wind deflectors - not likely to solve the problem. When we asked for someone to come out and repair it correctly we are told it's $150 service fee or bring it in - it's an ISLAND, and we'll still have to pay fees. It NEVER worked from day 1, that should not be an additional expense to us! Stay far away from Kokomo and Backyard Accents. While we are happy with the product itself, the customer service for Kokomo Grills, is horrible. Our sales person could not give us the info for the electrical part of our purchase, therefore, the positioning of the power was not how we had hoped to set it up. The roof was positioned for a kitchen with one bar, and not one bar on each side, like we purchased. When the crew came to re-position it, the first words out of their mouths was, why did they install the roof like that? After many phone calls, we had to wind up paying $150.00, so they could fix their mistake. The accents on the front of the kitchen facing our pool, were not installed. The grill kept flaming up whenever we cooked on it. Found out the wrong valves were put on it. To make matters worse, trying to reach anyone at Kokomo was impossible. We bought ours and waited a few months to install (had to build the island first). First impressions were of good quality and good workmanship. I opted for the cast burners as they were a few more BTUs and lifetime warranty also added the sear burner to one side. After initial burn in (to get production oil off of the metal) it heated extremely fast, and got extremely hot. In a hurry. For a guy that has been using cart style grills for about ever now, it was a welcome treat to throw a 3lb bone in ribeye on the sear and finish on the burners. Temp control is a little dicey at first, you have to watch placement and burner temp closely. The first layer of defense is the ceramic bricks in steel trays which seem to distribute heat nicely. I have yet to find a "hot spot" on the unit. It all seems to be within my tolerance for even heating. Knobs provide positive feedback, not sloppy or loose, but not too tight either. The burners light up, first time, every time. The pull out drip tray in the front (lined with foil for ease of cleaning) is a nice touch, I don't have to disassemble to clean any more. Fit and finish is what I would expect at this price point. I looked for a long time to find the right opportunity and built my outdoor kitchen around this piece. I am certain there are more expensive pieces available, and perhaps some better. But I am also convinced, there are far worse options out there. Besides, I can drive to Phoenix and chat up someone if it comes down to it... Update...how prophetic my last comment seems to be. I almost had to drive to Phoenix...and chat. Started having serious concerns with the sear burner. Like flames shooting out of the control valve and burning the underside of the grill. Like wouldn't light and made gurgling noises. Like when it finally lit, fireball extraordinaire. I resorted to lighting it with a long lighter but didn't trust it. Dozens, no exaggeration, literally dozens of phone calls later they mailed a new burner out to me, to no avail. After I text them and mailed them video of the flames on the WRONG SIDE of the valve. After emails, text messages, and more phone calls they actively engaged in avoiding my calls, lying to me about having called me back and on and on. So I have a $2,000 grill that doesn't work correctly and is dangerous. And no one will help. Turns out the only reason (which they admitted on the phone) they finally came to fix it was their crew was back in Las Vegas for another show. So not one to pass a good opportunity, I went to the show to discuss things in person without the drive to Phoenix. Everyone has a different attitude when you stand in front of them. With a line of potential clients standing around their exhibit they we extremely helpful and attentive...presumably to ensure potential revenue didn't hear our exchange. Amazing how quickly you get service when its not over the phone and behind a keyboard...amazing in deed. Please don't mistake this for a happy ending...the techs showed up at the house the next day (wow!) and only had 5 of the 6 items that needed replacement. 80% satisfaction is a good start. While they were standing in my yard THEY COULDN'T REACH ANYONE AT T HE OFFICE EITHER! The company won't take calls from their own employees. They left and we were close to resolution. They had to mail the last part from HQ in Phoenix the following week. Now it works. But it took almost a year to get there. They will cash your check and charge your credit card, QUICKLY. Customer service is not in their vocabulary. In fact they told me on the phone they fired their customer service rep...not like I would know because they don't answer the phone. Buyer beware. To make a long story short, DON'T BUY FROM KOKOMO GRILLS. First thing they don't tell you is that you have to pay in full before you ever see your grill. They don't return phone calls (their website says "World Class Customer Service," what a joke.) They lied about numerous things, when it was going to be ready and what we ordered was not what we got. It took over 3 months to get our new grill. It should have taken 4-6 weeks. They had one excuse after another as to why it wasn't ready. They also built it to the wrong specs and they would not correct it. I was so disappointed with this company and I wish I had never bought this from them. They also demanded payment in full before the product was delivered to my house. A call from my lawyer took care of that. How pays a final payment before you even see the product. We purchased Kokomo BBQ island - Aruba with Gazebo at Tucson Home and Garden Show in 2016 and all I can say is that one star is more than Kokomo Grills/ Backyard Accents deserve. We ordered a kitchen island with metal rooftop. First our order was badly mismanaged; then, 6 months after installation, the roof blew away due to improper mounting. It was fastened with only 4 screws . The entire thing. The company didn't want to do anything to rectify their sloppiness. We had to take them to court. To this day I regret agreeing to have the ruling off the record, since the BBQ island is still falling apart in our backyard and requires constant repairs. As I mentioned first the metal roof flew off due to improper installation, then the bricks placed around one of the beams fell apart, then the tiles fell off from the counter , then the walls developed cracks around the barbeque itself. I paid more in repairs at this point than the thing is worth. Judging by the other reviews, this business never learned anything. read more

Here is an objective review of the product received and customer service rendered by Kokomo Grills / Backyard Accents. I am a real customer who was introduced to the company at the Phoenix Lawn & Garden show. This review is based solely on factual and objective data. Was the product delivered as per the contractual design, free of defects, and fully functional? NO. The grill was missing puck lights. The burner knobs became very hot and caused skin irritation. The grill hood bent downward, eventually preventing the hood from fully opening. The regulator was broken, so propane was leaking. The tiles were not epoxied. The propane gas doors were installed grossly out of square. The electrical work is not to code. The company is not R.O.C. certified. Was the delivery on time? NO. This is not an opinion. They just didn't show up on time. Was customer service friendly and/or helpful? NO. Aaron Watts, the president, would not accept or return any phone calls or emails. Jimmy Lucas, the Vice President, did return one of my calls. He raised his voice and accused me of threatening him because I was requesting a working product. He escalated the situation and stated, "You overheated the grill." This was a comical statement. The vice president of a BBQ Island company telling his customer he overheated the grill. Just to be clear, the hazardous burner knobs and grill hood dysfunction were produced in the presence of Kokomo Grill / Backyard Accent employees upon delivery on camera at approximately 300 degrees Fahrenheit (objective and reproducible, not an opinion). Did Kokomo Grills eventually respond to your phone calls or emails? Did they honor their warranty? NO. Unfortunately I had to obtain the services of an attorney and file a dispute. Kokomo Grills / Backyard Accents failed to respond to friendly requests to resolve the issue. Would I recommend Kokomo Grills /Backyard Accents to my friends and family? NO. I would not recommend this company to my friends or family, but, it's not because the product was defective. Things happen in life and sometimes products are defective. Even Apple has a computer or phone that malfunctions from time to time. The difference is good companies honor their warranty, treat their customers with respect, and take accountability. This is the worst grill I have ever purchased. Burners will not stay lit, you can not open the top if the grill gets above 600 degrees, top grill rack should come out but does not. Kokomo customer service is not responsive. They offer no resolution to the dealer I purchased the grill from, so the dealer came and picked up my grill and sent to Kokomo for repair. Kokomo promised same day service to repair the grill, days latter I do not have a repaired, or new grill and no response from Kokomo. Check out other grill companies, this one is the worst. read more
