I would like to make people aware of the set up service Home Depot offers. They use a company called AIT World Wide Logistics. My wife ordered a BBQ grill from Home Depot as a Christmas present that was place at the front door. I had to ask 3 neighbors to move it to the side yard to get it out of the way. The company that puts the grill together scheduled the appointment to assemble the unit for mid January. Now I have a giant box in my yard for the Holidays for all of our house guests to marvel at. One month is unacceptable. Home Depot should coordinate the delivery and the set up or use another company. You would think that a company with logistics in their name could do a better job. This is just a heads up to let people know that delivery and assembly are not coordinated. The service is completely unacceptable and misleading when you order it. read more

I started using the Home Depot on line ordering and curbside pickup a few weeks ago. It is so convenient and easy, saves a lot of time that would normally be spent searching the store for what you need and also keeps you socially distanced. The web site is linked to their inventory system so you know how many items are in stock and at which store, if items are out of stock you can choose free ship to store. You get an email and/or text (your choice) when items are ready for pickup, then head to the store, click on the I am here button on your confirmation, enter your car description, phone number and parking spot and in less than 5 minutes someone brings the order to your car. The Thomas location and the pickup parking spots are very busy so you have to be patient when parking and leaving. read more

Having an extremely hard time selling me artificial grass. It's laughable. Like these dudes couldn't even show me a yard and give me an estimate. Giving the run around, don't want to help, point-fingers and don't help the customers Jesus Christ this was annoying. I wanted to buy like $100 of grass and they said I can't so I walked out of the store with nothing. I said 3 times I want the thick grass on the wheel and they couldn't even walk me to it, I walked to it already but no help was available for a minuteeeee. And they sent me to grab this other grass already cut and it was paper thin. Not what I want. Duh I said it 3 times. I started my DIY journey at this Home Depot. The first item I bought was defective. I returned it, then purchased another, only with a new Home Depot credit card, as there was a $100 gift for signing up. Unfortunately, the store messed up the sale and didn't give me the $100 discount. After multiple attempts to fix it, they refunded the whole price back- so the item was free. Then they contacted me to charge me again. I told them I'd be happy to pay for my purchase as long as they could show that I wasn't paying twice for the same thing, given their efforts. They finally got the payment right, but not after ruining my Home Depot experience. I don't feel safe buying from them. Amazon costs more, but at least they're competent. I'm paying off the card in full, so never to make that mistake again! read more

I Unfortunately I have to change my five star review to a one star review at this location. Yesterday while shopping here, I lost my car key & could not find it anywhere. I called the locksmith it was gonna cost $400 to have a key made so I was in Home Depot looking everywhere trying to find the key and the employees actually got mad at me because I lost my key they would not help me (except one blonde lady in the paint department and she didn't help me that much) So I'm gonna have to pay $400 for a new key partly due to no one at Home Depot trying to help me find my freaking key. This is their karma they're all gonna lose their keys at some point and they're gonna go through the same thing. I took a long paint stirrer to check underneath all of the shelving and there was so much junk underneath the shelving units I wouldn't have known if there was a key or not. see the picture below. This is the worst Home Depot I've ever been to in my life. You'd be lucky to find a person working in returns if you get there within an hour if it opening. Plenty of employees using the computers in returns to clock in though. The parking lot is always full of drifters and vagrants begging for money. Some of them practically jump on your car, and there's always some weirdo that will accost you begging for spare change. I never feel safe here and it's unclear why Home Depot allows these people who aren't customers to hang out here. When you get there in the morning the lights are always off even if the store has been open for hours. Aisles are closed without regard for customers who need something. read more

On June 9th at 1:49 PM (Date and Time on my receipt), I was in Home Depot in Havasu to purchase a Fire Stick. We were directed by to go an area where the Fire Sticks are kept locked up. A young man assisting us (tall, dark curly hair and glasses) asked Dee (supposedly a supervisor) where they were. Dee was at a cash register behind he counter. He let could not find the cabinet. Dee says across the area to the young man they are not there, you are looking in the wrong place. Upon hearing this another employee Lorenia says I know where they are and she walks over to a cabinet between Dee and where the young man was looking. She let Dee know she could open the cabinet and was looking to Dee to give the okay. Dee did not say anything and the young man is still looking in the area he was in. So I said to Dee, can you please tell the young man where to look if that's not the right area or have Lorrenia who does know get the Firestick. Dee's response was "I can't leave the register". I understand, you don't have to leave the areas just tell him where the cabinet is, just like to you told him it's not the right cabinet. Dee's response, "Mam, I am busy right now and you will just have to wait.". So I am waiting and so is 2 other employees because Dee is too busy to provide proper customer service. I said I want to speak to the manager. She said she is the manager. She is the worst employee. Lorrenia who was there to help should be the manager! Lorrenia exemplified what good customer service looks like! Thank you Lorrenia for trying to help. People like Dee is a worthless and disrespectful employee...bad news for Home Depot. read more

This is the worst hone depot I have ever been to. Jeremy the "assistant Manager" is one of the main reasons. 1. He is rude. When I asked him for help and he was unable to help I walked away without thanking him and he sarcastically said "thank you". 2. He is incompetent. I asked him a simple question about adhesive and he had no idea how to figure out the problem. And sent me back to the original aisle which was the reason I had to afl him in the first place. On 05/4/22 @7:59am I went to this location for a second set of keys and help with a way to secure an adjustable shower rod. And you know it, there was nobody at all to help me with these two small jobs. I asked the floor customer service lady by the self checkouts to call someone to help me. We've been on a chore rampage lately while getting our first baby's nursery all setup! When we bought our house, the rooms didn't have window coverings or ceiling fans in the back rooms after the remodel so we came to home depot last weekend on the hunt for both. We found the PERFECT ceiling fan that was just the right size for under $100. It is SO classy looking. We had looked at fans last summer but I didn't find any that I loved (i'm so picky) so when we found this one, I was thrilled. We ended up getting 2 of them, one for our master as well. As for the blinds - we had no idea how to go about this. But thanks to Don, we were totally taken care of in the blind department! He explained all of our options regarding quality, material, corded vs. not corded, custom vs. those that could be cut right there, color, etc. We happened to be IN LUCK because the high quality custom blinds happened to be on sale which made them the same price as the lower quality blinds. YAY!! Baby gets NICE blinds for his "crib". Get it? haha. Don was so helpful in explaining the features that we would need and those that we could do without. We ordered them right then and there and they are being shipped to our house at no extra charge. Yes, please! This Home Depot has never failed us - from gardening stuff to random tools, they've got it all and are ready and willing to help. THE BEST PART, you can bring your pooch along for the errand. We brought our sheepie with us this past Saturday (since in the summertime he stays in the house bored most of the time) and he got so much attention + had a BLAST! I placed an order there for a specialty hardwood. 2 weeks later I'm still looking for my order so they checked into it and discovered the order was not placed correctly and the money was refunded back to the gift card they threw away at the time of me placing the order. I purchased an Amana electric range at the Home Depot on 36th st & Thomas rd Phoenix, Arizona in March 2024 the oven has never worked. I've spoke to the representatives in the appliance department and no one was willing to help me with the range & was told that they do not take back appliances . I was told to to get in touch with whirlpool the company that sells Amana products they sent a technician and he said there was nothing wrong with the stove to call an electrician, so I had George Brazil an electric company here in Phoenix Arizona come out & paid them $250, they said there was nothing wrong with my electrical that it is a defective stove. Both Home Depot & whirlpool are not willing to replace my stove and by the way it is still under Manufactures warranty. nether business is willing to own up for their defective product. I have never encountered such horrible customer service, I will never buy anything from Home Depot or whirlpool ever again. I will take my business to Lowes they back up their Products.
