I purchased this grill and side burner after seeing them on display at the Scottsdale Home and Garden Show. Delivery followed shortly afterwards. The installation required some additional work, as it was a retrofit into my existing outdoor kitchen area. The installation team went above and beyond. They were concerned that the existing countertop might not be strong enough to support the larger grill, so they reinforced it to ensure everything would be safe and secure. They also had to cut away part of the existing tile and stucco to make everything fit properly, which they did with great care and attention to detail. Zach has also been extremely helpful in making sure the overall finish looks great. I'm currently waiting on a filler piece to complete the final touches, but I'm already very pleased with how everything has turned out. The entire process from choosing and designing the system with Zach at the SAHABA Home Show to final installation was very smooth. We were kept advised every step of the way. I'd like to start by saying that Kokomo grills. Lifetime warranty is a figment of everyone's imagination. There is no such thing. They have more ways to get out of fixing anything than anyone I've ever seen, spoke with a gentleman name. David in their warranty center after my unit was a little more than 2 years old, and all of my tiles have fallen off both my fire table and barbecue island he referred me to their disclaimers, and told me more or less to have a nice day, I spent over $8000 on this unit. I met the Kokomo staff at a home show. They had some really great products but I was skeptical after I read some reviews so I held off doing anything. The company that was building my pool recommended them, and used their products so decided to go with it. Best decision we made. Kokomo staff, especially Devin has been nothing but helpful, kind and responsive. We picked tile that matched our pool design and had it delivered to them and the did a custom tile for us. They made the process simple. Our grill and our taller dining table with the fire pit was delivered in June. Products are beautiful. Grill heats up quickly and cooks fast. Our steaks and burgers come out so juicy. This is the best grill I have ever had. So completely happy with our products. We just ordered the accessory kit and I can not wait to make my first rotisserie chicken! The kit also comes with a searing burner, a griddle, smoker box and a cover. They often do specials on the accessory kit so definitely ask about it when you talk to them about buying a grill. They can custom design an outdoor grill area for you too. Kokomo Grills is not honoring a signed contract. My canopy with a BBQ Island and fire insert has free delivery and installation included in the contract. They have now come back to me for installation costs totaling $800 and have refused to install until it is paid. This is ridiculous, a signed contract should be honored. I still don't have resolution on this matter. A complaint with the ROC is in the works, followed by a lawsuit if this is not promptly resolved. Don't do business with Kokomo Grills, they do not honor signed contracts. read more

My original rating was one star due to not responding to my calls regarding a defective griddle that I purchased. After a few days of frustration I drove to the showroom to resolve the issue. I spoke with David, he apologized for not having someone return my calls and schedule the service tech to come out the next day. The service tech was not able to resolve the issue. Kokomo then removed the griddle and replaced it. The new griddle works like a charm, and I now have a backyard Benihanas. read more

Husband and I are planning an outdoor kitchen and he has done much research. Kokomo Grills seemed to have what he wanted. We go to Home Shows and other events all the time and check out their display every time. The more we look - the more we liked. So we decided to purchase the grill as we noticed the price increase since we started looking. The person we were speaking to worked out a deal on the professional grade 4-burner grill with the rotisserie. He even stated he will "throw in the cover". Out the door for everything came to $3,100. That afternoon something popped up on my husband's computer during one of his searches that there was a "huge sale" at Kokomo Grills. He checked it out and the same exact items came to $3,070 and that included paying the $125 for the cover (not being thrown in). He was confused and felt ripped off. Told hm we cannot pick up the grill until at least Tuesday so call them. Surprisingly someone from Kokomo Grills called him later that week to arrange pick up. Husband explained his feelings and that we over paid by $155. This person was yeah - I see that - would you be interested in other accessories, store credit, etc. This person stated he would call back and never did. We went to the Black Canyon location to pick up the grill and speak to someone in person. The person there said we paid what we should have as the grill is $3,400 and there was nothing he could do. We showed him the price RIGHT from their own website with the discrepancy. He still did not care. Husband was mad and asked if he was willing to lose $3,100 in sales (not to mention the additional we were planning on spending to complete the kitchen). This person did not seem to care. We were ready to cancel the charge and be done with Kokomo Grills. However, we decided to visit their main location and hope for someone who was at least willing to listen and actually cared. We ended up going to the main location on Gibson Lane. We spoke to George and he was more than helpful. We explained the issue and he listened then agreed with the situation we were asking about. He helped us out and we ended up spending another $1,100 but got what we wanted and a little bit more for what we all thought was a fair price. Instead of losing a $3,100 deal, George got the company another $1,100 on top and saved a customer. Picked up the equipment with no problems and got everything home. Everything is OK. read more

WARNING to all.... stay clear of Kokomo Grills, they have terrible business practices and do not take ownership when their staff makes errors. We bought an outdoor kitchen at the Anthem Days Fair in Arizona in April, Jaydin (the owners son) came to our home and measured and promised the world to us. Seeing that they were local and actually lived in our neighborhood, we trusted them and were excited to get our outdoor kitchen in our home in Anthem while supporting a local business. When we got our unit delivered it was the wrong size, (it was a foot too short) so it was clearly not a custom piece as they advertised. It was not hooked up for Propane as we had discussed and it was missing the ice chest we had purchased. We were jacked around and around and never talked to the same person...always saying someone else would get back to us. Ironically they have placed the blame on us, apparently when they gave us the drawing to sign off on, we were expected to go and re-measure what their sales person measured...if this was the process they should have told us. We signed off on the photo that showed the unit fitting snuggly and looking "custom", we did not go and re-measure the project, that is why Jaydin came out to measure in the first place. Jaydin clearly took the wrong measurements and now we have to spend additional money to try to fix this and make it look visually correct. The entire KOKOMO team has been trained on how to hide errors made from their employees, it is really a shame that in the small community of Anthem - where the owners reside, that they allow this type of business practice to go on. I am sure at one point when the Owners started the business they acted honestly, but it is clear that they have lost their integrity. We spent over 14k with Kokomo and once they got our money (which they demanded in order to deliver it) they take no ownership. I do not know how businesses like this actually stay in business, it is a crime for them to take advantage of good, honest and trusting people. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE DISHONEST PEOPLE!!! read more

We purchased 2 prefabricated islands, 1 is for the BBQ grill and electric smoker. We had 2 drawers included. The other island is the sitting bar for 4 with ice chest and trash can drawer. Electrical hookups included. The design , build out and delivery process was flawless. Both islands appear to be high quality. Just had them delivered and set up by a team of 4 young men who were great. We will enjoy these for many years by our pool, with friends/ family. read more

As everyone else is saying - saw them at the home show and purchased a beautiful $20,000+ outdoor kitchen. After the at home measurement was done, we were unsure it would actually fit and asked them to please come back and remeasure... which they did and Zach assured us there was plenty of room for our chairs to fit around the countertops, and the unit would fit through our side gate for delivery. Right before our delivery day, we received a call requiring payment for the crane. Of course we questioned this because of Zach's assurance during measurement. Nope... too big and they must use a crane to place it in our yard. We went round and round on this and Kokomo ended up paying a portion of tha cost. On delivery day, the kitchen was placed on the slab and our chairs would indeed be out into the walkway - exactly what we were told would not happen. The installers were fantastic, I must say. They worked very hard to find a solution to make this work for us - but not at all how it was designed to be set up. Then came the fact that it is not level. We contacted Kokomo who stated making it level on the slab is something that should have been prearranged. What?? Prearranged?? Maybe Kokomo should have asked us if we wanted this "luxury" because who would even think to request such a common sense thing. We were the told that placing shims underneath to level it ourselves would void our warranty. Buyer beware. Next stop - R.O.C. read more
