We used yelp to find sideways sports lounge. We were not looking for food. We were just looking to enjoy a few cocktails with one another. It's a very chill place. Great menu options The menu has so many choices to choose from. It was kind of hard to read the menu. They had a large variety of draft beers, which was very cool for a small spot. They did have an open patio, the waitress that we ended up with did not seem very friendly with us, checked on us once, and left us alone after that... I don't if it was because we are Mexican but she did not seem very friendly at all! ME personally, it doesn't matter if I'm there to eat or drink if I'm helping pay your way you need to come and check on our table periodically ! I said goodbye, as I always do when I leave in establishment that I've been at and got no acknowledgment whatsoever, and there was no music playing. There was no loud TVs. We have been to Sideways multiple times and plan on it going forward. They have a friendly hard working staff, especially Kim. The menu has a wide range to choose from and is consistently good. Have to try the smoked green chili. It might be easy to drive by the place, but make sure to give it a try. Dogs are allowed out on the patio as well. read more

We ordered dinner through Grubhub, and we were disappointed with the quality of the food. It was OK bar food, not terrible, just meh.

Great hole in the wall place with a nice burger. I got the bacon blue cheese burger and it was really big and juicy. Fries weren't my favorite style but they tasted great and I was given plenty. I would definitely recommend this place. Minus a star for a weird rule about having to have a horizontal license in order to buy beer. I turned 21 last month and haven't been able to get a new license but my vertical one is still perfectly legal for everything else, so a little strange I couldn't use it here. Fries are great. Service is great. Ambiance is great (like what you would expect in a Sports bar). All in all, this is a great bar.

Our first time coming last night . My husband and I shared the Buffalo chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Adra was super nice and attentive, as was the chef! Both very personable. Nice neighborhood spot with lots of TV's for sports viewing. Going to try some smoked BBQ next time. Good job...we will be back! read more

This review is based only off 1 Grub Hub order, I have not been inside the bar. Hoping to provide feedback to the owner. He seems engaged on Yelp and really cares. I got the classic burger with a basket of fries and added cheese. The burger was cooked perfect, seasoned well and just..... phenomenal. I love a great burger!!!! Especially a place that can nail a medium temp. Kudos!!! The only thing stopping a 5 star was the fries. I know it's hard to deliver fries and not have them arrive soggy. However they were extremely soggy and not seasoned. When you deliver in a styrofoam container only the evaporation from the heat will destroy the fries. Most places wrap the fries in tinfoil or send them separate from the main meal. I live down the street. The burger was so good Ill be coming in for a beer and burger very soon. WORST WINGS EVER! I would not recommend eating here if you could avoid it. I've had some really good wings, ok wings, and really bad wings. Unfortunately, I tried the chicken wings here for the first time and it will be the last time. I tried two different flavors. 1 rub and 1 sauce. Wings were dry and barely sauced. Rub was almost non existent. Another member of my party ordered the pretzel bites which were over cooked on the verge of being burnt. I live within walking distance of this place, have been there 5+ times. Today with the great weather and garage patio door open the place is packed. We find a table, don't wait too long for initial service to get a drink and a menu. Then it just goes down hill from there. 25 minutes goes by, we are 3/4 of the way through our beer... finally... the waitress comes back for our food order. This was after I watch her service the same 2 tables over and over again without regard to us, with many attempts to make eye contact or ask other waitresses to take our order who say they can't. Finally she comes over to see if "we needed anything" and we say yes we need to order food. So, we order our food and start talking again, no big deal. We had no intention of having another round of drinks, but the waitress came walking over with 2 beers, obviously the same ones we had previously ordered and asked, "Want another round?" Me being the customer service oriented person I am I believe this is her making up for the fact that we sat there for near half an hour before being able to order our food. Not only that, had we said no those 2 beers would just go to waste. I'm not so sure what she was thinking in the first place, other than to be intentionally deceiving... I thought I was at a restaurant not a car dealership. So, as you've likely figured out by now, when the check arrives we were charged for the 2 beers we didn't even order! Wow, what great customer service... pour 2 beers your customers didn't ask for, after you left them waiting half an hour to order and then charge them for it. If I were her boss there would definitely be some training involved here. I just walked out, told my partner to deal with it or I would cause a scene. I get there are a significant amount of regulars here and sometimes they get priority over others, it is what it is. I would have had no issues waiting for my food, eating and leaving. But, then I am essentially scammed into 2 more beers? Now I'm mad. Unfortunately, we will have to find another "regular" place to go, as we just moved into that area and were attending this place multiple times per week. Management, do some training with your staff. When patrons don't order a beer and the waitress brings over 2 full glasses that is very misleading, especially when it's busy and there is a chance you have left those customers waiting too long so they see it as good customer service, the staff should understand this. I would've preferred fresh avocado vs something squeezed out of tube but I understand food cost. So I have been to this bar at least 50 times. So no issues until tonight. We order food and literally get burnt petrified food. My burger was burnt, tater tots petrified, my friends quesidalias looked like a steelers emblem. Absolutely horrible! I told at least two employees to no avail. I figured since no one working there was over 22 I would not pursue. I leave the waitress 35% because she was so clueless and took $1.54 off my bill. Point is it ruined the entire experience. We are local and go frequently. Then the adolescent waitress runs out in the parking after we left and was as useful as she was when we were inside. Absolutely deplorable. There are many options in the service industry choose wisely and find a place where management actually cares about the product they sell you. read more

Went in to meet my niece. The Bartender was TOO busy on the phone passing it back and forth with the cook. Had to go up to the bar to get my drink at 3:30pm with low occupancy. My partner in crime happened to hear about this place while he was at work, so on a cold night last week, while in search of something for dinner we ended up here. It's kind of a hole in the wall - if you're not looking for it, I think it would be hard to see. We walked in and secured a couple of spots at the bar, ordered a round of drinks and began looking at the menu. They have a lot of BBQ options, but we'd heard good things about the burger, so I opted for a bacon and swiss burger. It was awesome, but it was massive. The fries that accompanied the burger were great as well - just crispy enough and nicely seasoned. He opted for the cheesesteak and it was just OK. I definitely made the right choice with the burger. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. And the prices were great - $4 for a glass of wine is totally OK with me! That's a happy hour price elsewhere. Sure, it was cheap wine, but what do you expect in a hole in the wall sports bar? Overall, for 3 rounds of drinks and dinner for 2 of us, the check came in at $40. Can't beat that! I think I'd go back and try some of the other offerings - maybe some BBQ, and I would order the burger again in a heartbeat. With its pipe shape, unexplained secret ingredients, red coloring, preservatives and additives, it sounds too good to be true. The hot dog. Whether mom boiled, broiled, steamed or fried them...whether you had a bun or a slice of Wonder Bread...you were in heaven. So on this day, I proclaimed it to be Hot Dog Saturday, my search for that one great stuffed tube of processed sentiment. Fourth Stop: Sideways Sports Lounge. After ordering this kayaked sized chilidog, I had to shut down my Saturday search for the ultimate dog. This dog is so titanic; it comes served with Rose DeWitt Bukater laying on top of it and Jack Dawson hanging on for dear life. Ok, maybe not quite that massive...maybe. The dog and bun are drenched in an incredibly flavorful red chili with fresh chopped onions and shredded cheese. The chili could be a meal all by itself. The actual hot dog itself is no slouch. My wife and I went there last night for dinner. The place is small but had plenty of room. The crowd is great too. Service was excellent they do not rush you and the food is great. My wife I shared a meat sampler appetizer and salad and Texas fries. I am sure that most guys could have ate it by them selves but we weren't to hungry. The meat smoked just right and was tender. Wow, When I first walked up, i could smell BBQ in the air!! But man.... What a great cheese burger they have!!!! Lots of toppings to choose from. French fries cooked perfect. Great BBQ pork sandwiches, which are huge and plenty of mouthwatering, tender, juicy meat! They're BBQ sauces are delicious. They also offer "Texas Toothpics" which are deep fried jalapino and onion strips, delicious! The service is friendly and attentive. I have never actually been to the restaurant, but I have had their food delivered for several months now. I think John Gault would eat here. They produce extraordinary burgers, fries, rings, etc. Ask yourself, honestly, have you had better food elsewhere? And why are you not there? OK, sometime later, I ordered the Chili Relleno breakfast for delivery. The food was somewhat cold, but that was DoorDash. The one thing I would like to comment on was the green chili. I grew up in Texas and my wife grew up in New Mexico, this is great green chili (warning, pretty hot). I have not had better green chili in New Mexico (that I can remember). Descent place for Sunday sports watching. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the $2 PBR draft special. The bartender was friendly and attentive. It wasn't very busy so the food came out quickly. Apparently they're known for BBQ but my pulled chicken sandwich was okay. A little dry and the spicy sauce was more like mild. My friend lives in Westminster so that's what brought us out, but I don't think I'd make a trip out of my way to come back.
