Kokopelli Lodge is such a warm, comfortable, affordable, adorable place to stay! It is in a great location, very close to Main Street while still tucked away enough to provide a quiet atmosphere. The rooms are very bright and cheerful and the bed was so comfortable! It is a short drive away from Arches National Park and a walk away from the shops and restaurants in town. I loved that the rooms keys came with a rewards card for the nearby grocery store which was a very thoughtful touch. Our Jeep club booked this hotel for our yearly trip to Moab. It was very reasonably priced and my expectations were not high. I figured it's just a place to sleep. As it turns out, our room was nicely decorated and felt very homey. It felt more like a guest room than a hotel. We had room 1 and unlike some of the reviews, the bathroom had a full door and the shower worked fine and was clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I've stayed at other way more expensive hotels in Moab, and none have been as relaxing as this one. I plan to stay here again. read more

You get what you pay for is the definition of your stay here. There is no quiet little buildings and no space for the dogs like they claim. It is a very small room with a ridiculous bathroom that is designed to deny privacy. The website was down for days so we booked it over the phone so we were going into this with little detail. You get what you pay for so I will add a star there as the room was cheap. It is pet friendly but barely. Be aware when you book you could wind up in a very small room with little privacy and no where for your dogs to go. read more

Just loved this place. It was perfect for what I was looking for. Located close to restaurants, shopping, laundry , markets and gas not to mention the obvious hiking all around here. We were extremely disappointed. 3 things where out of line at the Kokopelli Lodge & they had no desire to help us so we left. 1. On an extremely hot day the air conditioner was not working properly 2. Ants were all over the place (front desk attendant admitted she knew they had been having issues with ants) 3. No internet Lack of the internet was no big deal but on a day hitting over 105 outside a working air conditioner is a must & ants crawling on us is definitely not something acceptable. We left & stayed at Motel 6. Kokopelli's refused to refund us for that night stating they could not re-rent the room. Well of course they couldn't the room was not habitable with these issues. We ended up paying for a room that we could not stay in & Kokopelli's to date have not refunded us. A straight up rip off & poor customer service. read more

Considering the price, location and amenities, this is a charming, little hotel in Moab. It's located right next to the main strip that has great restaurants, coffee houses and shopping, all within walking distance. The room itself was clean, had everything we needed (TV, internet, clean bathroom and nice shelving for putting our belongings) and it had a very beautifully designed sitting area, I presume for dogs. I would definitely stay here again given the location, service and cleanliness. read more

Very nice place to stay, proximate to everything downtown. Rooms were clean, very pleasant, quiet and comfortable. The units we stayed in also had a hot tub and gas grill available. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind they only accept MC and Visa, no AMEX. Still, not a complaint. The neighbor natural foods store is a plus, easy to get groceries. Cozy facility. At first I was hesitant about staying here, but the room was clean, minus some dog hair, and we slept really well. The heater was a bit loud, but we didn't need it during the night anyway. They allow pets to stay with you for no extra charge. Wouldn't mind spending the night here again. read more

The accommodations were extremely spacious; it's more like a small house with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, and bathroom. There's even a shared jacuzzi amongst the ~4 properties. We took a trip to Moab to visit Arches and Canyon lands on our way to the Grand Canyon. We stayed there over Thanksgiving (Wed-Fri). The staff was super friendly when they called us to see when we were planning to arrive. Since we were arriving after hours, they left our door unlocked. The lodge is located just off the main drag of downtown Moab. We could walk to just about everywhere, which we did. The room was clean, perfect for a couple or a single, and the heater was on when we arrived making the room super cozy. There was a mini fridge, a microwave, coffee maker, and a tv in the room. They also have a hot tub that is outside which felt really good to hop in after a long day at Arches. For cyclists, they have a separate room where you can store your bike. I would highly recommend the Kokopelli Lodge for travelers who need a clean room, comfy bed, and convenient location. read more

Amazing place, super nice and great price! Our suite cost somewhere close to $120 a night and comes with a kitchen, living room, nice bathroom, and comfy beds. The kitchen even had ground coffee for when we woke up in the morning! The hot tub was a great touch as well! Stay here!! read more

The place looked cute online. The price was right. When we arrived, all the windows were open. We didn't think anything of it. We turned on the fan and closed all the windows. it stank to high heaven. While it was possible to breath, it was noxious. I called the emergency number and I was told they could do nothing about it and they had no extra rooms. We had to go pay money for another hotel room - that this is inexcusable. So, with we left to get another room at another hotel that night. When I called them about the situation, they said they would pay back two of the three nights and not the first. I told them that we were there only about 10 minutes (which is true) and the stink. Apparently the next day they could not confirm it so they all but called me a liar (they never said those words to me, but hinted towards that) as they checked it out and found nothing. Because they found nothing, they could not refund me anything for the night's stay. I've stayed in a great number of places, I've never seen this kind of despicable customer service. I will be going to the attorney general and the Better Business Bureau as this is piss poor customer service. They didn't care when I mentioned this. Of course my credit card agreed with me and will take care of everything (including refunding my money). If they had not been so awful in the customer service department and treated me with a modicum of respect, I would not have written this post. It begs all logic. Normally I would not rag on other issues, but since they had such awful customer service, I think it is important to point out some of the other flaws with the place. 1. The vent, aside from stinking, didn't even have a grate to catch anything. 2. The front door lock was quirky although it did function. 3. There was no curtain for one of the windows. To be fare, light could get through, but it is not clear. 4. The bathroom door was the strangest indoor door I have ever seen. It looks like it was originally for a closet. 5. The bathroom was far from clean. 6. The parking is very narrow in the facility. If you do not mind these kinds of issues, this is the place for you! We were looking for something that was dog friendly and reasonably priced, and fell upon this little place. They had individual buildings, which were really nice. There was a little alcove area with a bunkbed for kids. The place was nice and tidy. In the center of the little cabins there was a courtyard area with BBQ pit and hot tub (they call it a spa). You don't have to really check in, but rather, they give you a code for when you check-in. It really is an adorable place, decked out in IKEAs best. I love IKEA, so I adored it. There were a few down points. They give you a sheet toward a credit to your next stay if you do some of the work. I did it, but because I felt guilty, not really for the credit. The dog run has no lights at night, and the bags that were there wore torn, so you couldn't use them. I brought my own bags, but obviously others did not since there was poop remaining. I would definitely return if I go back to Moab. read more

You're in an absolute tourist trap of a town with a cozy, quiet room, comfortable bed, working wifi, fridge and microwave, within walking distance of anything else you need, including a grocery store where your key fob gets you the member discounts, and you've paid half or less the local freight. If you're not happy, there's no help for you. And the hot tub worked just fine. read more

The office staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hot tub was wonderful after a full day of hiking. Although they looked full, I didn't hear anyone and I had a nice long soak by myself. Every room comes with a free wall behind the bed. No phone in the room. No bar of soap! I guess the owner is saving $ for retirement. No toiletries, none! I guess the owner is saving money for retirement. Do you like using the same liquid soap as hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash? You will if you stay here! Saving for retirement. No dresser or chest for your clothes! Really? I guess the owner is saving money for retirement. No key to your room. You will get the combination to the lock. I think every guest and !friend has your room code. This must be cheaper than providing guests with a key. I hear keys cost about $1 in today's market. No night stands. No vent in the bathroom. Towels with no holes. No way! Want a 20" computer monitor used as a TV? See it here! Owner on the road to retirement. I think if the owner did not have to provide water & electric, they would not! An eco friendly little inn within walking distance to main st. Super cute interior and exterior, and I little garden out front. Hot tub is nice, not needed in summer tho, its an above ground home style one, not a built in. I stayed for 5 days with a super complicated schedule and the manager was fantastic! She let us check in early, really made it feel like home away from home. We will only stay there when we go back to moab. read more

We stayed at the new 100 West compound for one night and it was great. Our free-standing studio apartment was clean, modern, and comfortable and had a hot tub and dog run. Very close to the main street in Moab. Super dog-friendly and nice to us two-leggeds as well. I highly recommend this spot if you find yourself in this part of the world. read more

Although this property dates back to the 1950s, it is pretty well-maintained. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioner works just fine, and each room has both a refrigerator and a microwave. The rooms are a bit small but functional. The shower is tiny but the bath towels were better than expected. There is hot water and the pressure is okay. There are no hair dryers. We welcomed the lack of carpeting (wood floor instead) so there was no smell of mildew so often present at even newer places. Where this location excels is in its staff. Alex at the front desk was exceptional in his customer service. He not only provided us with ice packs for the dying refrigerator but found another one for us, tested it, cleaned it up, and personally delivered and installed it. He even provided us with a cooler to use at canyonlands for the several days we were staying here. If I were to rate Alex alone, then he would get 5 stars! Overall a good value. read more

Not only dog friendly but mountain biker friendly, too what with places to wash your bike, work on it and they don't make a fuss if you want to keep it in the room with you. Prices are decent, there is another set of lodgings owned by the same folks that have kitchens and are set up for longer stays but you'll find most of your needs met here. Quaint, no, more charming than quaint, rooms have different color schemes and the tiled bathrooms are a hoot. Your hosts can direct you to the best spots to eat and will even tip you off to the watering holes favored by locals so you can dodge at least a little of the spandex clad masses. Been staying with them for years and can't imagine bedding down anywhere else in Moab. read more

As soon as we walked into the main area, we were nicely greeted by the workers as well as 2 dogs that were brought to the shop daily by their owner. the dogs were super loving and came right up to me asking to be pet. The customer service was amazing, and they were very helpful during the booking process, and when it was over, they offered my father two name brand beers for no reason other than being nice. After arriving to our lodge, the first thing we noticed was a "Bike wash" station, which was awesome with moab being a bike capital. When we got to our room, we were stunned at how high quality it was! It was very noticeable that many things were bought from ikea, which was amazing for a hotel. This is better than any hotel i've ever stayed at, and i highly recommend this place for its high quality, nice workers, low prices, and isolation! Did i mention it's very quiet, yet so close to main street? amazing!!! read more
