Came in here about 10am and they were already running out of stuff! We got multiple things. Including the Texas kolache, sausage gravy which was to die for, and the jalapeño cheddar. They had to warm them up a bit so they were molten lava inside. Definitely would've gotten more sausage gravy if it wasn't their last one. read more

My dad was in from out of town and wanted to go here to experience more variety in kolaches. I haven't been in a while, I got the jalepeno, cheese and sausage kolache. There's a lot of jalapeños, you won't be disappointed like some places that put it in the sausage and it's barely detectable. I found that the dough is better than the places we have been getting kolaches, price is reasonable. We split the "kolache of the month" which was actually a pumpkin muffin. It was really good! Sweet, salty and savory Kolaches. Sausage,egg and cheese were very good and so was the flavor of the month. The kids loved the Cream cheese Kolaches. There really wasn't a big variety on sweet Kolaches as I expected. The Kolaches are warmed up per your request. Although service was good and we had no issues with our order I can't rate them 5 Stars because their coffee isn't good. There's no way you can enjoy a breakfast treat without good coffee! read more

Tried one time during previous visit, I never had this before in the north, you talking about fully filled pastry, similar to Chinese Bun. Ordered bacon egg and cream cheese, both tasted great. One secret is that they would warm the food if eating inside, which enhance the flavors. Quite nice service and very patient to explain the concept and food, I will sure be back next time. read more

Kolaches... A classic Texas breakfast/brunch food. Or lunch sometimes too! Kolache Factory's kolaches are much better than the ones from Shipley's in my opinion. My favorite kolache is the Italian Chicken. They frequently run out of these because they're pretty popular. The Bacon Egg Cheese one is pretty good too. It's larger than the average kolache so it's quite filling. In addition to a variety of savory kolaches, there are some croissants and fruit kolaches. The tables and everything are always clean and well maintained. The service here is fast - no complaints. If you sign up on the Kolache Factory website, you'll occasionally get coupons such as BOGO etc. read more

This is always a reliable location for fresh pastries. I'm a fan of the sausage and cheese Kolache but I call it pig in a blanket. My husband loves the ranchero. I have enjoyed the cream cheese Kolache but it can be hit or miss depending on freshness. You can always ask if they're making a fresh batch and they will tell you. I always suggest waiting for the fresh if you have time, it makes a big difference. read more

I've gone to this location for years and popped in today for breakfast. I was very disappointed to find none of the staff wearing masks. At this point in time all restaurants and food places should have their staff wear masks. Also one of the workers handled cash right before taking my order, without washing their hands or using gloves. Health safety protocols are visibly not important. read more

A super huge thumbs up to Kolache Factory off Hwy 6 & Murphy Rd. I went in super hungry and craving those cream spinach kolaches and ordered them. To my surprise, I forgot my wallet and told them not to worry about it. But immediately the man in charge said, "don't worry about it, take them." I said I would come back and pay him and again he said not to worry. I did go back the next day and payed them but am now an even bigger regular there. I wish ya lots and lots of success. read more

Only reason this place is even getting 3 stars is for their cinnamon rolls and not the kolaches. Bought 1 ham and cheese kolache and 1 cinnamon roll. I had 2 bites of the kolache and threw the rest away. It was some ground up ham and cheese put together. Basically like a chuck meat, but ham. Cinnamon roll was one of the best I've ever had. I have been their customer for more than 5 years. Their Kolache always taste good. The workers are friendly. The shop owner hand made many wooden signs to decorate the shop. The text on some of the signs are hilarious and some are uplifting. It's a great way to start a day. It's a very cozy shop. read more

Out of all the locations I have been to, this one was the worst. They were out of a lot of popular kolache flavors and it wasn't even 10am! Then when I left with the kolaches I ended up ordering, one of them was wrong. So I brought it back. The manager lady was very rude about it. Clearly, only one bite was taken so it's not like I was trying to get another one for free or something. I did not appreciate her attitude or service. The cashier guy was nice but she was the worst. Now when we ate the new replacement order and the correct one from the original order it was not good. There was no cheese in the "ham & cheese" and then there wasn't much filling in the jalapeño popper. Overall, I will not go to this location ever again. Clearly, convenience is not worth it I should just keep driving out to the other locations. read more
