I hadn't been here before until this past Sunday night. Treated myself to ice cream after Game 7 of the World Series (Dodgers suck!). I had no idea that it's the sister store of Mango's, just up the street! Super casual, indoor or porch seating. I love their choices of coffee available and, like Mango's, a lot of high quality Roselani ice cream! I called them at 8:54 to let them know we are 5 minutes away, and they said if you are here before 9pm you will get service. So we drove there with a sense of urgency and got there at 8:59. What a fun place for a snack or some ice cream. We came for the latter. The choices were creative and interesting. I got one scoop of the Mud Pie and it was rich and chocolate filled, refreshing and quite delicious. There are fun items to look over plus a good number of available coffee drinks. There are fascinating historic photos on the side wall near the indoor seating well worth looking over. Service was very friendly. Great atmosphere. I felt disappointed with our visit! The line was short on a Friday night, and service was meh. I ordered the Kona Mud Pie ice cream, which unfortunately tasted too icey, nothing remarkable. For what we paid, I would expect a higher quality dessert. I did like the seating outside. read more

We were walking around town after dinner, and decided to stop for shave ice. Got a small shave ice with snow cap (condense milk, $1.5) and dole whip (+$2.5), which made it a bit of an expensive treat. The portion is big, overflowing out of the cup, which made it quite messy to eat. The server was super nice. She told us the shave ice will be twice as big as the cup, so we ended up ordering the small rather than the large. This was plenty to share between 2 adults and a toddler. We sat on the back patios, which has a few tables, and enjoyed the cool evening breeze. I'm clearly obsessed with the Aloha Cherry Truffle flavor. Believe they serve the same brand as Pinks in Hanalei as it tastes like perfection that I recall from the last few days up north. Super cute location. Koloa is more our vibe than Hanalei (which feels more like uber rich Californians). Koloa has more charm and has a great old town area to explore. We ended up getting kona mud pie & 2 half scoops of strawberry + banana nut crunch. Both in waffle cones. As well as a cinnamon bun but haven't tried it yet. The ice creams were good and the waffle cones were okay but they weren't as fresh as others we've had before maybe because we came near closing time?
