Had an absolute blast with these guys today. Me and my wife are looking for a good zip lining tour on Kauai and the hotel recommended this company. It was an 8-line zip line tour, but one line was down (they gave us a discount/refund due to the shortened route). There's a bit of a hike to get up to some of the lines, but they give you water and juice to keep you gong. Tour guides are all fun and genuine people, and just a great afternoon overall. Definitely recommend Koloa Zipline! We had Kaeden and another (I'm so sorry I forgot her name) as part of our ziplining team and both our guides made the experience a blast. We did the 8-line course and my husband was impressed with the safety of the equipment and instructions by the team. We are newbie zipliners and from start to finish from loading us up with gear to instructions to encouraging us to try different ways of ziplining, we felt super comfortable and excited the entire time. I have to say that the best part was how enthusiastic and fun our guides were. They were funny and engaging, giving fun facts about the island and ziplining the entire time! We will definitely be back - a few items of note. They book early so if you're doing a last minute booking, refresh daily for cancellations or call the office. We have it on a very reliable source (EMTs who have gone on these calls). And one person died when the person responsible for securing them to the zipline failed to do so and they fell to their death. Somebody has to say something to get this shutdown or fixed. We are 50 year Olds that had a blast with this crew of jokers. Britton, Janae and Eden...we just so much fun. There were maybe 20 people in our group, and these guides had most everyone trying new ziplining tricks. So fun to see everyone feel so comfortable hanging upside down or flying through the beautiful sites of Koloa. A+++to this company and these lovely guides. We will come back. read more

BEST views, best staff, fantastic experience. We are repeat customers because my kids had the time of their lives last time & it was just as fun this time. Leader Koa was amazing with the kids, had such a good attitude, that my son said he really liked him. Austin was also great - he asked the kids all kinds of questions and connected with them really well. TayBae was a seasoned pro, explained everything really well, and was very kind. Good staff makes the experience better & we're super grateful for these 3. My personal favorite are the VIEWS - so beautiful as you approach sunset. And even though I'm terrified of heights, everyone makes me feel at ease & by line 4 I can look around & truly enjoy the island views. Thank you all again!! My daughter(38 yrs old) and I have zip lined 3 times before. We've always enjoyed them. This was the best zip line operation we've ever enjoyed. The course was far and away the best. 8 lines, with the last one being half a mile long! Kaison and Cayman were our guides. They were both professional, personable and funny! Breycin checked us in again. He works for the same company that owns Kauai ATV. The guy is non stop entertainment. He was faking a country accent for fun while checking us in. He recognized us from the Kauai ATV excursion and gave us another discount. James and Kylie were our guides. Both were very super skilled zipliners. Someone from our tour got stuck on the line mid flight and Kylie had to go rescue them. Another person was overcome with fear. The guides were understanding and helped that person get back to base camp. There is a decent amount of uphill hiking for this tour. We had a few senior citizens who were gassed but they were able to make it up the hills after a brief rest. I would recommend and I would consider going again. read more

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Very easy to check-in at the shop in Koloa, then drive to the start of the tour. Our guides, one experienced and one new, were both personable and we felt safe and secure throughout. I love ziplining and thought this eight-line course gave us a nice mix of scenic and acrobatic. They told us in advance which lines allow you to try different maneuvers and reminded us throughout. I love going upside down, hands free whenever possible. Give me a spin! There is a bit of steep uphill walking between a couple lines which was a challenge for one of the older members in our group. We had a mix of experienced and new zipliners and I thought the guides were encouraging without being too pushy. We encountered some bugs so I do recommend applying some bug spray prior to the trip. Enjoyed water and snack bars during the trip and the guides took pictures which were available for no extra cost after our tour. Our weather was overcast and a bit rainy, but still a great experience. Lots of fun photo ops and a few local island stories during the tour. read more

This review is specifically for the tour guides Ben and Caymen. Our tour was setup for yesterday (3/12/22) morning. Arrived to sign our waivers and we're sent on our way with our orange gator necks. Got to the their place that's setup next to the old koloa sugar mill. Right off the back we were greeted by Ben and Caymen. WE WERE LUCKY! Only 6 others joined my wife and I in our group for the 9am tour! I'm super afraid of heights the group we were with and the tour guides cracked my shell open really fast. Man I have to say the tour guides made everyone feel so welcomed and were super funny to say the least. We both can't wait to do this again but we hope to get the same guides again! My husband, my 7 year old daughter and I were here last week during our vacation. It was my daughter's first time ziplining so I was afraid that she'd get on the platform, get scared, and back out. Luckily our guides, Guga and Sierra, were very friendly and outgoing, making her feel at ease. She was the only child in our group and they made her feel like a VIP. She had to go tandem on 6 out of the 8 lines and although she went with me once, she wanted to go with our guides for the other lines. The lines were really fun and I highly recommend the "fly" position a la Superman at least once. It is really fun and you feel like a bird. I wear contact lenses, so the first time I went in that position, I was afraid my contacts might pop out but I learned to adjust on the future lines. I think the scariest part for me was standing on the platform while getting hooked up by the guides. I'm short so when they were hooking me up for the fly position, I was told to get on my tip toes, while bending over, while standing at the edge of the platform looking out! Before booking the tour, I read that there's a snack which consists of a granola bar. My first thought was "that's IT"? Ha! The granola bar and juice was actually perfect because you don't want to be eating heavy while hiking and ziplining. The mosquitos are vicious out there! I got bitten about 7 times on my legs even though I was wearing pants and had a repellent bracelet on (maybe they just don't work too well). Other people were getting bit on their face because that's the one area they forgot to spray. I enjoyed Guga's humor and his knowledge of nature and the island. He showed my daughter a cool little plant that curls up at the slightest touch. He also offered to give us recs on good eats if we gave him our email address, since he's also a chef. Sierra was sweet and nurturing to my daughter and made her feel comfortable. My daughter was bummed when it was all over. I loved the fact that the guides take pics of you and you're able to view and upload them for free. They should have a third guide come along just for picture taking because I feel like between getting everyone hooked up and roped in, sometimes they forget to take pics or don't have time. Once you book a tour, the instructions state that T-shirts and not tank tops, are recommended. I called and found out this is to prevent possible chafing on the shoulders, due to the harness. Since I didn't book the tour until we got to the island and I didn't pack a T-shirt, I ended up going in a tank top. I didn't have any problems, or chafing at all so don't worry about it! read more

We had such an awesome experience with Koloa Zipline! They were very organized as we went to the main office, then were clearly directed to the main site and got fitted with harnesses and helmets. We loved Kepa and Mona who were so entertaining and made the event a blast for my family. They took time to make sure we knew all the safety precautions and taught us all we needed to know in a fun way. My boys (11 and 8) enjoyed it so much. Kepa and Mona encouraged them to try the different ziplining positions and they loved it. They're really great at their job! We booked our zip line tour through Viator weeks in advance of our trip and we're notified the day prior to our trip when and where to arrive. We checked in at the main office and signed the waivers prior to proceeding to the drop off location. We were quickly fitted with harnesses and loaded onto a old military style truck and taken to the first zip line station. Ben and Cayman were top notch. Very much focused on safety while providing a fun experience. It is obvious they enjoy their work and made it an amazing experience. The 2nd & and 8th stations are the longest and most breathtaking runs. In total we spent a little over three hours on the zipline course. 10/10 I would highly recommend. read more

It was my first time zip lining and I loved it! The lines are setup above tree canopy for the most part so you get amazing views. Guides were young and enthusiastic, but professional and safety-conscious, and tour was well managed.
