I found Kolossos online when looking for a place to create a high-resolution scanned image of a piece of original artwork. Kolossos created the most beautiful scanned image and Hot press print. The size of the original work required that 2 digital images be created then merged. The quality of image produced by this method looked just like the original and perhaps better, since the color was slightly more vivid and they even photo-shopped out a small hole in the paper. I was extremely happy with their work especially for the very reasonable price and fast turnaround time (~1 day!). The high quality service that I received continued with them packaging and shipping my print. I highly recommend Kolossos for their service and quality of work. I highly recommend Kolossos Printing! I walked in on a Friday with an unreasonable request (it was an emergency): I needed a 2'x6' vinyl banner in one week! In addition, I only had a general idea of what I wanted the banner to look like - all I had were 2 words, an image, and color choices. But I'm not a graphic designer, so my rough draft of a design was pretty bad. So I was very fortunate to end up working with Bradley Schwartz who took my miscellaneous notes and designed a beautiful banner that was 100% better than my pathetic attempt at a design. He listened to my feedback and made my requested minor tweaks very quickly. I described the type of font I wanted and he chose the perfect one! If I could 6 starts I would! This location did a fantastic job with the 4 signs they made for us as well as two correction stickers! They worked with us through our mix-ups (on our end) and was pleasant the entire time. They got us what we needed in a timely manner. Their drop box pick up was SUPER helpful. I used their printing services for a business trip this week. I needed a few hundred pages printed, stapled and delivered to the hotel my boss was staying at. I was beyond impressed with both Tony and Theresa. I don't live in Ann Arbor so I took a risk and hoped they would do a great job. The exceeded our expectations. I was disappointed in my experience at Kolossos. I asked Theresa to print guest addresses on two envelopes for my wedding invitations (I originally had my envelopes printed by an online vendor, but needed two redone). Instead of accepting the work, she first suggested that I try to scrape the ink off of the envelopes where there were errors rather than have them reprinted. When I expressed that I would prefer not to, she quoted me $30 to print guest addresses on TWO envelopes, arguing that "mail merging documents is hard." As someone who has done my own mail merges before, it seemed to me that she would rather spend all day coming up with excuses than helping customers at a reasonable price. From now on, I will take my business elsewhere and will caution my friends & colleagues against going here as well. read more

These guys are great, after spending almost two hours with their competitor, (rhymes with 'dinkos') trying to make two sided flyer line up properly, I was told they couldn't do it. After 5 minutes in Kolossos, they aligned the flyer and gave me the maximum amount of flyers that fit with my budget. I don't know why I didn't just go here in the first place. If you are looking for a place with quality materials, professional-grade machines, and knowledgeable designers, this is NOT that place. Looking to print wedding invites locally for a client of mine, I decided to give Kolossos Printing a try, after a few recommendations from a few of my artist friends. What a nightmare! I was able to consult with their designer who sets the files up to print. The designer was using the Adobe Creative Suite, and clearly had no idea how to run the programs. That was certainly a little disconcerting. We got the tester printed on the same paper and printer the finals would have been printed on. They were cheap feeling and low quality; you would be better off buying your own cheap printer and some card stock from Walmart. Seriously. Their best paper was flimsy and the colors came out mottled and flat. I asked, repeatedly, if they had any other paper options. I was assured that this was the best they had, and of course, how great they thought it looked. They also did a price quote. $317 for 300 5x7 double-sided color invites, which comes to $1.06 per invite and no extras. That would be a fair price if the product was quality, but alas, I would say it was ridiculous for what they offer. We ended up going with an online print company (smartpress.com), which charged $77 total ($0.25 each). I would say it was for the exact same product, but that price included upgrading to a fancy, double-sided 14 pt. semi-gloss, paper. They turned out AMAZING. The paper felt sturdy yet soft, and the picture and text was incredibly crisp. I'm super disappointed that Kolossos couldn't offer the same professional-grade product that I could get online for a quarter of the price. read more

We were in town for our mom's memorial, which we had been planning from out of town. We ordered our programs online from a company that we had used in the past. When the programs arrived the day before the service, they were all wrong. We found Kolossos via an online search and spoke to Kathy...who was a miracle worker. We sent her our pdf of the program and she had a proof ready for us within the hour. She then made sure that our programs were complete and ready for pickup the next morning. Bradley and I exchanged many, many emails and phone calls over a four week span, and all the while he was extremely professional, prompt, and overall did an absolutely amazing job designing our products. These finished products were better than anything I could have ever imagined; Bradley certainly exceeded my expectations. I've shipped a few packages here and I always felt a bit fleeced on the shipping costs. After the last time I shipped a package here, the price just didn't sit well with me. It was way higher than I anticipated. I shipped it there via fedex and so afterwards I punched up the weight and dimensions myself on the fedex site, and discovered that I was charged more than the online fedex quote. I've done fedex quotes online before and compared them to the actual shipping cost and sometimes it's off by $3 or so. However the last box I shipped with kolossos was off by $18. I felt a bit ripped off, I didn't even get a fedex slip, just some ambiguous receipt with no itemization, just a total and no tracking number. I was told when I asked, the tracking was on the receipt they handed me , but apparently not. Maybe their other services are ok, but I would not recommend using this place to do shipping. read more
