This was a pleasant find. Hard to say no to good poke! In all honesty, I would probably rate this is 3.5 stars, but the place had a little bit of a disinfectant smell when we came in, and the tables they had were a little dirty (to be fair, they were busy so I'm sure there wasn't an opportunity to clean them really). It's small inside and they have a few tables and a couch to relax on. And there are a couple of tables outside. Most people were getting their orders to go, and boba was popular. But we stuck to poke. The create your own is appealing because you can pick and choose from a variety of ingredients, sauces, and toppings. Everything seemed fresh and was pretty tasty. I rather enjoyed the ability to make something that appealed to me, but my friends made it their own too. Even if we disagreed about what belongs in a poke bowl. However my Boba was a letdown. Taste a bit powdery. I ordered a mango Boba and it taste like they either use milk powder or mango powder. There was not one piece of fruit in my Boba. I visited Poké I Love You recently and had mixed feelings about the experience. The food itself was fresh and tasted good, but there were some concerns that I feel customers should be aware of. The restaurant wasn't quite as clean and polished as the photos online suggest. The staff members were polite when spoken to, but no one acknowledged customers when they walked in, which made the service feel a bit lacking. My biggest concern was food handling. While preparing my poke bowl, the employee was handling ingredients with his bare hands after touching money and other items around the restaurant. Since poke contains ready-to-eat ingredients, this was very concerning to me. When I pointed it out, he was apologetic, but he continued building the same bowl instead of discarding the ingredients he had already touched. I had to specifically ask him to throw it away and start over, which he eventually did. The food tasted good, but proper sanitation and food safety practices are non-negotiable, especially when serving raw fish and ready-to-eat foods. I hope management addresses these issues because the food has potential, but the cleanliness and food-handling practices I observed would make me think twice before returning. read more

Now let's get into the food I ordered the bbq pork buns, brown sugar milk tea, and the potato corn dog half hotdog half cheese. My friend got the rainbow bowl. I loved all my food! The buns were filling and a great size. My drink was amazing, brown sugar is my favorite! My corn dog was flavorful I just wish the half of the dog was a little bit bigger, it didn't seem like an actual half. As for the rainbow bowl my friend said she loved everything in it! Visited Poke I Love You with my daughter. We enjoyed the bubble teas with popping boba, which were super tasty and fun. She got a cheese-filled Korean hot dog that was decent, but over $10 felt a bit steep. We both ordered build-your-own poke bowls. Mine was flavorful, but she bit into something odd in the chicken and felt nauseous, so she stopped eating. Our total came to $65 plus tip, which seemed high for what we got. The restaurant was clean. On the bright side, the staff was very friendly and attentive. They serve poke bowls, ramen, bubble tea and a whole plethora of Asian snacks! I have friends that OWN their own boba place and they don't agree with whatever this is.. watch the video, all powders are labelled. The black tea (not pictured but I drank it last time I went) tastes like chocolate milk, not black tea. The Thai tea tastes like maple syrup, not authentic Thai tea with milk/condensed milk. They come out chalky every time I order one. Is this not real tea? Why charge almost $8-9 (depending on size) per drink for a cup of water with powder shaken? They're not authentic flavors and super powdery. I've been in the restaurant industry for many years, these are shortcuts. read more

I went with a buddy to this Poke and Boba Tea place today for the first time. Opens at 1030am but got there early to check it out. I noticed a very clean store and many vegetables behind a clear shield to choose from to create a Poke Bowl. Also, Boba Tea seems like the new goto somewhat healthy drink with the yogurt balls at the bottom of the cup. Didn't have much time and noticed that Poke I love you had boba. I got the peach fruit tea with boba and it was extremely sweet I didn't ask for anything special with it so I think it's just normally very sweet. As for the boba its self they were very chewy and inconsistent as some were hard in the center which was disappointing. I'm defintely curious about their poke bowls though and would come back to try those but probably would skip on the boba. read more

I ordered a base of White rice, and you can choose two protein options, I chose Salmon, Tuna. My veggie toppings were unlimited and I got Cream cheese , Corn, Edamame, Mango, Scallion, Massago , lastly my sauces I put Eel sauce, Spicy Mayo, and to top it off I put crispy onion and crispy garlic and nori(seaweed). This also came with a miso soup! Let's talk about protein.. my protein was tough and very warm (almost not as fresh) as my usual poke options. The unlimited toppings are good. I can see why people like to eat here, they have a variety of toppings to choose from and the decor and music choice was good. I usually get a bubble milk tea to wash this down, and I got lured in to getting a powdered/tea thai tea is what the lady called it.. my mistake.. it was not as great as she promised.
