Came for dry cleaning, one alteration, and fixing of 2 pairs of boots. Walk-in/drop off on Tuesday and picked up on Thursday. Dry cleaning 5/5, everything looks great and no cat hair!!! Alteration 10/5 - the seamstress is literally a magician. Thank you so much. I bought a size small pants online that came in and were basically 3/4 my entire body height so I couldn't wear them. She took off so much length but I seriously cannot tell it was altered at all, it looks like it came straight from the store's warehouse! Definitely will be coming back if I ever need another alteration. Shoe repair 10/5 stars - I actually almost cried getting to wear my boots again! I brought in two pairs of REALLY CUTE tall heeled boots with broken heels, missing zippers, and dust collected from 3 to 5 years of waiting in the back of my closet to be brought in for repair, since I refused to throw them out. Both boots look amazing, they cleaned them, fixed the broken heels and soles, added new zippers. They're so sturdy and I missed them so so so much!!! All around beyond satisfied. Workers were very kind, services were exceptional. It was $91 to get 2 pairs of boots fixed, 1 pair of fabric pants hemmed, and 1 coat, 1 sweater, 1 tie, and 1 dress dry cleaned. I knew I didn't need to buy new boots or throw them away when I could get two pairs fixed for less than/roughly the same amount as getting one new pair and I am so happy!!!! The workers are all very patient, they're very quick and fast, but they don't make you feel like you are rushed. They're very knowledgeable when it comes to their service, and our own product. Unfortunately this place "misplaced" my wedding dress and magically didn't have my information or anything in the system when they tried to look for it. My dress was over 1,000 and now it's just gone. I never received a call for pick up or was notified that it had been there too long, so I think as soon as I dropped it off they dropped the ball and never input my information correctly. I'm sure they must have sold it and pocketed the money. I used to come here almost 20 years ago so I thought I would use them again but I didn't check the reviews. 1. Continental Cleaners ask you to have drop off receipt to pick up your cleaning, then just throw the receipt in the trash when one picks up cleaning. Receipt has Name and Phone number. What can a person with bad intent do with that receipt? A lot. Not good. Either give the receipt back to customer, mark it as already used, but do not throw customers' receipts in the trash. 2. Items are often not ready when promised. Several times as a customer, I waited beyond what was promised, even for 1 day cleaning. Never made a big deal about it until now. Oh and had several occasions of double creases on my trousers where I then had to re-iron my pants before important meetings. 3. Prices have gone way high at this place. Used to be reasonable and well priced. A couple of suits over thirty bucks is unreasonable for dry cleaning. 4. Located in a shopping center that is in same parking lot of liquor store, and it's kinda sketchy especially at night time. 5. Had 1 day return (which charged way extra) picked up several hours after promised to me the customer, and treated like I was late (bad customer service). Treat people well, YOU ARE A BUSINESS, WE ARE YOUR CUSTOMER, you don't know who the customer's are, what kind of day they have had or what they (the customer) may be going through or dealing with. It is called "good customer service." Disappointed and will not be returning as a customer. read more

I took my brand new uniform into Continental cleaners, because I wanted it to be taken in and the hem to be shortened and dry cleaned. However, when I went to pick it up, they'd done a terrible job with the stitching, the hem uneven and very poorly done. I immediately bought this to their attention instead and they agreed that it was not tailored properly but instead of rectifying the situation, they still charged me $45. The response and customer service was absolutely disgraceful. I now have a uniform for my first day on the job that I cannot wear until I can find another tailor to fix it and now have to pay an additional fee. read more

The owner doesn't care about you. 5:03 pm is what GPS said for arrival. We called at 4:30pm to let them know we might be literally 2-3 minutes late, but that we have engagement photos tomorrow and we needed to pick up. Would they please wait just 5 minutes total? (the shirt was paid for...) The owner was insanely rude and said no. "We have families too!" he literally yelled at me. I replied and said "Man, it's literally 3 minutes and it's for engagement photos. I wouldn't ask if it wasn't insanely important" He started yelling. Loudly. 3 minutes folks. He won't wait 3 minutes for a customer getting engaged. Again, the article we needed was even pre-paid and we told him he could just leave it on the door and that we would assume the risk. You'd think that might knock something in his heart loose, but nope. Not an option, don't care. Bye. Click. I'm a small business owner myself, and I've worked in retail a long time. If any of my bosses heard me do this to a customer, I'd be in trouble, and if any of my employees did this to a customer, they'd be fired. Empathy and caring are why I go to a small business.
