Buffalo Dough and ice cream cake crunchies!
    Georginia S.

Who doesn't love ice cream?? I know it's winter but sometimes a girl truly just needs a scoop or three to round out the night. We traveled out to East Aurora to get ice cream and everyone was so nice! My husband and I both got the Buffalo Dough. He got it as a milkshake and I got the scoops with ice cream cake crunchies. I didn't realize heaven had come to earth. I loved everything about this experience. This is truly the only thing I will get every time I'm here. The staff was also super nice and really accommodating as well!

    Cool decor.

I came here with a friend yesterday afternoon. We were out in the area getting selfies for a scavenger hunt that another friend is leading. We needed five ice cream shops and we decided to come here to grab another selfie. This Kone King location isn't like most ice cream shops in the area. You go INSIDE to order and can eat INSIDE!!! They used to be cash only but they now take credit cards, if you'd like to pay that way. My friend ordered an ice cream that she absolutely loved. I ordered a small vanilla soft serve sundae with rainbow sprinkles, Spanish peanuts, and a tasty butterscotch topping. It was amazing!!! (This place is kind of pricy but it didn't deter me from taking off a star because of the taste.) They have the most hard ice cream choices that I've seen anywhere else. They have many other items to try. Their Twister (like a Dairy Queen Blizzard) flavors sounds great. They have more Twister Flavors than the other location and many of their flavors sound so different and interesting. They have a fluff-n-nutter flavor that I'd love to try. They have many booths available, if you'd like to stay inside and eat in their air conditioning. They also have a case of frozen treats and cakes that you can purchase to go. There is cool ice cream decor painted on the walls and in their bathroom. (I didn't take as many pictures of the decor and the menu because the line moved quickly, once we came in.) Stop by this awesome Kone King location. You won't regret it!!!

    I've cream cake

I ordered a sheet cream cake last minute, the day before I needed it, and they did an amazing job!

Always a pillowy dream ordering the traditional vanilla!x

So many types of hard ice cream it's extremely hard to pick one. The soft serve was also bomb.

Stingy sizes, a medium here is a small at most other places. Management tends to be mildly rude and a bit short when taking orders

The building is an old one on Main Street, decorated in the Roycroft style and font: Minimalist and decorative. The line for ice cream moved quickly: The women behind the counter worked hard to fill orders, and most people knew what they wanted. We chose scoops of chocolate "Bada bing Bada bourbon" in a cup, and two scoops of gelato in a waffle cone. The portions were enormous! I've never seen an ice cream so large! The total was about $15 for four scoops, and a small upcharge for the waffle cone. This is great value! The flavors were so good we were already making plans to return by the time we left. A word about the layout: There are chair on the front lawn; the front porch and inside have tables and chairs. A single unisex bathroom serves everyone; in summer there can be a line. Most of the people there at that hour were young families; the strollers and prams parked near the stairs. Is there anything cuter than seeing a toddler enjoying an ice cream?

We made the trip out to try it for the first time and weren't really interested in any of the flavors. Secondly, they don't sell plain chocolate or vanilla or any soft serve, so if you don't like any of the unique flavors, there's nothing plain to choose instead. A nice place, but probably won't be coming back unless I happen to pass by since it's not worth making the trip and risking not liking the flavors.

The quality is incredible and the mix-ins are so generous, no skimping here. This round we tried the Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella and the Oreo Brownie Cake. Christian absolutely nailed the cozy, Christmasy vibes with the eggnog flavor. I already know I'll be craving this one every winter. And the Oreo Brownie Cake? Come on... the name alone is tempting, but it delivers. Think fudgy brownie swirls, big chunks of Oreos, and pure chocolatey goodness in every scoop. Basically heaven in a pint. Worth every single penny. And even better when you share it with someone who also has a sweet tooth.

I'll be honest, I've been putting off ordering a few pints because I didn't want to make the effort/time for picking it up. Thanks to a dear friend, a fellow Yelp Elite, I've FINALLY had the opportunity to try some pints, and holy smokes, Living the Cream is phenomenal! Note that in to order flavors, you'll want to follow "livingthecream_" on Instagram, "living_the_cream_" on Facebook, which showcases any new flavors being crafted and hosts the link to place your order. I tried two flavors: Oreo Brownie Smash and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella. Oreo Brownie Smash is Oreo cookie ice cream with brownie batter swirls, Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough, and half-baked brownies and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella is spiced eggnog ice cream infused with Jim Beam and Platter's dark orange chocolate stracciatella. Just. WOW! Absolutely no complaints, each was bursting with flavor and packed with so many mix-ins. I loved finding huge Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough chunks and just how chocolatey Oreo Brownie Smash was thanks to all the brownie bits swirled in. The Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella had the creamy, comforting flavor of eggnog with a nice nip of Jim Beam that let you know it was there but never overpowering. The crunchy bits of the dark orange chocolate stracciatella cut through all the creaminess, only elevating the ice cream overall. Opening both pints, I was super impressed how jam-packed they were - It took a bit of effort to get the lids off, the pint was on the cusp of overflowing! So I didn't order these pints so I can't give you the most accurate pricing info, but after trying a couple flavors, I'm happy to order a few pints myself without thinking too much about the cost. I'm really glad Living the Cream is out here, churning up amazing ice cream flavors for Buffalo! As a few other Yelp reviews mention, make a little room in your freezer and treat yo'self to a couple pints of some of the creamiest, mix-in full ice cream you'll ever have!

The Pink Cow is my happy place. It's small, yes, but mighty--and filled with frozen joy and sugar-fueled chaos in the best way possible. There's plenty of outdoor seating (umbrellaed, because sunburns are rude), and ample parking for all your impulse sundae needs. For the efficient ice cream warriors among us, there's even a drive-thru. I've never used it, mostly because I live in fear of dripping soft serve into my cup holders and explaining that to my mechanic. Also? I'm a people-watcher. Give me a bench, a waffle cone, and a toddler in pajamas and cowboy boots blowing bubbles, and I'll be emotionally wrecked thinking about my grandkid on another continent. Worth every tear. Also, let's talk about my ordering process: I get a large. Then I go home and casually tell my husband it was a medium. Don't judge me, Janice, we all have our coping mechanisms and mine is portion-size denial. When my husband joins me? It's date night, baby. First, The Pink Cow. Then a romantic stroll (read: shuffle) through the Tractor Supply at the back of the parking lot, where we look at baby chicks and he buys me a sundress (See my Tractor Supply review for those details). You can keep your rooftop martinis and overpriced tapas--I'm living my best small town romance novel life, and it includes fudge swirl and farm supply fashion. So yeah, get the ice cream. Live your life. Stretch the truth about the size if you must. The Pink Cow is worth it.

On a Saturday, around 8pm or so, the family and I were walking downtown Jamestown and came here for a cold and creamy treat! From what I could tell, they only served hard ice cream, which was locally made by Addie's Ice Cream, along with sundaes, floats, etc., so no custards here, but no complaints here! After perusing their flavors, we were able to go right up to the window and place our order. There appeared to be about two or three people working, but they were courteous and quick, including the woman who took our order. There were a couple of benches near this shop but more than likely, expect to stand or walk somewhere else to sit. We all ordered medium-sized ice cream cones and upgraded to the waffle cone for an additional 75 cents. I went with their New York Cheese Cake and Mint Oreo Fudge flavors. The NY Cheese Cake flavor was on top and was very creamy! I loved how the cherries were swirled in. The Mint Oreo Fudge was an excellent closer for my ice cream cone as it was fudgy with plenty of Oreo cookie pieces and the right amount of mint flavor. The medium-size was the perfect portion too, it left me plenty satisfied. I will admit the prices might seem a tad on the high side, but the ice cream was very good and I like to support local places when I can. Overall, The Sprinkle Cone scooped out a great experience with friendly customer service and quality hard ice cream.
