I was really craving some Asian food and my daughter was sick so I got the wonton soup which at most places around the area is almost $20. Ordered over the phone bc DoorDash was a bit expensive. I appreciate the price point and I loved the drunken noodles. The only mistake made was that it was not ground chicken with a chicken basil dish, but I still loved it and the Thai iced tea just really hit the spot. We brought it back to our hotel and it was the best meal to get over some jet lag. I'll definitely try to return when I can! read more

Highly Recommend This Restaurant! We absolutely love Thai food, so we decided to stop by and give this place a try--and we were genuinely impressed. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As soon as we arrived, she treated us to four complimentary vegetable spring rolls, which were absolutely delicious. We ordered the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Papaya Salad. All three dishes were outstanding--full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and very close to the authentic local taste we experienced while eating in Bangkok. The restaurant itself has a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu. I had such a great experience here! I ordered the pho and crispy rolls, and both were absolutely delicious. The pho had a rich, flavorful broth with fresh ingredients, and the crispy rolls were perfectly crunchy and paired so well with the dipping sauce. Everything tasted fresh and came out hot. So surprised by how great this place was. I got the tom kha soup which was delicious (doesn't have tomatoes in it despite what the menu says) and it was awesome getting to see them make my friend's drunken noodles in the wok. She loved them and says they'll feed her for 3 more meals. The service was lovely, we came in and ordered take out, then decided to sit. When we sat, the man who took our order was surprised and came over with spring rolls for the both of us, as well as bottled water. What a sweet couple and a comfortable, homey place to sit and eat. The restaurant has changed hands. I was told the previous owners had retired. They didn't know about my order when I walked in. I tried to call the order in but it stated the box was full so I had to order online. When I got home the bottom of the bag was full of sauce and dripped all over the place. The whole dish was soupy and chewy. No scallions, a few pieces of chicken. Not very appealing or appetizing. This was my go to Thai place for years. What a scam! What you see is not what you get! I wish I could give this place a zero! We saw good reviews, went and ate, thought the food was okay (for how much they were charging), ordered a couple of more dishes to take home, and got a huge bill! Thinking it strange, I asked to see the menu again, at which point the owner hesitated and then simply said, without a single word of apology, "The prices are different." He then pointed to a handwritten sign on the kitchen wall, which lettering was too small for me to see from where I was sitting, and said, "The prices have changed." When I checked, some of the dishes were billed at $5 more than the listed price on the menu!?? Isn't this some kind of consumer fraud? Can I file a report somewhere? read more

This was our first visit to Kong Thai since its new ownership, but boy were we impressed! I had my doubts initially about the sweet and sour sauce that came with the crab rangoons because it wasn't a thick sauce like we're used to, but it was even better than the generic sauce we normally see. and the crab rangoon? Sooooo good, my husband declared it was the best he's ever had! He got the chicken broccoli mushroom dish which was delicious and my pad Thai was also the best I've ever had. I almost finished it because I was enjoying so much I couldn't resist it! The outside and inside of the little restaurant was refreshed and the ladies who ran it were wonderful. All I can say is it totally exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be returning for their excellent menu. read more

So many good reviews!! Maybe I just had some bad luck here. Ordered the Pad Sea Ew, and the flavor was quite bland and noodles super mushy. This dish should have the noodles fried to give them a bit of charred flavor and chewy texture. The amount of food given was A LOT. So no complaint about that. Anyway, many people love this place, so don't take my criticism too seriously. But maybe the owners and cook will see this and make improvements. read more

I would say the food is average. I placed a lunch order of pad Thai with chicken two stars and it was OK. My challenge is overall presentation of the dining room, exterior and deck to sit out on. All in terrible need of updating or repair. My mind automatically drifts if they do not maintain an upkeep the restaurant might they be taking other shortcuts elsewhere? Service was fine and quick. Kong Thai in Seabrook,NH has been on my take-out rotation for many years. The food was excellent! Freshly made, the quantity amazing and quality superb. So wonderful that I recommended it to many friends and family (my daughter and family have been ordering from them as well). Last night we placed an order. As soon as it arrived I noticed that the containers were half the usual size. Well I understand with inflation that is acceptable. I opened the container and immediately noticed the difference from what I had always ordered (crispy pad Thai). The pan fried noodles had some brown sauce, the two shrimp were small, the bean sprouts were minimal and no fresh lime slices. I was still optimistic, since I was never disappointed with anything I ordered before. One taste of the noodles was so salty and left a metallic taste in my mouth. The shrimp was so chewy, not palitible. I assume the restaurant changed hands, I can't imagine the wonderful owners I have dealt with would ever prepare and sell food so deplorable. We dined in, though there are only a few tables it was worth it! We were given bottled water and spring rolls on the house and our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering! I ordered pork dumplings and fried rice to go. I should have reviewed the bill before paying since an order of egg rolls were also included for $8.95. When I got home I realized the mistake and called to request a refund. I was first told it was a gift however the receipt clearly showed I had been over charge. I did not get a refund. I got two orders of spring rolls , which amounted to 12 spring rolls. I couldn't stop laughing when I opened the container back at the hotel. We ended up really liking them. But they definitely didn't come with enough dipping sauce. The other two dishes were good but very bland. I guess I should have asked for some spice on them.
