Delicious and very clean seafood! I got the seafood platter and it was plenty to feed 2 of us and we had left overs for dinner!

Grumpy window people, outside "patio" smells of trash and sewage, the food was horrible and over prices and the inside seating is sticky, dirty and hot. I use to go for the ice cream only, which is really nothing special. I don't eat fried seafood and the rest of the menu is something that you might see at a carnival. I was at Kool Kone this weekend and there was an overpowering smell of trash and spoiled milk, right where you order your food. The place is run down and fairly close to route 6. Excellent soft serve ice cream! Friendly staff, quick service. We drove from South Dartmouth because there are only a few that do soft serve and the season ended for them. But this place is year round and with the Indian summer was very happy for that. read more

Stopped here yesterday for dinner. Haven't been in a couple years but remembered it being decent. Ordered clam chowder and chicken fingers. The other 3 people I was with also ordered the chowder as well as other items. I was extremely disappointed with the chowder. It was the worst chowder I have ever had. It had a strange sour taste to it and just tasted very off. The other people I was with agreed and thought it tasted sour like they possibly used bad cream or like there was cheese in it. I took two bites and threw it out. The chicken fingers were good but that's about it. I went and told the people that worked here that the chowder tasted off and sour so I'm hoping they tried it and decided to throw out the rest of the batch! read more

Yesterday on 8/10 around 9:30 I went to kool kone to get ice-cream, while I was waiting for my icecream, I listened to some guy who appeared to be the owner or boss verbally abuse and all of his employees dropping f-bombs and calling them names. The screaming was so loud that the customers at the Gateway Tavern across the street came out and watched. I am very disappointed with what I saw tonight and to all the parents of employees or soon to be employees i'd reconsider where you're sending your kids to work. read more

Kool Kone has the best ice cream in the town of wareham, no doubt about it. It's been a tradition since my dad was a kid to go there. The food is all fried but delicious. The frozen yogurt is like heaven and a large list of ice cream flavors. the scoops are ginormous and it's flippin' cheap. doooo it. read more

Have been going here for like 15 years and it is never dissapointing. It's a classic summer shack. The calamari, onion rings, and lobster rolls are amazing. Classic ice cream and fast food place in Wareham. Total blast from the past kind of place. Teenage kids man the windows. They've got a great selection of ice cream. Food ranges from fried seafoods to burgers and dogs. They have great blue plate specials - like a cheese burger, hot dog, fries and soda for $6. Can't beat it! My kids love the hot dogs with the grilled rolls. They have seating, both inside on the veranda and outside in the sun. Worth a stop on your way between Wareham and Marion. read more

I've been going here for years and have always enjoyed their food but after today I will NEVER go there again. I saw my order of food dropped on the floor and it was picked up and put back into the bag. I told them that I saw them do that and I would like another meal ordered. I had been waiting for 15 minutes for my original order and they tried giving me a NEW order in less than two minutes. Just went for ice cream. It was fine, but the smell of garbage was really strong. Just standing outside waiting for the order, I kept looking for what must have been a full dumpster nearby. I don't know where the smell was coming from, but it certainly would make me think twice before ordering seafood, beef, or poultry from them. read more

Best fried whole bellies and sea scallops ever. The owners really give back to the community and i've never had anything disappointing or bad from Kool Kone. for seafood it's our go-to place every time. can't beat it. fresh clams, shrimp, scallops, fish and oysters! not heavy on the batter and good portion size. they could hold back on some of the fries though. clam cakes and chowder are also delicious. our favorite summer time spot for food and ice cream. read more

I've been going to Kool Kone since I was a little kid and I'm 35 now. Every time I go here I hope it will be half as great as it once was, but I leave very disappointed by the cheap business practices and rude customer service. Tonight was no exception. I asked for a medium ice cream yet it was a very cheap serving with about one small scoop of ice cream in the cup. I always order a small but I ordered a medium this time because their serving sizes are so stingy so this was especially annoying. The ice cream was really icy too. My son dropped his spoon and since they keep all of their utensils and napkins behind the counter (again because the owner is stingy and couldn't bear to let plasticware go to waste) I had to interrupt someone else's order to ask for another one. Even though I asked nicely, the two girls behind the counter glared at me and neither one made a move to help me out. I asked twice and both times they just looked at me. To the point where the nice woman ordering at the counter jumped in and said "can you please give her a spoon??"! The rude little teenage girl then stared me down while reaching under the counter to get my spoon. Perry's is a much better experience and their ice cream is far better quality. I will NOT be returning to Kool Kone again. read more
