April 8, 2024 while at Leslie pool care Anthem. This is a reach out to the gentleman that helped me in passing. I was swapping out the filters for my Pentair Clean and Clear 420 and I, for the life of me, couldn't get the upper half of the canister to seat on the O-ring of the lower half, allowing me to secure the metal retention strap. I went to Leslie's in Anthem to replace the O-ring hoping this was the issue. I don't know his name, put a patron in the store overheard my issue and offered some very helpful advice. Between the new gasket and the great advice for the technique to seat the upper canister to the lower half, it all came together. Keith has no idea what he's doing or what he's talking about . He came to our house , was unfamiliar with the Hayward vacuum and told me I couldn't use this unit . I had another pool man come out and turned on my unit within 15 minutes. I would never recommend Keith as he is uneducated in pools and mechanical issues . read more

We inherited Kool Pool from the previous owners and have had a great experience over the past two years. Keith has automated our system and has been extremely patient with my wife and I as we learn to use the system. Regular weekly service and the pool looks good for a reasonable price. read more

LAZY. Keith is LAZY! Keith services a pool in my neighborhood on Herrera Rd in N. Phoenix. When emptying the filters, rather than walking the extra 5 feet to the trash cans, Keith simply dumps the debris, trash, and crap from the filter over the fence. Problem is, the other side of the fence on the main road that everyone from the neighborhood walks, jogs, and bikes along. So now every day all the people in the neighborhood are subjects to piles (months-worth now) of ugly pool waste in full view. If Keith is so lazy that he's willing dump pool-trash over a public fence to save himself a couple steps, imagine how lazy he'll be when taking care of your pool?! Keith, remember I called you personally, and politely asked you to stop doing dumping here? Well, this post is my reaction to you ignoring that conversation and continuing to do the exact thing you said you wouldn't. I'll also be sending a letter to my HOA and will let my neighbor know you're doing this next time I see them. You could have stopped this posted from happening but brought this upon yourself. . . Keith is AMAZING to work with, he is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. He is great at troubleshooting and seeking options. We had a draining spa into our pool and he quickly identified and fixed our problem where others struggled. He goes above and beyond to meet his customers full satisfaction. The good: Keith is friendly and knowledgeable. My wife used him for her real estate clients for several months. And he fixed a leaking pool pump at our house for a reasonable price with no issue. The bad: After our one good experience with Keith, we agreed to have him to drain, acid etch, and refill our pool. At the same time, we needed him to service our pool cleaning system and do some other minor repair work. Several hundred dollars worth of work. We scheduled a month ahead of time. And when we reached out to him to confirm details, he flushed our calls, failed to return our texts, and ignored our e-mails. The ugly: The day he had agreed to show up to start work, he no-showed. If Keith had bothered to respond to any attempt to contact him, if only to say "Sorry, I'm not going to be able to do it after all," I could have found somebody else and no hard feelings. But by refusing to communicate and then no-showing, Keith left us high and dry. Extremely unprofessional. My wife is going to stop referring him to her clients, and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. read more

Keith has serviced our pool for a year now. When we moved here, we had a terrible time finding someone that fit our needs. We went through 5 pool teams, until we found Keith. He is professional, does great work, on time, and easy to talk to. He teaches you about your pool and systems as well. We also had a pool heater installed by Keith - which we love! My pool was losing water! I called Kool Pool care and Keith was prompt and came out the same day! Keith quickly identified where the leak was! Stay away! Gave decent service for a few years (though couldn't seem to keep the same cleaner for any amount of time) then stopped coming for over a month. Wouldn't return e-mails, phone number wouldn't take messages. Pool went green, had to hire another company to come drain, acid wash and start service. Keith finally calls and and apologizes for the service outage. I tell him hes fired (also e-mailed to tell him to cease service) but after this call someone starts coming out and servicing the pool again and he keeps charging my credit card. read more

Met Keith a year ago when he did a pool inspection for a home we were purchasing. The home and pool were built in 1999 so some things needed work. The pool equipment had not been well maintained. We had Keith replace some pop-up heads that didn't, unclog the main drain that was full of plant debris, and replace the sand filter--it was showing its age and the sand appeared to have never been replaced. He had to replumb the system around the pump and filter because of poorly completed initial installation. Later, when the old pump was dying, he replaced it with a new multi speed, programmable one that uses considerably less electricity. I use his monthly pool service as well. All the work he has done has been reasonably priced and professionally completed. I highly recommend him for pool repairs and monthly service. read more
