Second, he went so far out of his way to help me I'm actually writing a review for a grocery store. I hope his management sees this because this dude went all over the store trying to find the thing he needed to help an idiot like me. I bought something with a credit card, walked out the door and threw away the receipt, then realized it was the wrong thing. I've worked in the service industry before and people with his commitment to solving the problem are few and far between.

They didn't even know I had Medicare. AND I've been going there for 2 1/2 years now. THE auto system didn't recognize my phone number. They didn't have enough of the medication I needed so I had to settle for 20 pills less and I can't refill till the following month so I agreed to take it unfortunately. They NEVER have what I need in stock. They're not willing to stock UP what I need. THEY are rude, entitled lazy, and they lack human compassion and the basic decency Needed. Hands down The worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with in my long life in Hawaii.

I have to assume it is based on the CVS website. This is the one and only Longs Drugs Store in Hau'ula. We were here for some drinks after driving from Kahuku Food Truck area. Eating those salty food made us really thirsty. We could stop at the food stands on Kamahameha. Good thing we got to park safely at the parking lot. Everything in the store is CVS branded. It doesn't bother me. Because I know exactly why. And, I don't talk about politics on my Yelp reviews. So there. We were there in the afternoon around the time the school kids were going home. There was only one cashier and dozen of customers waiting to check out. We were on vacation. So, we didn't mind waiting. I found the usual Longs Drugs items at certain aisles by the grocery section. Got some lihing cherries, arare, coconut water and crack seeds. Then, we were on our way back to town. Overall, I thought it was pretty nice place to stop for some quick grabs. I wish we had time to explore the shopping center for some kaukau. Maybe next time. Aloha!

Long's in Haleiwa…read more.. The place that we love to shop for all necessities is here at Long's, which is now owned by CVS hence the biz name here on Yelp but here in Hawai'i it will always be known as Long's. A place to stock up on the various wants and needs of our daily needs are found here through the weekly Sunday ads keeping it cost friendly for generations along with shopping for gifts and celebrations are found here and being miles away from town I'm sure is the place for many locals shop. Parking here is amazing in comparison from the general Haleiwa location is never gonna be a problem lots of free parking regardless the size of your car and though the roof seemed to be suffering from the recently downpour of rain hoping it all can get fixed so that we can continue to appreciate the staff and what it has to offer this community. Thank you!

It's rather convenient but a little more expensive due to the touristy area. It's my go to for prescriptions, vaccinations and other health care options. I love the self check out. If you're headed to the beach and need supplies and drinks, stop by your local CVS in Haleiwa.

I loved working with Long's for my pharmaceutical needs. There seems to be newer technicians, which…read moreis cool! However, today I called to confirm a dosage change with my medication and told the tech how my insurance said to run it. She put me on hold and came back on to tell me my insurance approved it and what the cost would be. I got a text saying my medication was ready. I sent my husband to pick it up, but when he came home, it was still the lower dosage. I went in person to talk face to face and the pharmacist said that the technician told her she confirmed with me the lower dosage over the phone. That was funny to me because I literally told the tech I was calling for a dosage change that needed to be rerun through my insurance in the process in which my insurance rep told me. Nevertheless, by law I couldn't return the medication which did make me a little frustrated. However, what really set me off is the technician NOT taking accountability. I walked off and told the pharmacist please tell her not to lie! I understand working for a corporate pharmacy may make you want to fib to keep your job, but I wish they could be a little more helpful. The pharmacist said "we could try rerun it but not sure if insurance would cover it." At that point, I didn't think I could trust this pharmacy to advocate and facilitate this process on my behalf since no accountability was taken. I recognize I have privilege to advocate for myself and to navigate this process to get the right medication, but what about the aunties and uncle and the kupuna who can't or may not know how? Unfortunately lying creates an equity gap, and in their line of work of HEALTH, it becomes crucial that they take accountability and do their best to care for their patients. My medication is not life or death, but what about the patients who rely on appropriate doses? I do recognize my husband picked up the wrong prescription and it could have been corrected on his part. However, I still stand by my review on accountability because there are a lot of individuals who have guardians or family members picking up prescriptions that may be trusting health professionals to do their job.

Shopping in Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii…read more.. We were in the area, and this location of Longs was so convenient. The large, shared parking lot had several nearby parking spaces! I had two coupons to use. The cashier was so patient in explaining that one coupon couldn't be used on sale items... so, I got a greeting card. The other coupon could be used on sales items as long as the total amount of purchase was $30 and above. Okay... whip out the math skills! LOL! I personally liked this Longs Drugs Store. It wasn't as cozy as I expected (after reading the reviews). It was pretty much well-stocked, neat, clean, organized, well-lit, and pleasantly air-conditioned. We just wondered why the Easter items weren't half off since Easter was three weeks ago... It was an educational and productive visit! Thank you!

Right at the entrance, they had most of the Thanksgiving essentials displayed, which was actually really cool. And of course, I had to splurge on an Oreo house-making kit just for the fun of it. They've got great holiday items right now to splurge on so buyer beware and don't spend all your money at once! All in all, I was really grateful Walmart was still open when we went. I just wish they stayed open a little longer for us late-night shoppers! Also, they have the most charming mural at the front entrance.

Customer service here lacks in the Pharmacy dept. I came in to have some refills for pen insulin needles and I was informed by my mail order pharmacy that I can refill items while on vacation based on my coverage. The pharmacy tech first stated that she could not get a hold of the pharmacy that the number I gave here was wrong etc - I then told her I just spoke to someone with the same number and I can place them on speaker phone if I call again. She then stated she will call again. This time she didn't give me an excuse and she did speak to someone and that they could not refill my pen needles because the rep stated I have no records of such refills on my account. I then told her hmmmm thats interesting because the agent I spoke to said that I was refilled of such few months ago and they have a record of that. So she spoke to an agent again and this time they cant do a refill because they don't have it until this and that and the one at King St can refill it. I was over it then. I felt she kept giving me the run around. The pharmacy here sucks based on what I have experienced.

I happen to be in Kaneohe and went to this CVS Longs Drugs at Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center…read more This Kaneohe store was almost empty which I thought was unusual as I normally shop at CVS Longs Drugs at Pali Highway... which is always busy. Anyhow I have two items and I go up to an open register #7. To reiterate I rarely go to this Kaneohe Longs Drugs and it hardly had any customers that day. The cashier (#2900924) accused me of cutting in line. I'm confused because register #7 looked open as I saw no one near by. She then pointed to a sign further back that says "Line starts here". There was one customer waiting there. Ok my bad. I did not see the sign and was unaware about that. I did not notice the one customer standing further back at the "Line starts here" sign. I've been to other Longs where you just go up to any open register. In fact... I was just at Pali Highway Longs that very morning where customers just go up to any open register. I did not like the way this Kaneohe Longs cashier handled the situation. Accusing me of cutting in line and giving me the third degree. She could have understood that people who don't normally shop at Kaneohe Longs might be unaware of that. This Longs has a wide area with the registers spread out. Unless one is already aware... that "Line starts here" sign is easy to miss. It's just the way the store is so wide open and how the layout of the things are that I did not notice. Other stores like Target and City Mill has a "Line start here" sign... but there are partitions near the checkout counters to make it obvious and hard to miss. Kaneohe Longs don't have any partitions near the checkout counters... so it is easy to miss in the wide open layout of this store. It was an honest mistake on my part. All that cashier needed to do was inform me "The line starts back there by the sign". And I would have been good with that. This was a misunderstanding that could have been better handled with simple courtesy and understanding. There was no need to make accusations in order to make me feel bad. That was uncalled for. I've later heard from other people who live in Kaneohe tell me of similar issues concerning the lack of courtesy at this Longs Drugs at Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center. Probably no wonder why the store was empty of customers. I will never come back here again and will stick to shopping at the other CVS Longs Drugs elsewhere.
