Third time no show for an appointment. Not even the consideration of a phone call. Also, does not return phone calls when messages are left.

My first review from a few years ago noted that I was not impressed with my sales team experience…read more This review is about the service department. I took my 25 ft boat to them to have a substantial gouge repaired and paint work once the gouge had been repaired. I met with Scott who is the service manager for GSPS. Scott assured me they could come very close to the Titanium Gray that my boat has on it. He then stated "give us 10 days to two weeks to finish the work". At the end of two weeks he called and said come and look at it. To say I was disappointed is putting it mildly. Scott then told me he wanted to keep it and have the work corrected. I was impressed with his commitment to customer service and I agreed to leave it with him. Yesterday, I received a call from John, letting me know my boat was ready to be picked up. Once we got there and saw how well they had matched the Titanium Gray, I had to smile. Scott's testament to customer service is VERY rare these days! When I got back to our house, my neighbor who saw the gouge prior to being repaired said "well, how did they do on the repair". I then challenged him to find the spot. Needless to say, he couldn't! Scott and his team just state what will be done, then they follow through. So, I short, if you need work done on your boat, GSPS would be a great place to contact. Scott, well done my friend and I want thank you and your team for your effort on my behalf!

Our experience with Gulf Shores Power Sports has involved an ongoing pattern of poor communication,…read moreexcessive delays and inconsistent information across several warranty matters. There has been significant employee turnover, making it difficult to know who is responsible for an issue or whether prior commitments will be honored. Phone calls and emails frequently go unanswered, promised follow-up does not occur, and the information we receive often changes depending on which employee we reach. On more than one warranty repair, we were told that our boat was "next in line," only to later learn that it was not or that another customer had been placed ahead of us. We have also experienced excessive waits for warranty work without dependable updates or clear explanations. The most recent issue involves the warranty replacement of a rusted and unstable trailer. In February, we were told we were next in line. In June, we were again told we were next in line. As of August, we still have no reliable information about when the replacement trailer will be delivered. Because the existing trailer is rusted and unstable, we have been unable to safely use our boat. Instead, we have continued to receive unclear and changing information about the replacement process, payment arrangements and whether our boat and new trailer will be released promptly after the transfer. The greatest problem has not been one isolated mistake. It has been the repeated lack of follow-through, accountability and reliable communication. Based on our experience, customers should document every conversation, obtain all warranty promises and timelines in writing, confirm that extended warranties have actually been registered, and carefully review all terms before leaving a boat or other property with this dealership.

Sometimes I don't know exactly how to repair something but I tear into it anyway. They have been knowledgeable and willing to share their expertise. Good folks to deal with.

This review is about safety, misrepresentation, and accountability…read more From day one, critical warning signs were dismissed. A red power-steering warning light appeared during the sea trial and was explicitly brushed off by the salesperson. After purchase, the steering intermittently failed--an obvious safety risk. An independent mechanic later discovered severe damage to the steering system, including scorched wiring and a failed pump requiring nearly $7,000 in repairs. I was never provided service records despite requesting them. The boat was also delivered with standing water inside the hull, disabling the bilge system. I found this out during pre-checks and then again on the water. The response from sales was dismissive and unacceptable. Communication failures were constant: * Parts "ready" but missing * Conflicting answers from staff * Wasted trips * No follow-through Escalating to the parent company resulted in a call from the GM telling me it was no longer his issue. This was my first boat purchase outside of kayaks. It has been an expensive and deeply disappointing lesson. I am now pursuing formal remedies.
