Right from my initial call and talking to Max in the front office, to the fact that their office was able to schedule me for an appointment within days steered me back to Kopit Dental after a 2 year abscence thinking that I would find comparable care. How wrong could I have been! My current dentist was offering questionable care which led me to return after 2 years away, back to Kopit Dental Care. What I expected and what I received as a diagnosis for my Crown could not have been any more extreme. I was expecting to just have my crown re-attached. What Dr Kopit found, that my current Dentist could NOT, was decay below the tooth. Her thorough diagnosis was both comforting and re-assuring. Explaining in great detail by showing me my Xray from 2 years ago compared to my current Xray. Very eye-opening, but at the same time, comforting knowing that her diagnosis was on point. I have, and will continue to drive 3 hours one-way to get what I deem the best dental care possible. Anna Kopit and her team unquestionably offer the best dental care in all of Maryland. No wonder they have been voted the Best of Frederick two years running and are a shoe-in for a third! I can't wait for my next visit. Though I was very nervous about this appointment as it was the first of four needed to correct damage from dry mouth syndrome, it all went off without a hitch. I have a back injury that keeps me from lying flat all the way. The hygienist and Dr. Kopit worked with me and were kind and empathetic. Any questions I had were clearly answered. they had told me the procedure would take 90 minutes and it did. I never felt rushed and when I mentioned that I was feeling uncomfortable, Dr Kopit stopped immediately and added more numbing meds. From the first hello to checking out and making future appointments, I was treated kindly and professionally by the office staff. Upon entering your office, the staff greeted me right away in a pleasant fashion, once checked in they said to have a seat and they would be with me shortly. My appointment was 11:00 AM and they took me back at 11:15 or 11:20. First time I have ever had to wait though. I certainly understand it happens and not a problem. The dental hygienist was friendly, kind, thorough and professional. She apprised me often what she was doing, checked on me during the procedure to make sure I was OK which was very nice. After she finished, Dr. Kopit entered and then proceeded with her part of the appointment. All went well which was good to hear, checked out and made future appointments. The practice is well-organized. Front desk staff are friendly and plentiful. The dental hygienist who greeted me and provided initial care was friendly, welcoming, and made certain to talk me through everything so that I understood what she was doing. After each procedure, she thoroughly wiped down what was used. Dr. Kopit was very nice and took her time to explain everything so that there wouldn't be any misunderstanding. The equipment used seemed to be state of the art. As a new patient, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. After a negative experience with my previous dentist, this was quite a relief. At my age (53) I've been to a few dentists, and this place was horrible. THE most painful time ever spent in a chair and I have quite a high tolerance of pain.. 3 hours to extract a tooth, not kidding, from the moment she touched until removal. I stayed calm the entire time, even felt bad for her. But this wasn't just a "rough tooth"....the following visits were as bad. Very very rough (kept banging the instruments on my other teeth). I'm also not prone to take the time to write a review, but this bridge/extraction went that badly. I thought it was just me until having spent past 2 years w/ a very talented dentist who made me think back on the horror of Kopit. Nice decor though, should be a hair salon. read more

Very impressed with this practice so far! The receptionists are friendly and helpful, the office is beautifully decorated and clean. Lyne (sp) the dental assistant is WONDERFUL! She is efficient and professional, and talked me through every step. Both Dr. Kopit and Dr. Pesin are always friendly, attentive and thorough. The way they explain each procedure and prepare my kids for what to expect removes any anxiety and makes visits a walk in the park. Everyone from the front desk to the hygienist is kind and professional. Questions about procedures, appointments or billing are always answered in detail. The office is very welcoming - spacious, well lit, large windows, chic but comfortable interior design. My daughter finally had a successful dental exam after we both switched to Kopit. She has anxiety when it comes to the dentist and has refused to even open her mouth for the last 3 exam attempts. The staff and docs at Kopit are all friendly and professional. They have a beautiful waiting area, televisions for kids to distract them and nice window views from every chair. Now I know that it isn't necessary to go to a practice that specializes in pediatrics only. We both see Dr. Paudel at the Urbana location. This was my second visit to Kopit Dental. I was there about a week ago for a cleaning and check -up. I have been a dental phobe since I was a kid , but I have to say the cleaning and my appointment today were the most pleasant I've ever had !! The whole staff is so friendly and nice and I was so relaxed as I was getting 4 fillings that I almost fell asleep . Dr Kopit and her entire staff were amazing to me today on my 1st visit! Ashley took so much time with me explaining everything that she was going to do. Dr Kopit actually cleaned my teeth and did a fluoride treatment. She took so much of her time with me & reassured me of everything. First time at Kopit Dental Care and they seemed very organized, clean, and polite. They were one person down and within one hour of closing so it felt a bit rushed, but it was understandable. I was not expecting to have to let the kids go into the office by themselves to get their fillings done and it was a bit nerve wracking for me and kind of scary for the kids. The dentist was patient and kind with the kids and we all got through it just fine.
